Questions from Artists

I often have a question on official coloring of characters and I can't find the answers even on Wikipedia. I bet there is someone on here that knows the answer though! XD So I thought I would start a thread. That way if any other artists (and I know there are a lot on here XD) have questions about characters' colors or really anything and they can't find the answers, then this is the place to go! XD Everyone feel free to use this thread!

My question for today...what color are Byakuya's eyes officially (by that I mean what color does Kubo say they are)? They look grey in the anime, but I have also seen them colored violet...so which is it? XD

Kubo colors them a greyish purple when Ichigo goes Ban Kai so I's assume that is the official color

well, since that question is answered... xD

i usually pick my colors based off of whats in the anime when i do fanart. i find thats the colorations most people are used to seeing since most people watch the anime rather than reading the manga... and sometimes, with minor characters, you have to guess when the only pictures of them are black and white in the manga XP

I just use whatever colors look the best to me, but the anime gets most colors right (or at least semi-right) the biggest one i notice is orihimes eye-color

Yeah I get confused on Grimmjow's hair a lot. I want to use a blue/green or a kinda dark turquoise but the anime shows his hair as a really light blue. I wanna know what it is in the manga >__>

Its icy blue, check the color spread for chapter 270

Well I've only seen him colored a few times..
The spread with Wonderweiss and Ulquiorra for chapter 232, the Espada spread fro 270 and another chapter with color pages that I cant recall...Thay all had his hair, eyes, and markings an Icy blue color, so I dont think its ever been officially turquoise :p

Kubo changes things sometimes, Ulquiorra's eye marks were black at one time, now they are a medium pale blueish color
