Aww poor Orihime. I am stunned that Ichigo called Yamomoto and asshole. THat was special. Ichigo's family looked so cute trying to cheer him up. (although 15 and bathing with Dad? God no!!) I am pleased for the ep previews too. I am a bit sda they did not show Uryuu contemplating rescuing Orihime himself. I loved that part of the manga.

Don't worry! That scene will probably be shown either next week or the week following. That actual scene in the manga didn't take place until chapter 241, and this episode was a combination of 238 and 239 ^_^

I think DB took a few liberties in translation - they have Ichigo saying "Orihime is my friend," when he clearly said "ore-tachi," referring to his group of comrades (-tachi) and not just himself (ore). It should have been "Orihime is our friend" - referring to himself, Rukia, Renji, and the absent Ishida and Chad, of course.

ROFL at Shinigami's Cup. I did not ever imagine I'd see Zaraki with shoujo color-bubbles and sparkles around him... Byakuya, it's been too long since Hisana died, hasn't it...

The short but sweet return and disaphearence of Byakuya. Can tell am happy but sad cause of that. The Shingami cup was priceless xD. I can see the Byakuya x Kenpachi FC sparking off.

I'm just glad the good ol' team is back together. It's been so freakin long. And this time around, they are all useful. rofl. The ending was very early bleach feel-ish. I liked it. :D Should be good times ahead, even with fillers eventually.

This episode is on my bad side really much. :/ Smack right after 141 and its gorgeous art and colours, the contrast of art quality is glaring. Cut the scene with Renji's hand on Rukia's shoulder AND made the Tatsuki-punching-Ichigo scene look real bad. Those are among my favourite scenes in the manga so I've been waiting for it to be animated. :yell

I agree with you, Furato. They're just gone OOC with Tatsuki in this episode.. What's about the tears? Tatsuki DID NOT cry in this scene! It's so wrong.. And that scream at the end? Looking as a crybaby.. that's not Tatsuki.

Being a Tatsuki fan, I'm so disappointed by this episode.

We can give episodes criteria for benchmarking like art, movement fluidity, colour, soundtrack, voice acting, script or pacing, but in the end 'good' is still a subjective, rather than factual, adjective. ;)
