Rules:

1) If you do not like a pairing DO NOT post in that pairing FC. If you read the fanclub and want to discuss something that was said then sort it out via PM or elsewhere, do NOT go into that fanclub and start a war. Anyone posting in a pairing fanclub that isn't a fan will almost automatically recieve a ban.

2) Try not to discuss other pairings unless it is absolutely necessary.

3) You can discuss other pairings but when others discuss your pairing negatively and you don't like it sort it out through pm, if you break the above rule to start a flame war it's an instant ban.

4) Neg reps to rival pairing fc posts over such things won't be tolerated. I consider this being in an FC of a pairing you don't like therefore breaking a rule.

5) I'd suggest just totally not reading the fc of the pairing you don't like but I know that is never gonna happen. You all wanna be able to talk about other pairings so much well fine but just be prepared for others to do it about your favourite pairing also.

6) At this point in time any pairing/ship/ship wars issues will be dealt with by: spacecat. So please contact spacecat if there is a problem and not another mod.

7) Many members of both the IchixHime and IchixRuki FC's have decided that all such anti/offensive sigs and avas will be removed and will not be used here anymore. If an anti/offensive sig is made in the future it will be removed and if you are a repeat offender then you will be warned or banned. This includes text also.

Ichigo and Orihime first met at the age of 12. Orihime's older brother, Sora, died in the Kurosaki clinic from injuries acquired in a car accident. Ichigo watched as Orihime cried for her brother, although he did not find out that the crying girl he saw was Orihime until they entered high school.

Well, I don't really understand why space wanted to merge the last few posts of with the new post I made for version 4. It would have been nice to have all those posts already attached to this version...but once we pasted the 1021 posts, the IchixHime V3 topic became the hottest one topic here at BA :yay But oh-well, I don't think he'll try to do it again, because now he knows what will happen (if people post beyond the 1000 mark before I get the new post up, then when he merges them, those first couple of posts that went beyond the 1000 mark will be the first few posts of the new FC, leaving the "opening post" the owner (me) makes the 4th or 5th post.

I'm glad you guys all like the banner and the wallpaper! :inlove

Very nice banner, Lady Orihime. Yeah to V4! It's funny how just last week we were talking about when we were going to see the top secret V4 banner. I saw there was a lot of activity yesterday but the discussion was too fast and furious for me to read it all.

Since we are starting anew, I want to thank everyone for making the discussions here insightful, funny and interesting. I don't have that much to contribute to the discussions but I do enjoy reading them. I think it has made me a bigger Ichihime fan than when I first joined.

Wow, this is what happens when I go to a Pinoy party and not get to go online, I miss out on the new version opening. I'm confused, what happened, posts were deleted from the previous version after it hit a thousand or were they transfered over to the new version? That would be cool if any post past a thousand gets moved instead of deleted. I missed out on convos. BTW, is that a new rule that was established, delete posts after 1000 or is that something that was in the rules before. If it's new, was the IchiHime the guinea pig? Are all topics that hit 1000 going to be closed on time from now on with all posts deleted afterward? 'Cause it didn't used to be that way before, least not from other topics I've seen that have closed passed a thousand? Just curious.:headscratch

I'm wondering that too. The other IchixRuki FC's and the UlquixHime FC all have their total post counts over 1000 still. Like hali, I would have liked to have had at least ONE of our IchixHime FC's be one of the top 5 hottest threads that's shown on the main page of this board.

Anyway congrats to the new version and awesome banner, Lady O! People give me a heads up on the last topic of convo that was deleted so I can respond. The one I last posted in was about Orihime being a narrator. I did catch up on the other convos and totally enjoyed Starry's hysterical Wet Dreams fic (please finish it!) and Haliparot, it's not really M-rated, just implied not detailed so you should read it. It's cute!

LOL, didn't realize that number next to the name in the hotlist was the post count. Guess we'll never be on that list then. XD Not that it matters, who the heck cares about being on that list anyway. I hardly look at the standings 'cause it seems like it's the same folk except for the new members list. I'm more concerned about deleted posts 'cause the way we go through new topics like ADD ferets makes me annoyed I missed out on what you guys were talking about. That and all FC's treated equally.

I remember that people did say that Kubo doesn't get inspiration from Tanabata yet he does like Honey Clover or whatever that manga is so he's going to make Orihime an example of that manga, whatever that means. So much for being original indeed. But I have to say, every story will have the same elements especially if they are anything like the Hero's Journey based on Joseph Campbell. If I wasn't lazy, I'd do one on Ichigo and Orihime's journey. This arc does seem to focus on both of them dealing with their issues.

I think Space transferred them to the new version. There were some problems, though, like the thread starter (the post where Lady O has her awesome banner) being the fourth post, the first three having been occupied by Starry and mine's posts from the previous thread. When space tries to delete the first post, the whole thread disappears, so this is actually the fifth version (or at least, the fifth thread) for IchiHime.

And maybe Space transferred the posts because there were about 50 extra posts in the previous? I remember the number being 1049. Mine was the last in the previous thread.

Thanks for the heads-up regarding Starry's fic, by the way! I'll be sure to read it when she links it up again. *pokes Starry*

Hmm . . . I can understand if the argument is that the plot of the Tanabata won't be followed, but to deny Orihime's connection to the Tanabata is a serious case of denial, isn't it? It's not exactly a common name. And it's not like Orihime being good at sewing is totally separate from the weaver princess of the myth.

In terms of Honey and Clover, by the way, I think the character being compared to Orihime there is Ayumi Yamada. They look alike and both characters are completely immersed in their romantic love with another series character. There's a major difference between Ichigo and Mayama (Ayumi's target of affection), though.

It's funny how the focus is so much on Ichigo's sword that you can't help but think if the connotation. I like that ShiroIchigo is more aware of the power of the sword, he's able to swing it around and extend it and all that. Ichigo doesn't even know how to do that yet. He should take notes since ShiroIchigo lives on the pleasure principle after all. He wants Orihime for dinner, yeah!

LOL, just getting my kicks in before I plop down on my couch and watch Football. The Jets are playing the Buffalo Bills as I'm typing this so I'll be signing off soon. This is the second fourth version after all and the previous one already had 50 posts so my timing to introduce ShiroIchigo's more experienced ways when it comes to pleasuring Orihime is about right. :D

But yeah, Orihime is quite low in Ichigo's priority list. Orihime really is just there to heal her friends and then wave them off on their way back to the real world. So really, Ichigo didn't mean to save Orihime at all. He's just proving he's there to fight and also show Orihime she's just needed to make sure Rukia, Chad, Ishida and Renji as well as himself go back alive. They are what truly counts in his mind. She's meant to join Aizen and fight against Ichigo and co in the winter war. Then she'll die, confess Ichigo she loves him and he rejects her so Orihime lives up to the Unrequited part that Kubo got from Honey and Clover, right?

Thanks AGP for making that an avatar as well. Having Ulquiorra and Ichigo nosebleed over Orihime's boobs is just love. XD

It's the reason why he's trying his hardest to make sure Orihime becomes unlikeable as possible. The lower she is in the popularity poll, the easier for him to write her out of Bleach. Kubo does whatever fans tell him to do because it's the fans that write the story, not Kubo. :D

In all honesty, I really can't see Ichigo and Orihime getting down and dirty...at least not until they've been happily married for a while. They just seem to scream "awkward sex at first" to me. XD It's just soooo OOC for me to think of them that way right now at their age and I've read a lot of teen smut fics. o_O;;

So have I; Harry/Hermione, Draco/Hermione, InuYasha/Kagome, etc. But they were all of legal ages in the stories (16 and 18)

Have you read "Sick Days, Seven Nights", "Rumors", "Coming Undone", and "Smile" by Deathberry15? Seriously, it's the best tetralogy I've read...and the best Bleach IchixHime fan fics I've read so far (which is why they are so high in the FF section; it's a must read for any IchixHime fan) We get a great build-up to their relationship, so you really want them to be together in that way because it is one of the best ways to express and share your love.

But it's not smutty, so none of you might not want to read it :p But it's very sweet, and how I would imagine their first time.

I do have to say, though, that one of the reasons I rather read/view Ichigo/Orihime media in the "PG-13 or less"-sense is the fact that it's rooted in canon. With fanon pairings like Draco/Hermione (which I had been obsessed with in my HP-days), it takes a certain suspension of belief to think they'll be attracted to each other enough to want to be in a relationship, so thinking of them in a sexual relationship is easier as well. Them in a relationship is already OOC, so them having sex isn't that hard to imagine.

Ichigo/Orihime, though, is steeped in canon, so every time I see fics or art of them, I can't help imagining their canon selves. And as of now, I can't see Ichigo and Orihime in a sexual relationship. In a romantic one, that's easy enough, but not in a sexual one. They're 16! :eek:

That's real life :p If they were 11 or younger, that'd be another story, but 16 is actually the consenting age in a lot of countries. The age of consent for females is 16, but 18 under some circumstances; it's 13 to 17 for males, depending on jurisdictions.

I can see Ichigo and Orihime being in a sexual relationship...maybe not right after the HM arc, but mostly likely before they turn 18. Sex isn't a bad thing, especially if you are with the person you most want to be with for the rest of your life. It makes you feel happy, and it makes you feel you are loved. You are connecting to your soul mate, your one true love (for Five Lifetimes) physically, emotionally, and spirituality. Making love is also how you "bear the fruit of your love".

Making love is a beautiful thing. It's too bad that we might not get to see in the future whether ot not Ichigo and Orihime had kidsm j

Right. I agree. But you're comparing them to real teenagers, whereas I'm comparing them to Ichigo and Orihime in the Bleach storyline. Orihime spewed out her drink when Tatsuki pointed it out and I don't think Ichigo even thinks of stuff like that (which is, admittedly, uncommon with his age, but that's how his character is). This is why I can't see them in a sexual relationship.

LOL! I can read non-descriptive smut of them, but that's it. I can tolerate M-rated stories with my fanon pairings, though. Grimmjow/Orihime media are mostly mature-rated and I can read them fine (well, some of them)

As I pointed out to Rain, that's the difference that I'm talking about, heh, heh. I'm not saying Ichigo can't be like that, though. Maybe he's a late bloomer or something. :p

And as I said, their future selves is a different matter. Orihime seems more sexually aware, at least, being that she's tried to kiss Ichigo before. Ichigo . . . well, he has seen Yoruichi naked and if the Bleach Beach omake is to be considered, he's not that naive. I just don't see either of their characters -- at this point in time, mind -- to be much into stuff like that, and since I'm imagining their canon selves in fanfics/fanart, it's harder for me to swallow.

For Renji, it isn't much of a stretch 'cause in the RenRuki pairing, he's the girl of the relationship (wears his heart on his muscled arms, has the long hair and wears it in a ponytail, likes showing cleavage). Kira in a nurse's outfit cracks me up 'cause he can pass for a nurse. Hisagi looks like an ugly girl and so does Ichigo. But LOL, Ichigo in a wedding dress is so cute! That's something Orihime can make him do. They like to role play in bed after all. :D

I know we joke about smut in this FC, but I sort of agree with Haliparot that it's harder to see them having sex right now because their canon relationship is so innocent and sweet. Their first time will be funny and awkward and poignant that's for sure. However, first time is it and then I'm sure Ichigo will get the hang of it especially once Orihime suggests they play characters and all. With her imagination, their lovemaking will be anything but routine. :D

Nothing compares to reading GrimmHime fics though in smut. Those come with their own pr0n soundtrack. XDDD *is shot*

How can you not talk about sex in that pairing (or any Grimm pairing or that matter)?

One of the reasons I like IchiHime is that teenage awkwardness that they both have. I can't image them even kissing for awhile without at least turning beet red. Especially given Ichigo's reaction to Rukia talking about kissing as just some kind of greeting and how angry he gets when Kon kisses Tatsuki and Orihime while in his body.

LOL, it was funny that Rukia mentioned how kissing is like a greeting. It is a more Western idea to be that open. I've always thought that Rukia's relationship with Renji is the most western because they are so comfortable with touching. That's why it was so interesting to see Ichigo invade Orihime's personal space like he did in chapter 286. I hope we'll get to see them be more comfortable with touching each other. Ichigo's broken the ice in that regard so I don't think he'll be shy about carrying her again later if he has to (or wants to). Ichigo initiating holding Orihime's hand will be huge though because it reminds us of Orihime holding his hand in chapter 237. Ichigo initiating a kiss is something I see him doing as well because it will be a response to Orihime's almost kiss in chapter 237 also.

It's a big step in their relationship...and while I think Orihime is sexually mature, I don't think Ichigo is XD Since I don't think Kubo is going to dwell into Ichigo and Orihime's sexual relationship at all in the story, I just have to go by what I've seen, what I've experienced, and what I've read in real life.

But what would you do if did have Ichigo and Orihime have sex after the winter war, or sometime soon after (after they had been dating and all)? Not really showi
