Ahh just finished watching the raw, and I must say it's a good ep. The Hirako fight was nice and the Arankaru Daihaku at the end one of the best.

@riekie: Huh, doesn't want to download? The princip is, the more you upload the more download you get. I'm upping with 60 k/s, that's enough to get the max. speed which was about 200 k/s in that case.

Just finished watching the RAW ^^

Brilliant episode! I thought it was well done actually...Although the animation wasn't omgggggroflfffzomg!!11 style like 121 its still really good :)

I LOVED the part with the Thousand Year Prison...was looking forward to how that would be animated, and it just looked so damn bad-ass.

Hirako was awesome. Liked his music, even if it did maybe sound a little too joyfull and getting rid of some of the tension...Was still cool ^^

And I genuinely laughed my ass off out loud at the beginning of the Arankaru Daihyaka XD I very rarely do that...

Argh, that was the only part I didn't like in the Anime. It came out too slow and too big for my taste and Toushi pronounced the Sennen Hyourou like a snail. But I'll stop criticizing this ep, cause the rest was great done.

Ok i've just downloaded and seen the episode, it's great to see that good animation/draw are back on road, it makes judge with 121 (so far the best animated/draw episode until now imo). I was looking forward for Ulquiorra apperance and it was just awesomely made up from the manga.
The only thing that i didn't enjoyed until his max was the choice of BGM on Shinji Vs Grimmjow, i felt like it didn't fit with the atmosphere at that moment.

At last Arankaru Daihyaka was great and so far one of my favourites, but nothing competes against Byakuya's smile on renji's joke. :D

I hope they keep up this animation pace.

Drop dead smexy episode, from start to finish. Is it really that difficult to ask for this level on a weekly basis. Though granted, this weeks episode was at the high point, so other episodes are not so lucky.

I was expecting to see the waves of Rukia's shikia for some reason and was disappointed when I didn't. ha. But thinking back on the manga, we didn't see them there so, it's all good.

If only we could have this kind of quality every week, ne? I wish the Ichi/Grimm fight pt.2 was handled like this, as well as Black/White Inner Hollow battle, as well as outer. This episode was hotness all over the place, I loved it, and if ONLY all the fights could be as energized as Shinji/Grimm. Kick.Ass.

DB messed up the translation on one part. For "kishire" (which I think means "grind"?) they translated as "die". :P

lol, messed another trans? I remember after Ichigo stabbed Shirosaki, instead of 'tch', they "translated" that as 'die' lol. And yet again, I suppose, they're mistranslated something to die xD Sloppiness on the part of the TLer and editor to let that slip by. It's a big phrase, too, Grimmjow's release, not like some minor sentence slipup, either. Oh well, I guess that's what happens when you speed sub. Bless them for doing so ^^

Well the pace was ok, still they show to little.
A typical bleach anime ep, nothing compared to the manga :-(
The times i prefeer bleach is when it takes place at night(colors way better) and they takes there time.
In other words ep 16-17 & ep 118-119 are the best episodes of bleach imo.

I thought that this ep was really good, and I was so excited to see Rukia's Hakuren, they did a beautiful job on that

I think the timing of everything was just fine, at least they didn't use 3 whole chapters for this ep like they did last week. People complain when too much is put into the ep, people complain when there isn't 'enough' put into the ep. Guess there's no satisfying some people

I liked the episode. I liked how they animated Rukia's haruken and the music they gave both her and Shinji and I liked the note that it ended on. Again, no preview for next episode but that's okay, that's the one I've been waiting a long time for. :D

Music was kinda funky for Hirako's entrance but it grows on you after a while. Gotta be a favorite of mine, maybe cause Hirako's one of my favorite characters :).

Awesome animation, definitely wish they could do this for more episodes, but at least they put time into most episodes that involve heavy fighting.

The manga excels in it's own points, while the anime, when even half decent, excels in points that the manga can not, like music, voices, animation, ect. When we get awesome episodes like these, I think they way surpass the manga.

Well, that's because there weren't any in the manga version. At least, they were never shown. There were a couple of moments, if I recall correctly, where people had made good points that they were there, but they weren't in the panels. For sure in the anime, they aren't, with all the much wider scenes. I guess they had a choice, put them in where they are not sure they are, or just leave them out. I think they made the right choice.

By the way, hitsu's bankai has never looked better then in this episode. Made me so happy. XD

Shinji's music was crazy it seemed like they were trying to fit in all the new songs for his battle or amap. They also did a good job gluing some pieces together that they didn't have time to go over in the manga. Like how Matsumoto managed to get caught again.
its always surprising that poor Yammy didn't feel the need to release.

@guildenstern- DB also screwed up Hitsugaya's "8's not enough" line. sheesh the one time he makes a joke.

Oh yeah, agree with you there! This time around, bankai Hyourinmaru looks stunning! The Ice Prison move looks pretty cool as well.

This is a Bleach Ep. 140. It is made of both win and fail.

Win: Hitsugaya's bankai, Luppi's crazy-ass voice acting, music, sound FX.
Fail: Removing Shinji's "Friend of the enviroment" line, not having Grimmjow start Resurreccion, the sequence with Grimmjow nearly cero-ing Rukia's head off.

On the one hand, HEL YEH, Hitsugaya's bankai! Urahara being a weirdo! Violin disco inferno!
On the other hand....way to ruin a good scene with Rukia, no awesome Shinji lines and no "Growl--!"

Actually, Grimm did start to release. But DB messed up the phrase "kishire" and translated it as "die".

Same goes for the "friend of the environment" line, DB doesnt exactly use direct translations. They tweak the lines to their liking a bit, something Ive noticed over the time.

i disagree, i think the manga will always be better. Animation can only be so good compared to the real art.

anyways, this episode was pretty good still. Definitely liked the animation. The music was alright as well.

Yes the manga is heavily stylised. Kubo's really gotten a style that makes the Manga and action just feel awesome.

But I will argue when the anime puts forth the effort like it did this one, Shirosaki fight and Episode 121 they do awesome. It's simply the other times they kinda half ass it. It'd be nice to see a bit more consistency for the less pivotal episodes.

BTW my favorite part was Hirako's entrance. Sure Hitsugaya's thousand year prison rocked and they did a wonderful job with animating it. But Hirako's intervention was a pleasant surprise in the manga and he really kicked ass in his debut fight. Like I said, the music's kind of off putting at first but it seems to really fit him once you watch it again.

I just saw the sub. Damn that was awesome. I love the entrance music for both Shinji and Rukia. They animated Rukia's Shikai beautifully. I loved Hitsugaya's Bankai, and I liked his 8 wasn't enough joke. (What is the joke literally? I don't think it really lost anything in translation) Wonderwice is sooo cute.

LOVED the music in this one! XD I really like Bleach music for the most part. XD Awesome episode in my opinion...I've watched it a couple of times. Yammi and Urahara were just awesome! Grimmjow made me sw00n for him in this episode and I am not even a fangirl of his! XD Hirako was awesome as well, but we already knew this! Oh and I love Luppi's voice SO much! Like when he tells Hitsugaya next they meet he'll tear off his puny head...AWESOME! XD And Ulqui actually looked good in this one in my opinion...I sw00ned when he said my fav line of his EVER! XD
