My first impressions of the opening are... meh. Still like the song. Great animation quality, nice effects and angels.... There is just nothing new... Nothing different. We say a bunch of it in the last opening. I think my favorite parts were with the espada, since that is semi-new, for the anime, but still taken right out of the manga. Meh. It will probably grow on me like the rest of them. :nuts The ending is the usual bleach type ending - no surprises or disappointments there.

As for the episode, my only problem with it was the music. They are still lovin the Bount arc soundtrack for some reason. It would be much better to bring back some of the old bleach action music, or even continue to use some of the newer music. Besides that :nuts, it was all good. Ishida looked SHARP through the whole episode.

Having heard the full version of After Dark already I was expecting the opening to much more fast-paced with more action, but this is still pretty cool :) The part where Ichigo bursts into the Espada meeting looked sweeeeet.

And personally I don't see how anyone can hate this opening song. It's fantastic IMO.

Episode itself was nice. Ishida looking very cool, and it was hilarious seeing Ichigo being knocked around so much XD

Animations is at a good area and the fillers are reasonable, though Chad and Ichigo seem to take some hits.

Op was good to look at, didn't like the sound of it though.
Ed wern't bad at all.

If Bleach continiue like this and have some ep going better and none getting lower I'll be satisfied.

well regardless of others opinions....i still love the opnening...lol i find it very hard to hate anything about bleach these days.

this series should be great though. i like this arc alot! its not even finished in the manga yet...it sholud finish soon though. anyway there wil be some fillers, but i say brimg em on. all of bleach is good enough, fillers or cannon, dnt matter to me anymore.

Not too shabby. The animation was pretty good. I wish it had more HM rescue party solo shots other than Ichigo, but the black and white scenes reminded me of manga artwork, especially Aizen.

I still don't see how so many of you can hate this opening so badly. It's disappointing.


That's not gonna stop me thinking its freaking awesome, so whatever.

The only thing I'd change about it is that final scene of Ichigo dashing and fading in and out of Bankai/Mask...maybe replace that with the other guys or a more action based few seconds that isn't just running and it'd be perfect.

And the song is addictive as hell.

That song IS addictive. I loved it when I heard the whole song yesterday, and I love the opening version even more. The scenes were great. It was a nice change, and the chosen scenes were good. The ending was great too. I loved how it showed the privaron, and the song wasn't too shabby either. The ep was pretty good, decent animation, though I didn't like where they cut it. But now I just want them to continue =3 I thought this ep as a whole (plus op and ed) were done magnificently.

Assuming it's not a yhbt, what other groups are doing Bleach? I started Bleach with Lunar, and chose Dattebayo when they dropped it. As such I have no idea what the sub landscape is like for Bleach.

And even if Dattebayo is just fucking with us again, I'm really considering switching who I go with just because they are such a group of dicks.

As for the epp itself, the OP is going to have to grow on me, as I flatly didn't like it. Song didn't stand out to me at all and the animation, while very cool in places just didn't click. Definately different, but I don't think it worked.

Overall, it was disappointing. Not really worth waiting two weeks for but, meh.

Opening was pretty much not-so-good. At least as far as bleach openings go. It felt like a filler opening, and with the up coming Menos Forest arc, well, I'd like to think of it that way. >_< the explosions of fire highlighting the credits clashed badly with the blues of orihime drowning and the neutral tones of HM. I guess they can't do the usual pop-punk stylinz like in the last several openings as they are no longer on earth, and it's hard to make HM look exciting without doing the same thing over and over again since it's pretty much a desert. The black and white part with the espada was pretty cool though. The song...eh, I'd like to forget about it.

The episode was ok. It was weird hearing Ichigo talk so much. Or maybe it was the way he was talking. idk. :P But Chad looked pretty badass. <3
