We all know that the Nintendo DS is popular in Japan, as are character designs from Akira Toriyama of Dragon Ball Z fame. So why not combine the two? Following in the footsteps of another kid-friendly Xbox 360 title that's being brought to Nintendo's handheld, Japanese magazine Jump has revealed that Blue Dragon is on the way, courtesy of Jeux France.
Details are sparse right now, with no screens or artwork to speak of. There's only text that announces the upcoming game, accompanied by a look at a separate collectible card game that will be hitting Japan as well. We'll have to wait and see if this game will be an attempted port with downgraded graphics, or only a spiritual successor.
