In a nutshell, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai and (the last episode of) School Days were removed from the broadcast lineup a few days ago due to the axe murder of a man by his 16 year old daughter. School Days was removed due to the fact that the episode has a somewhat similar scene, and Higurashi Kai has been known to have similar scenes as well. No news yet on when (or if) the shows will return to broadcast.

It's really sad when something like this happens. I understand why the stations would do this, but I'm still really disappointed that things like this happen.

. One possible ray of hope lies with AT-X, which the article claims is still considering showing the finale on September 27th since they do R-15 airings.

It is supposed to air tonight at 9:30 pm then again on Sunday at midnight

Well, I hope so. I want to see the finale of School Days. Also, I heard there was another axe attack in Japan by a teenage boy, so yeah.

They like, made us watch NICE BOAT because of that. :/

Yea, I heard about this on RC. I completely understand why they would take the showing off after something like this. So it's not even close to not be justicied. But too many people are rabid for School Days and now won't get to see the end and are pissed off. Sucks for them.
