I know there are a few spoilers around but those are fake so let's wait for some confirmed one's ok (yeah i know about that brother&sister thing on 2ch claiming nell and nnoitra are siblings but someone has posted a summary with a title for the last few weeks all fake and i am pretty sure its the same guy so im thinking for now its too unreliable to bother with, not to mention if that's true its so hella lame). :)

Bleach 291- Thank You For Defend Me

The chapter begins with Nel who has changed back to her real form. Now her reiatsu is so high that both Dondo and Pesshe notice it. They look at each other and that makes Ishida asked Pesshe what is wrong but he ignores Ishida and keeps looking at Nel’s direction. Pesshe’s eye glows and he mumbles as if he’s thinking about something, “I miss this….this reiatsu. There is no mistake, this is ‘Nel-sama’s’ reiatsu.

Scene cuts back to Ichigo and Orihime who are looking stunted at Nel but Nnoitora and Tesla look as if nothing happen. Nnitora let go of Ichigo and stares at Nel, “You’re back, Neliel?” But she doesn’t reply and instantly moves behind Nnoitora. Before he could do anything she disappears again however this time behind Nnoitota, he sees Nel holding Ichigo in her arms and that pisses Nnoitora off.

Ichigo asks her if she’s really Nel. She looks at him and smiles, “Yes. Because of Ichigo I could return to my real body…because Ichigo protects me in my child form and brings me here.” She continues, “So, you have to watch. I’ll repay you now.” Nel lays Ichigo down gently and stands up with zampakouto in her hand. Ichigo protests when he realizes that she’s going to fight Nnoitora. Nel looks back at him and smiles shyly before replies, “Don’t worry.”

The wind blows and her back is shown to Ichigo with a tattoo #3 on it. Ichigo looks surprised while Nel looks at him and continues to say, “It will be over soon.”

Now Nel turns her attention to Nnoitora and dashes out. Before Nnoitora could react she cuts his chest and it angers him. He throws the scythe at her but she kicks it and it makes Nnoitora lost his balance. Instantly, Nel kicks Nnitora’s neck and he falls. After regain his balance, Nnoitora opens his mouth to shoot cero at her. Once he did, Nel only need a hand to block his cero and opens her mouth to swallow a cero (like she did with Deldonii’s). Nnoitora freaks out, “Shi…” and before he could finish a word; Nel spews out a cero right back at him.

Note: In this Chapter, Nel doesn't talk like a child anymore.

Mhm, don´t know if this could mean for Ichigo and Orihime to leave the battle ground and finally head to Rukia and Chad to heal them eventually... :/
Ichigo surely won´t leave Nel´s side, and he´d first have to free Hime from Tesla´s grip, but that must be no prob for him. It´s actually THE opportunity for Ichigo to finally move on; if Nel really was a former 3rd Espada she should have no probs with Nnoitra... .__. (well, I don´t really expect much though....)

I expect that the battle will conclude next chapter with Nnoitra and Tesla retreating in some fashion. Otherwise Nnoitra will be forced to release, which would extend the battle much more and probably lead to Nnoitra's total defeat; also, Nel would probably end up showing too much of her power. The next two chapters should end the battle, allow Ichigo and co. to escape and head towards the wounded, and switch back to the end of the Szayeloporro fight.

Hou...Nel and Noitra fight. That should be interesting. Former no.3. I agree, now would be the perfect time for ichigo to grab orihime and escape, but knowing ichigo, he might not want to leave Nell behind, unless Nell asked him to.

I'm sure that Ichigo has no intention of leaving while Nel is still fighting. Fortunately, I doubt that the battle will last much longer as Nel has a clear advantage since she was the Tercera Espada. Also, Halibel is probably only the Septima Espada, as it seems unlikely that two females occupied the top four ranks; Halibel being seventh would explain why she hasn't intervened at all.

If Nell really is the former Third Espada then wow! Nnoitra has almost no chance of victory here unless he uses the same underhanded tactics as before.

It's possible that he was her fraccione and defeating her in combat (or attacking her from behind while she was distracted) elevated him to fifth.

Well it does seem to say Nell was 3 but I can't tell for sure with Hima's spoiler so meh if you look how I worded it, i didn't confirm it so no blaming me if it's not how it is. :p

Anyhow I am compiling a list of how Ichigo and gang could have easily snuck in, dealt with the espada, saved Inoue and left with ease, so far I have:

1. Get a few of those cube things that send a hollow to another dimension, you know like what Grim used on Ulq.

2. Walk up behind a strong ranked espada and crack them on the back of the head when they aren't looking/sleeping or whatever.

The list may or may not continue the sarcasm definitely will :p

wow interesting..... nell was number 3 until she got coldblooded ambushed by noi with improved stealth... so that means everyone below 3 was previously one rank higher than they currently are now (meaning ulqiurra use to be 5.. and Noi use to be 6 and so on.). At least thats what this means to me unless there was alot of replacements after nell left ..

how this looks to me ... former espada =\= privavon espada

so to me she was made by aizen, but just hit on the head by that .. ass. how noitora speaks about her it sounds like she might actually be a match for him. with that thought and the encounters we saw with the privavon. if she was number 3 at one point she sertainly couldnt have been a priva for they are weak . when grim was kicked out 6 was replaced and no numbers were exchanged.

it never said doldonni was number 3...i think 103 just meant he's the 3rd (or 4th) espada to be demoted. even if he was 3 it would be in an espada group b4 this one...

anyway the chapter seems ok...sometimes whe n it comes to naruto and bleach chapters, one is always on top for me for a while...bleachh has been ontop for a good while now lol, but i guess naruto is back on top.

i only think this cos bleach has just had fights, full stop (and i LOVE fighting...). but the plot just isn't moving quick enough for me...anyway i still love bleach.

if he wasnt an espada he should have been 3. but we cant presume you get to be espada just like captains do? if your weak it seems you just get replaced, if you get defeated you get replaced as well. so if he was an espada allready all he did was getting a spot free for another number 3.
it could mean why hes saying that all the top tiers didn't have to put their strenght to the test. we got one frustrating puppy here that does everything to get to his destination.

First of all they lose the mask which protects their naked instinct. Also it seems the hole on their chest moves after becoming Arrancar. Maybe signifying they have somewhat of a heart. And since they have unreleased form they don't use as much energy. So now they aren't always thinking about consuming people(losing instinct). Now when Grimmjow released he went back to his original form(except without the mask). Now he is consuming way more energy, which means he's going to get hungry faster and will have the mindset of kill kill kill, instead of,what is my next strategy? And in this process he's going to lose some reasoning and rely more on instincts now. So naturally he would fight differently released(With more instinct) then he would if he was fighting unreleased(With more reason).

So you're saying when hollows get scared they get stupid and when they release they get strong AND stupid? I don't buy it. To survive hollows have to eat other hollows but if they wanna snack in the living world, they've gotta fight shinigami too. They learned how to fight so why should they forget it? And really....What IS Nnoitra's excuse?

I never said when they get scared they get stupid. Though that actually makes sense. Since it's natural if you get scared/panicked you lose common sense. And I never said they got strong and stupid when they released. Nor did I say that they forget how to fight. They can't forget how to fight, that would be weird. I'm just saying they are using more of their instincts when they release. And since they lose more reason, they don't fight off these instincts. Is this a good or bad thing? Totally up to you, though it seems you already made up your mind and think it's a bad idea to fight with just instincts. Though one of the main points of this arc seems to be that Ichigo needs to rely more on his instincts. You don't have to buy it, but it's the truth.

I never said when they get scared they get stupid. Though that actually makes sense. Since it's natural if you get scared/panicked you lose common sense. And I never said they got strong and stupid when they released. Nor did I say that they forget how to fight. They can't forget how to fight, that would be weird. I'm just saying they are using more of their instincts when they release. And since they lose more reason, they don't fight off these instincts. Is this a good or bad thing? Totally up to you, though it seems you already made up your mind and think it's a bad idea to fight with just instincts. Though one of the main points of this arc seems to be that Ichigo needs to rely more on his instincts. You don't have to buy it, but it's the truth.

And I believe Ichigo was doing so much better in only bankai against an unreleased Grimmjow because he was finally losing some of chocolate as Dordonii would have put it. Chapter 193 - Ulquiorra: "How strange...the fluctuation of that brat's spiritual pressure increased. The range of fluctuation is amazing...At the lowest point, he is just trash...But at the highest point, he is above me...Where is the logic in this?"

If we assume that Ichigo was able to maintain close to highest amount of spiritual power in the later stages of the fight (It seems pretty clear that he wasn't at max), then Grimmjaw (#6) really isn't that much of a problem for Ichigo (As it is already stated that Ichigo is stronger than #4 Ulquiorra at his peak).

**As far as the chapter goes, the battle between Nel and Nnoitora won't be over just yet. I would say around a chapter or two after this one, either Nnoitora will be defeated, or he will find some means of escape before he is defeated (Ex. Tesla blocks the fatal blow to Nnoitora and escapes with him).

***With all the speculation about the original fight between Nnoitora and Nel, here's a scenario for you all:

After a fairly one-sided battle between Nnoitora and Nel (possibly for her Espada seat/ranking), Nel comes out on top. I'll drop my disappointment with the grimmjow fight and state this query: If Ichigo tapped into his hollow powers like his fellow vaizards somehow then how much of a powerup will he need, provided he is destined as the main character to defeat Aizen Sosuke, or at the very least Espada number one? Also, what nature will this powerup take if he is near his peak? and if there is to be another arc, with another enemy, how will Ichigo Kurosaki deal with that, assuming he's no Son Goku?


But back on topic again: I doubt Nel will kill Nnoitra...These next chapters present the opportunity to twist the non plot of this arc in unexpected ways. Assuming Nel doesnt simply fight Nnoitra, let Ichigo escape and/or fight and get healed by Orihime.

It wasn't plotkai. Hollows rely on instincts. When a hollow becomes an Arrancar they seem to lose some of their instincts and gain more reason. Why is this? First of all they lose the mask which protects their naked instinct. Also it seems the hole on their chest moves after becoming Arrancar. Maybe signifying they have somewhat of a heart. And since they have unreleased form they don't use as much energy. So now they aren't always thinking about consuming people(losing instinct). Now when Grimmjow released he went back to his original form(except without the mask). Now he is consuming way more energy, which means he's going to get hungry faster and will have the mindset of kill kill kill, instead of,what is my next strategy? And in this process he's going to lose some reasoning and rely more on instincts now. So naturally he would fight differently released(With more instinct) then he would if he was fighting unreleased(With more reason).

interesting... Llama. In that case then that would mean Vastrolordes are analytical and smart since they are the closest to being human like? Though I do not think we have seen or have confirmed a vastrolorde yet. But then again, I hope we don't have a WonderWiess Vastrolorde. DOH!

Nell looks determined and awesome. With the power gap between them I doubt Nnoi can win in a straight fight. Like Grimm, he's gonna have to use 1) full aggression from the get go and get the element of surprise, but that wont happen here
2) Use a trick or tactic. The longer this fight goes on the more disadvantaged he will be.

Hmm, one part of me wants to believe that Nel is a Vastrolode, but there could be other possibilities too.

Someone made a great observation earlier about her tattoo still being intact. Maybe she wasn't kicked out of the espada after her injury but wandered off like someone mentioned? In that case, she might be a vastrolode given the power levels of the espada we have seen so far, all though this isn't absolute. Maybe their aren't any Vastrolorde at in the espada at the moment.

If on the other hand, she was replaced after having been "missing in action" then maybe there were no Vastrolorde present when she was still with the espada, in which case she could be an adjucas.

If she is an adjucas (can't spell it sry) then maybe she won't necessesarily wipe the floor with Nnoitra. Although I'm all for that happening too. :D

What's the deal with Luppi?

Shawlong said Espada are ranked based on strength, so we can assume that whoever is outside of Espada is weaker than Aaroniero. If Sexta becomes too weak to be Espada, why doesn't Septima get promoted as Sexta, etc. and the next strongest become Decima? If Luppi has always been stronger than Szayel, then why isn't he Espada long ago?

It's either Kubo's inconsistency, Aizen's inconsistency, Shawlong's lack of knowledge, or Aizen deliberately did it to show that Grimmjow's not demoted, he's just suspended and Luppi is cannon fodder who's going to die either by the earth defenders or by Grimmjow when Orihime's theirs and she heals his arm.

Its a bit too convienient that Aizen would find someone weaker than Nnoitra but stronger than #7 to replace Grimmjow. It just seems too "perfect". Luppi was probably just thrown in so that Aizen wouldn't have to go through the hassle of changing four people's tattoos :P He probably always intended for Grimmjow's arm to be eventually healed by Inoue and thus reinstated into the Espada anyhow. So promoting #7, Pinkhairboy, Fishtank and Yammy would have been a waste of time.

Until now Ichigo has been led to believe all hollows are EVIL. But given the contrast we saw with shingami (i.e. Aizen(bad) and Renji (good))....why couldn't we have both good and bad hollows?

Now, he might not resist his inner hollow as much since it 'can't be all that bad'....ha ha....
