I was just mucking around and I ended up creating this, started out with a sketch to help me create my wooden cosplay sword then I added more and more XD.

You're cosplaying as Gin? I thought you liked Hitsu more. XD haha that's awesome dude. I don't remember GIn's zanpaktou off the top of my head...but it more resembled a dagger than an actual sword, right? Like a rapier or something? Yeah, I like your drawing. Handle might be a bit too long, but that guard is awesome. Post pics when you're done!

So I decided Gin would be good since not too many people would cosplay him compared with the others. The handle, haha it is a bit long XD I didn't notice. I suppose I can fix that up a bit.

His zanpakutou is a wakizashi, and the GUARD! FFS! That was one of the most annoying parts, the rest of the annoying parts being, the handle and the blade, ie everything else! But yeah, the shape, initially when I wasn't serious on making it look decent, it was like a MS Paint scribble thingy, then I just kept on refining it and making it rounder and sharper, more even. I'm happy with the outcome ^^

Do you know how you're going to make it? Out of wood right? You have specs and everything all ready? When's the con?

When's the con?Wood, hmm haha, this "exercise" was supposed to give me the specs but I'll work it out easily enough. I'm just trying to figure out what to do about the handle since I figured out how complicated it actually is and I want to make it look as good as possible.I know it might not be wanted you want to hear but omg it's so cute :pHaha thanks ^^;

I was thinking I might make more of these, they're really fun!:p
