So these don't fall under fan art, I'll have to demonstrate my unbelievable skills at messing up drawings here XD


So this was meant to be a guy at first but as you can see he/she can be defined as either side of the sexes XD a nice comment one of the random people who walked by just had to say when i doodled it in art class..-.- I was practicing
my profile view draws at that time.. also >_> i smudged with my finger back then.. now i use cottons swabs and pads :D

Ok so this one is a fan art but i don't want to repost in the other thread.. ed elric some ppl might have seen this in bf >_> but since i want to be praised i will stick it up here as well..

I over did the shading.. it was really crappy paper you see.. i couldn't erase or anything.. even smudging was f-ing hard to do without ruining it completely.. i saw a similar pic on da and tryed my own version..

This one i saw in an issue of FHM once and tryed to draw in class..>_> of course i was stupid enough to try and ink it with a ball point pen which didn't like working very much XD hence the freakishly curvy leg XD also notice the oh so detailed and masterfully done boots XD

Now my first ed fan art.. >_> this one is all me... except the character obviously.. proportional problems occurred during scanning.. >_> it's not a flat scanner it's meant for texts mostly it seems.. ) <-- scanned curvy like that..
For some reason i kept going and going at the picture and eventually overdid it..-.-

I messed up the feet on this one >_> so i cropped it.. also his man boobs seem misplaced..

Ok, here's a new one, i started doing it at 1:20 am last night and stopped so i can scan it before i make any mistakes. got a scanner this morning from my bro so here's the picture >_> i obviously know all the flaws no need to tell me ^^

XD feh this is just a step stone phase, i have lots to work on.. i gave her hair outlines yesterday.. >_> dunno if i should post that version.. also i'm gonna add shadows now XD I feel like the hand was left off a little awkward too small perhaps? >_> well the pose and beautiful woman is all credited to the person who took the photo, who every you might be, thank you =D
Right so i think i'll post the finished version or something near that next..

Notice the scanner makes white spots in some places and has a lot of crap on it which is also left on the scan >_>

EDIT: OK I messed it up T_T hairline is all faded, too small a transition between dark and light and hair is XD well you can see can't you.. I decided to stick a bg in it.. >_> black y'know..

Fathers day is coming and I'm drawing my baby brother as a gift to my step-dad , here's how it's progressed so far, I'll keep posting scans of the drawing as I progress and scan it in.. Hmm i'll not smudge this one, gonna keep it nice n pencil drawn..

^^ No classes, I just started doodling one day and this is where it got me... well so far at least.. >_> I don't see how age should be an issue.. XD I like your style as i already stated in your thread.. I like how messy it is.. I wish i could, but art doesn't pay that well over here.. Well at least pencil art.. O_o do you take classes or something?

EDit: I had some spare time so I tried sketching a Japanese idol XD bah i'm not used to working with faces this small.. so she didn't quite fit the photo.. >_> and then i went and smudged it bah.. well it's a scrap work..but I like doing sloppy stuff once in a while..

Actually, art doesn't pay everywhere you go. You have to believe that you can survive and actually be rich making art. Kubo sensei is one of the best example. Resolve can be sharper than any sword.

I self taught myself until 16, then decided to make art as a career so I went to an art school. But then I stopped school, drop out and now working full-time. During the time I dropped out, I actually suffer a bit of depression and give up drawing for a while. But then I decided to go back drawing again cos I realised that is the thing I really love to do and it always make me happy. Yes, it may not be able to feed me but at least i know, I follow my heart. So now I am taking recovery step to go back to the art world and hope I can be an artist. Currently having job that is unrelated to art at all, at least I will have a lot of experiences and make me more practical. One of the dangerous thing about artists is that they are too idealistic.

Go and try take a class. It is really very fun and you get to know many people who love drawing same as you. Not only that, you get to learn each other's drawing techniques and you will improve very very fast.

anyway.. yay finally a chance to update this thread XD I have a few scrapped pieces to show.. my scanner is apparently damaged and stretches the top part of drawing out horizontally..-_- bleh.. so I was watching House one night and thought i'd give it a shot and tried drawing him.. >_>

Obvious mistakes.. the chin seems misshaped, head stretched out >_< damn you scanner.. I also find the ear wrong sized and head seems like a wrong shape.. also I F'ed up the beard didn't have a reference to check the shape from... I didn't bother finishing it and tossed it aside..:p I'll give it another shot soon.. from scratch.. =D just trying to keep the thread alive lmao..
