Today I was forced by bloody msn to install Live messenger...I started it up and signed in ok...but as soon as it lists the messages in my inbox, it disappears from the screen. I then try to click on the little green icon at the bottom of my screen, but as my cursor approaches the icon it disapeers. Le program just shuts down like two seconds after Ive signed in.
Any help would be greatly appreciated D:

MSN seems to hate me, I always get the common error pop ups, and usually the troubleshooting function doesn't work. I'm at the airport now and for some reason it has a new message for me today! o-o It said my 'default gateway is offline'. :\
Has anyone encountered this before? I have 3 more hours before I board and I'm kinda bored.

For both issues, Planes and Ileeka, have you tried re-installing?
Some of the troubleshooting processes go through deleting all of your contact data and other MSN files stored on the computer and clearing the settings. Once you sign in again its supposed to help but who knows with Windows ><!

Ah, thanks but the issue fixed itself, I think it is the airport server that was messing things up. I tried going on forums to find fixes, tried everything but none worked. Then I got disconnected completely. So much for all of that. :P

Reingstalling will probably fix it.
As for me, I've had trouble with it too. From time to time it won't receive offline messages. Two months ago I had this horrible problem for a whole day... it wouldn't send any message if I wouldn't retry like 10 times. I had to try almost each version to find one which delivered messages.
