Well I hear a filler arc is going to take place in the Forest of Menos during their adventures in Hueco Mundo. If the title lives up to the name then I bet Ichigo and his crew run into a lot of Menos Grande.

Luppi's voice is the same as always, he just always sounds angry here ^^;

And it was predictable the Anime wouldn't actually show Grimmy's hand through TentacleRapeBoy, but it wasn't too bad...Would have been nice to have seen a closer view of just his lower half to confirm his death, but this was still cool I guess ^^ Grimmy's laugh after that sweeet...

Just talking after that...Quite a decent episode overall ^^

But the fact how the angle was shown lets me believe that this was an afterward cut only for the TV stream. Maybe they'll release the uncut version on the DVD.

Hmmm certain parts looked a bit less in quality, and they make Grimmy's hair too short sometimes ... but still loved the entire part ...

Japanese TV can show a dying, impaled, blood-vomiting Ed Elric but can't show the best violent manga scene EVER in its natural beauty? :cry

Oh well, I guess I'm over it. I still got my fix. Grimm-sama's insane laugh... and hunky bandaged torso shots...yeah...:cool: And Luppi's VA did a fine job.

Persumably though there is less they can get away than before. Hence why a lot of the blood we see these days is black instead of red...

hi folks its been a while :-) i really loved this ep (even though it was censored a bit) because it had a lot of great moments (gj owning, orihime at the end) it was like one of the episodes at the beginning of bleach.

Besides did anyone rip the new theme during ishidas and uraharas conversation?? i really liked that theme

It was an okay episode. Ive been dealing with censorships in anime for a while now so it didnt bother me they censored the Grimmjow part.

Animation for next episode doesnt look that well imo. Chad still has the short hair. <_<

This was one of the best episodes to have come out since the filler ended; lots of stuff was going on. Animation was pretty decent. Some parts ;) were a little better looking in the manga, but it was exciting to hear the voice actors performances.

Edit: Was it just me or did Urahara sound particularly badass this ep? I'm not used to hearing him get all serious. :D Isshin and Ryuuken were also many kinds of win.

Thx a lot 4 the raws and subs!!!Im not really surprised that they censored the luppi scene as wen dey were airing the SS arc Bleach was shown at 8 05pm whearas in the beginnin of the arrancar dey started showing it ay 6 30pm which is the KIDS Block.And sorry 2 disappoint u guys but if u look closely at the scene in ep138 where several of the espada are shown u can see that a certain espada's wardrobe has been changed 4 this censorship issue

hmmm....when ryuuken (best name eva!) called isshin 'kurosaki', isshin was suprised that he called him that. i used to think that just meant that ryuuken called him isshin, but seeing as how uryuu doesn't do that whyy would ryuuken? so i think those theories about isshin actuaully being shiba isshin could be believable maybe...as in ryuuken used to call him shiba maybe.

It was ok, I didn't like how they did the Luppi scene really, like Grim was far away then suddenly had his arm through him, I didn't care so much that you didn't see what happened to him but at least show him go towards him and yer to me that laugh was pretty bad ahahaha At least Ishida made me laugh on his reiatsu surfboard hehe

Yeah...Grimmjow's cackly was erm, wrong to say the least! It should've been more crazy and louder! I also didn't like the: Lookie lookie I'm there and suddenly here to pierce yo ass.

All in all....awesome epi!! Kyaaaa Grimmjow:love and the ending was soo sad..I loved it!

btw..nice preview for next epi and shinigami's cup was...meh.

The whole Luppi thing wasn't done right needed a bit more to it. The laugh was lame O_o was just like ok then... I laughed more at Ulquirorra's expression like Meh... And the mod soul bit i really didn't see any point at all in that. Was ok but could tell it needed tweeking a bit.

Uryu calls absolutely everyone by their last name, so it would seem odd for Ryuuken to have "always" referred to Isshin by his first name...Unless he's always referred to him by a DIFFERENT last name...OMG it works. Its certainly something to think about...

Great epp overall but it just added one more scene that was really botched due to TV censorship (Yammi vs Team Ichigo and Ururu vs Illforte being the other two).

Animation looked pretty soild for most of the epp. Hope they keep up the quality. Though it did suck they not only delayed the new op/ed by an eppisode but pushed that epp back a week. Kinda a double kick in the balls.

I dunno, evil insane anime laughs are supposed to sound a little goofy. I thought it was decent enough and did the job. The end of it made me giggle though. 8D

Erm...nope, I don't think so. He was pissed off that Luppi, a much weaker fighter got his rank and Luppi was dissing him about that. Ofcourse he'd wanna take revenge on him and that's why he said: See ya later, 'EX' number 6;)

LOL, great, now everytime I watch this episode I think of your post and expect Grimmjow to actually choke. It would be hysterical. The anime should have taken that kind of liberty, I wouldn't mind. I sort of see Grimm with a dorky side to him anyway. :D

Great episode, my faves were Orihime healing Grimmjow (just awesome to see Grimm's arm grow back like that). That and Grimmjow getting his Sexta back. XD Loved Ryuuken and Isshin's interaction and the Golden Cup. Isn't that part of an omake or a sketch Kubo did in one of the volumes?

I love the look on GJ's face when Aizen asked Orihime to heal his arm. Kitty wasn't expecting that and I guess Aizen doesn't like being questioned by Luppi, heh.

GJ's laughter is quite well-done, IMHO. Insane chuckles to himself suits GJ really well. Kitty's baaack!

Poor Orihime, resolving to be a valuable prisoner just to stay alive / unhurt until the Winter War.

Wouldn't Luppi only go to Soul Society to live life as a regular soul if he was "cleansed" by a Zanpakuto? Since he was Cero'd to death instead I don't think that counts as a "cleanse" ^^;;

^^ Very true. Though now I'm curious. Could an Arrancar do a soul burial with his zanpakuto? An cleanse a hollow for that matter with it. Maybe. Unlikely somehow for both of them.
