Crayon Shin Chan I could not watch all the few episode I watched yes its funny . Other really funny shows out there

5) :D 25 year old university dropout, must be fun acting clumsy and stupid like he does, but still end up improving stuff^^



Well for live action, is suppose Shaolin Soccer is one of my favorits for humor

Hmm, let me see if i can add to this list a little.

Cromartie High School - Delinquents, a robot, a gorilla and freddy mercury in school, what more can you ask for.

Yakitate Japan - Bread never tasted this funny, I nearly choked on my coke while watching this show.

School Rumble - And you thought the comedy was totally random in this show, let me warn you that everything is throughly planned out X__X

Well for live action, is suppose Shaolin Soccer is one of my favorits for humor

1) There is ecchi and fanservice but if you take that out its pure humor . They havnt used ecchi as the main showcase, humor goes hand in hand with the ecchi . But the OVA == Porno -Bleh-

2) Ecchi irritated me to no avail . The Higlight was I will Rock your World but after that episode series goes downhill

3) I have some complaints the major one is Masa San >.< He frigging makes guest appearances now

4) One show which balances ecchi and comedy

5) Too much fanservice hilarious none the less

^^' Guess the age is what made me accept some fanservice.


Well back to the humor part:
Ice Age 1 gotta be one of the best for humor.(2 had more humor but less quallity humor imo)

I don't mind some fanservice, yet there's series that get way to disturbing.
^^' Guess the age is what made me accept some fanservice.

Though I enjoy comedy /ecchi shows I dislike ecchi in general so I grow vary if the fan service is unwarranted or uncalled for . That’s one of the reasons I didn't mention Futari Ecchi ^^ .


Gintama: Also very Funny, but some japanese humor is required to understand all of the jokes.

I have heard about this show a lot I am going to watch it in the holidays

Full Metal Panic FTW! That anime is like crack incarnate sometimes. ^^

A funny live action show (though it's NOT supposed to be funny) is Kamen Rider Kabuto (yay, sentai series!). There's fighting in it, a plot, etc. but it doesn't really take itself too seriously either. Especially the filler episodes; that had me going "WTF that's so cheesy!" so many times. :D

FMP Fumoffu was absolutely killer for me. The funniest thing I've watched to date. Every single episode was just gahahahahahahha XDDDDDDDD.

Uni mentioned the rugby training previous. The art day and getting in touch with nature:p.

No one thought Ouran was funny? I thought it was hilarious as well. I need to re-watch some of these things! I'm forgetting all the good bits.

Gintama for anime. The humour is so... random. Well what else do you expect from a comic written by a gorilla?

Nodame Cantabile for live action. Exaggerated manga things like blushing, punching people to the sky or being a dog-eared girl look more ridiculous when real people do it. Awesome actors.


One Piece - I find I just laugh a lot in OP even though it's not really a comedy.Hmm, but I always thought of OP as first a gag series, then adventure. It's really good at not taking itself seriously, which is one of the reasons it's so lovable.

Nadesico (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nadesico) and Mahoromatic (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mahoromatic) deserve a special mention both are shonen/comedies . While Nedesico is a parody of all mechas mahormoatic deals with Robot maid and aboy . How together they end up saving the world

Mahoromatic the characters are hilarious and feel real same cannot be said for Nadesico as they are parodies of other characters

Also note Mahoromatic is somewhat of reverse FMP

- Nagasarete Airantou (not as funny as the manga, but still funny)

I never finished Abenobashi Mahou Shotengai, but I saw the first 4 episodes and it was hilarious XD I love the references it uses to different anime, games, and fictional characters. It mainly revolves around the anime & games from what I've seen thus far, but it's hilarious none the less.
Golden Boy also, who doesn't love an ecchi comedy with lots of fan service, right Geta Boshi? XD
School Rumble was more of a cute & silly comedy, enjoyable only if you get into it.

I need to start watching Great Teacher Onizuka, based on the first episode it was hilarious :3

Yamato nadeshiko shichi henge (Perfect Girl Evolution) - It's the girl from the ring in a comedy :)

Seto no Hanayome - :lmao I love all the spoofs, especially the terminator one. I laughed that entire episode.

Azumanga Daioh - Osaka, Tomo and Kurosawa-sensi make this show one of the funniest i've yet to watch.

School Rumble - one of the first romance/comedy animes i delved into(put off for quite a long time >_>) and ended up being a laugh riot.

Excel Saga - only show that has the main character kill the creator of the show in one of the first episodes :lmao

Pani Poni Dash - 10 year old teacher, crazy incho, even crazier plot.

Great Teacher Onizuka - it's GTO man :) Episode 26!

Yakitake Japan - a show about bread...

Hayate no Gotoku - :lmao pokes fun at just about every popular anime

Kyou no Go no Ni - OK it's not a series, it's a bunch of OVAs but it's absolutely hilarious.

Ichigo 100% - first Ecchi comedy I watched. Couldn't help myself but laugh at the ridiculous amount of raunchiness(which I later found out was only the tip of the iceberg in the story itself, as well as other animes :lmao)

May not count- one commentary for a dub episode of YuYu Hakusho had each main character voice a different character, I couldn't stop laughing.

Most of the manga/anime i've seen are humorous at times. Example, Rurouni Kenshin, Naruto and Bleach. But if i have to choose a truly comedic one, i'd choose Ranma 1/2. The funny poses and angles, and jokes are just too funny and I can appreciate this kind of humour. XD

As for FLCL, am I the only one here that didn't get it? I swear I had to surf the net for episode summaries to get the gist of what was happening. :3 Best thing about FLCL was the soundtrack. <333 the OST.

FLCL is a good show to know what is going to happen before you watch it, not so that it is spoiled, but so that you actually have a chance of understanding it. lol. If that is done and you know what you are actually seeing, it is quite easy to understand. :D I can explain it pretty well now after seeing the whole thing at least 10 times. lmao.
