Rules

1. If you do not like a pairing DO NOT post in that pairing FC. If you read the fanclub and want to discuss something that was said then sort it out via PM or elsewhere, do NOT go into that fanclub and start a war. Anyone posting in a pairing fanclub that isn't a fan will almost automatically recieve a ban.

2. Try not to discuss other pairings unless it is absolutely necessary.

3. You can discuss other pairings but when others discuss your pairing negatively and you don't like it sort it out through pm, if you break the above rule to start a flame war it's an instant ban.

4. Neg reps to rival pairing fc posts over such things won't be tolerated. I consider this being in an FC of a pairing you don't like therefore breaking a rule.

5. I'd suggest just totally not reading the fc of the pairing you don't like but I know that is never gonna happen. You all wanna be able to talk about other pairings so much well fine but just be prepared for others to do it about your favourite pairing also.

6. At this point in time any pairing/ship/ship wars issues will be dealt with by: spacecat. So please contact spacecat if there is a problem and not another mod.

7. Many members of both the IchixHime and IchixRuki FC's have decided that all such anti/offensive sigs and avas will be removed and will not be used here anymore. I loved the extra scenes the anime added. Ichigo pretty much adopted Nel straight away and it was great seeing him dust the sand off her. This makes them have one weird relation ship, when Nel's a child, he's daddy/big bro and when Nel's an adult he's her play thing.

With my first post on this message board, I'd like to request entrance to this FC. :D

Bleach had gotten stale to me, and I took a big long break off from it. I came back and found Nel, and she has helped rekindle my love for the series. Characters like her are what truly bring the series to life, and her interaction with Ichigo is constantly entertaining.

Before Nel, I was in the IchiRuki corner, but I found that I began to like Rukia less as the series progressed. I'm not sure if it's because Kubo began to characterize her differently as he moved along or if my perceptions changed.

Then along comes Nel, a spirited, bouncy girl who has deep affection for Ichigo and isn't afraid to show it. And then it turns out she's smokin' hot. What could be better than that? :D

And to top it all off, her being an Arrancar serves as a perfect complement to Ichigo (who is either Vizard, Arrancar, or a perfect blend... I don't know if anybody ever figured that one out for sure). Sounds like a match made in heaven to me.

Sadly... I highly doubt Kubo plans anything with the future of these two, despite the fact that she's the only character who really makes sense with Ichigo, in my opinion. Oh well. I can hope and dream that at the conclusion of the series, he at least leaves it open ended.

I have in mind an idea for a fanfiction with IchiNel as an important dynamic. There's almost no chance of busy college life allowing me time to write it, but I did write a very short scene that takes place somewhere in the middle.:D

EDIT: Decided I should add this in here so nobody would get confused. Have knowledge of a few things:

1. By the end of the Hueco Mundo arc, Ichigo receives a substantial power upgrade (cause that's just how anime works).
2. Aizen and the Espada have either been killed or are no longer a threat.
3. Nel's normal form is Neriel.
4. Orihime works with SS (works with, doesn't live there).

These things are either assumed from the unfinished Hueco Mundo arc or would have been explained in the fic.

Nel stirred as she heard a light knock on the door, followed by a quiet ‘click’ as it quietly slid open.

It was still dark in the room. She couldn’t have been asleep for more than an hour or two. Who would be entering the room at a time like this? But she didn’t sense a threatening reiatsu, and she had more important things to worry about than determining the identity of whoever it was standing under the archway.

Nel gazed down at the body beneath her, and through the blackness she was disappointed to find that Ichigo’s injuries had, at best, healed only marginally. She frowned at this discovery despite the fact that she knew he was in no immediate danger. Surely some healer would eventually make their way to Ichigo and finish the rush job that had been emergency administered earlier. Perhaps that’s what the person at the door was for.

Excited at the prospect, Nel peered across the room but couldn’t help letting her spirit deflate slightly upon the realization that it was only Ichigo’s father.

“Hi,” Nel greeted softly as she presented an obviously forced smile.

“How’s he doing?” said Isshin with just a hint of concern in his voice.

“About the same… maybe a little better.”

“Some people from Soul Society are supposed to be coming. Ichigo’s stable, so he’s probably near the bottom of their list. We were lucky Ichigo got there first. It would have been a lot worse if he hadn’t caught wind of it. We’d probably all be dead.”

Nel nodded sadly. She knew it was true. If Ichigo hadn’t intercepted, there’s no telling who would have been killed before enough people noticed the strangely hidden reiatsu spike. But that didn’t stop her from being torn up inside to see him so hurt.

“You knew what I was the whole time, didn’t you?” Nel questioned Isshin, changing the subject while keeping her voice low. She knew that Ichigo was very unlikely to be woken, but it still felt improper to speak in full voice.

“I’ve known about you since you’ve known about me,” Isshin returned.

“So the whole time, then.”

“I’m kind of surprised Ichigo still hasn’t figured out that I’m a shinigami,” Ichigo’s father remarked with a wry grin on his face.

“Well, Ichigo is kind of dense…” Nel remarked amusedly.

Isshin laughed under his breath. “So you’ve noticed?”

Nel smiled. “He has other qualities to make up for it.”

“You love him.”

Nel nodded.

Isshin then met Nel’s gaze for the first time since he’d entered the room. “Take care of him. With as much trouble as he gets into, he needs someone who can protect him every once and a while.”

Nel smiled again as Isshin turned and left the room, closing the door behind him as quietly as he’d entered. She put her head back down on Ichigo’s chest and began to trace small circles on his skin with her index finger. Nel felt her head rise and fall ever so slightly with each breath he took, and for some reason that little, inconsequential fact made her happy. Or maybe that delight was just the residual effect of hearing her love for Ichigo spoken aloud, regardless of the fact that it hadn’t been her or Ichigo that had spoken it.

“Don’t worry, Ichigo. I will take care of you. Forever, if you’ll let me…”

Can I join? I only really like pairing up Ichigo with Nel these days. She just seems to have an effect on him that no one else has ever quite had before, and that's what makes me think she's extra special to him. And, I find they are just alike because, even though they started from opposite ends of the spectrum (Ichigo=shinigami & Nel=hollow), they ended up meeting in the middle and are now pretty much the same beings!

Plus, she just loves Ichigo SO much and loves to show him that even more (fangirl!). He needs that, I think...;)

same goes here but I think every woman exept Orihime had a major effect in his life.
First Tatsuki who was (maybe still is:headscratch) his best friend. These two really have an unique bond; Ichigo is quitethe only man she respects and Tatskuki helped him through when his mother died.
Then there is Rukia who rocked his life totaly^^. She showed her that there is a different world and helped avange his mother (or at least deal with her lose), in retun he saved her life.
At last (but not least) we have Nel. She is the living example that not all hollows are bad. For me it is a mirical that Ichigo doesn't hunt down every hollow he sees after his mom died, but I guess he isn't the Sasuke-type of guy. But what puzzeled me even more was that he practicle adopted Nel the moment he saw her and risked his life for her sake. Some might say that was because of the baby look but even after she turned all busty and smexy he still had the same attitude as he had before (with the little 'WTFmoment' as exeption^^)

I guess I got a litlle off-topic (did we have one^^?)

I'm surprised no one's mentioned that Nel helped show Ichigo that it's okay to be protected sometimes. She didn't really need his help when fighting Nnoitra, and I think that showed him that people CAN stand up for themselves without his help. :p

I guess Nel will stay as a kid for quite a while now, because it would be lame if she could shapeshift. Didn't Neliel act more like little!Nel when she was around Ichigo, though? It was like little!Nel in big!Nel's body, all cuddles and hugs. :D

I was a bit disappointed I was wrong though... I was certain that Orihime's healing would have changed her back into big!Nel. :(

Ninira- thats a good point, nels personality never really changed, she still acted like a kid even in her adult form

and i wish orihimes healing ability would have healed the fracture in her mask so she could become adult nel again, but maybe she can transform at will now

There were some other cute little!Nell x Ichi fanarts, but I didn't link to them since I see the little!Nel x Ichigo dynamic as more a father/daughter or big brother/lil sister relationship. :o There were a ton of super cute ones that I did link (glad I got the pleasure! :D) but I think my favorite IchiNel pic will always be the one Cezaria drew and colored. Her art is so beautiful, I'm sad she's not a fan of my OTP. XD

lol that's true. Most people prefer AdultNel x Ichi because it's more pleasing to see in a pairing, makes more sense, makes it easier to make intimate moments between the two for fanfic and arts alike and besides if the relationship with LittleNel was anything other than a father/daughter brother/baby sister relationship, it woudn't be as cute as it is! So AdultNelIchi for romance, and LittleNelIchi for humour, cutness!

hmmm... well so far nel has been hystaricle no matter what form she's in

for humor: the scene when shes a child n gets snot al over ichigo while he yells lmao... r when she glares at rukia on bawabawa.

but in ep. 192 when she cries "itsygo" as his arms broken, idk how they did that so well.

all time fave though would be when orihime gets her healin rejected while ichigo stares at neliel. and then nel hugs ichigo hopefully showing more than just frienly affections "fingers crossed".
