Now as a shooter, it's not one of the top, but my little brother loves it. I'm getting him the game, probably with the Halo3 Edition Xbox. What are your thoughts on the game? Go ahead and discuss it here =) Let everyone know. Personally, I'm not expecting any more from this game than Halo 2 and Halo had to offer. I've always been a PC Shooter, such as the UT series, CS, MOH: AA and many more. Although, Halo 3 is a great game to play with your little siblings, especially if they are under 10 :p

Yeah, that's going to be the scene across campuses all across the nation. Wednesday will be filled with chatter of guys talking about Halo 3, and girls being all like, "Hey, why is everyone talking about Halo 3?"

It's going to be SOOOOO epic, holy crap. We're still trying to figure out how to pre-order it...we're moving and we don't want to have to wait for them to ship it to us...so it's going to be difficult. XD
Why don't you just call the local "GameStop" or game store near the college and reserve it over the phone? Aren't there online reservations too?

1 more week left guys! Woooh can't wait XD I ended buying the Elite version of the 360 instead, the Halo edition isn't worth it. For 50 dollars more you get the HDMI cable, and 100 gig more memory :eek: If the Halo edition came with 100 gig more, I would've bought that. Although I'm very satisfied with the Elite :D

all my guy friends atm work for Game Crazy, and this got this huge banner hanging up of master chief with sunrise thats about 7 ft long and was about to fight them over it but...i didnt win...hmph
im getting the special edition because i prefer that, and i also got all the slurpees from 7eleven and bought the game fuel, oh and my friend nick is going to a game convention thingy to bring me more goodies and ok i stop sorry im just so excited :D oh and did you know the first person to beat halo 3 is a asian chick, the executive editor of xbox magazine i think? hmm ...anyways i hope if ever the movie is out that its ausome:D

i forgot to mention i ordered both the Legendary Edition and the Halo 3 Edition Xbox 360 last Thursday
so yeah, $510 bucks total. But oh so totally worth it in the end. :D

THe packaging's messed up, so when a bunch of people opened their cases, they found their CD's all scratched up. Basically unplayable.

easy, normal, heroic, legendary?
i started with heroic, im obessed with the sniper weapons, i love killing in one or two shots :yay also obessed with the theatre section and taking screenies and pausing to see what i killed accurately lol...
Anyhow its so much fun for those who has not played it or thinking of getting it, you wont regret it...well maybe if your not big on shooters u may not but its still extremely fun.
I have yet to be online with mine, i had to change my ip addie and it fudged up my dang wireless connection to xbox live:cry too lazy to mess with it after trying for about 5hrs...ill get it eventually.

I'm going to start off with Heroic as well, once I start this weekend :nuts I had a chance to try out the LIVE, and it was awesome! :D Getting adjusted to the new controls, might just switch it around a little.
Did you fix Live yet? I'm itching to shoot you XD
Is the ending in Legendary different from the rest?

I started on easy :D I SAID IT!!! I just wanted to get the story over with with all the temptation of all the spoilers out there. Don't think it was quite as good as Halo 2 but it was a very close call. I tried the wasteland mission on legendary...5 seconds later I get stuck by a grenade...>_<
I just rented the game tho, $60-$70 I do not have right now, lol. I liked the forge mode. That was a good idea. I like putting a bunch of explosives in a big pile and then staning in the middle of them and shooting a rocket or laser :D Now THATS a screenshot! Thats a good feature to, the playback. You can see yourself blowing up a flood with a rocket in slo mo XDD
All in all its a good game...BTW I found a little surprise on the last level. Ill put it in a spoiler.
On the last level on playback mode, right before you get make the jump onto the ship, pause the footage. Facing out of the rear of the ship hanger go to the wall on the left of the screen. On the cliff there should be a little Grunt. I guess the programmers put stuff like that in so you can get kickass screenshots XD

Oh man really? My little brother told me somebody was making fun of him because of the tag "Incredible Load" , they weren't making fun of him though, they were probably making a perverted joke like everyone else does :rotflmao Told him to mute them if it happens again.
As for the game, it's going good so far. I haven't played it since last Sunday, but I might give it a go this Sunday =) I'll txt you on LIVE Ulqui ;D

Ah I know how you feel ulquiorra, I my self and a sergeant class three and all my friends play for nine hours a day so there like captians now <<

I became Captain not too long ago... I have the Hayabusa mask too but a lot of people use it so I am using the E.O.D. mask... I see you have the Brute Shot on your back, my favorite weapon.

Or would I simply go up to Captain Second Grade as per normal?

if you're skill 35, then you have to get up to 300 xp to become Commander. you skip grade 3 and 4 of Major though if you do that.

Bullets > Hammer... Hammer is only at its best when your camo, even if you have it strapped to your back its like a hammer beacon, showing everyone who has its and to back away...
My 3 favorites the Brute Shot, Needler, and the Carbine is good.
And I'm a sticky expert :D
