Bleach Rare (or hard to find) scans

I was feeling a little down about something so a couple of seeks ago I decided to dull my pain by search for some Bleach images. ( I am an image junkie you don't want to se all the Farscape fanart I have). I saw stuff I didn't even know existed before!! For one spread I went as far as to beg Air to scan it for me as I couldn't find a version anywhere without any writing on it of some sort of alteration (totally drives me crazy). http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v355/HoneyHobbit/Bleachgunspread.jpg

Anyway I thought I should start a thread for scans that are not common or have the writing removed. Also I thought it would be good place just to pool knowledge and maybe encourage people who got some cool stuff to scan it (where I live we got nothing), or get some images cleaned up (if someone is willing to do it). Also with so many well versed Bleachers in case someone has some mystery image I am sure a poster here can figure out who scanned it or find it for you. I ask that when posting images please do not hotlink and if possible please name who scanned it and/or the link where you got it from. Also since I have seen this asked on many places, please do not send other peoples scans to Image places like Anime paper or minitokyo without their permission.

BEST image resource is 4chan. /hr/ for high-res scans or /c/ for cute scans. But yeah, I guess it could be pretty intimidating or hard to use...meh. I got all my scans from there. XD

I'll upload a pretty cool scan once I get my browser working. XD

bottom one... is pages 16+17 of souls or can be found as pages 28+29 of all colour without the text...
<~~ in process of scanning my copy of all colour for Ju-Ni as many pages are missin from downloadable RAW...

btw page numbers coming from rescan of both souls and all colour not ones that are found already scanlated or other RAWs...

I had to piece it together and adjust the colors, clean it, etc... and, I had to scale it down for photobucket, even though the original huge file size really looks the best. The actual poster is huge, too! Should make a great wallpaper...

anyhow like NakeBenihime said there are alot of ichigo w/ shikai zangetsu in it...
this one is one of my favs from it... for the most part cleanin is done it mainly needs the redraws done... which also this one is found in SOULs but has text on it i think...

Well, technically, all of this is "artwork," but I think this thread is just meant for the artwork that's published officially/professionally. Fan art is just what fans do on their own...:)

Well the fanart threads are in the art forum. Also in the FC's (fanclubs) you can post the fanart there too (I am sure 'Hime fans would love the Orihime one for example).

I originally intended this thread for scans of official stuff by Kubo Tite, as NekeBenihime explained (Thanks).

OK I did some research, there are 3 different bleach calendars in Japan for 2008. There is a comic version, version A and version B. What was posted was version B. I wonder what goodies the comic version and A have. I feel so stupfid for missing out on the 2007 calendar that had the colour spreads.

Version A - this would be the manga-styled illustration. Kubo would not be drawing them. Usually this is commissioned to other studio artists. Previous years' calendars for Version A are drawn by other artists. Nagasawa Yukie was in charge of last year's and for 2006, Kamata Hitoshi and Oneda Kazue were the ones who drew the arts.

Version B - this would be the anime-styled illustration. Commissioned to anime studio artists -- Kubo would not be drawing them. And it's usually different artists who draw them each year as well.

Er. I'm not some mega stalkerish Bleach geek - I happen to know because I own the calendars.

There is another quesion I have: A loong time ago, so long that I don't even remember if it was done by Kubo or not, I stumbled upon a picture of Tatsuki,drawn from waist up, in what would seem to be a shinigami outfit, with a sort of furry weasel creature around her neck. I don't necessarily need to see the picture I just need confirmation that it indeed does exist abd it's from Kubo
I think someone used this once as proof that kubo plans to turn her into a shinigami:D

@ Mischi: It does exist; I've seen it and I have a pic of it on my other computer. It was a sketch Kubo did for something, can't remember if it was an artbook or a convention.

Of course it fuels speculation that he wanted to make her a shinigami, but I'd start by asking him why Tatsuki would be wearing a dead animal around her neck in the first place. :)

I tried to order the comic calendar from yes asia and they are out of stock!!!!!!!! :cry Does anyone know of other reliable websites to order from? I am horrified. I mean they came out on the 6th, it's less then a freaking week!!!! :cry

Oh!! Nakebenihime if you don't mind scanning the manga covers since it would be really helpful having text free version of these. If people want to use them for graphics, ask them to credit you for the scan. (Text on graphics drive me crazy and I don't use them for anything except eye candy to drool over)

I ordered my comic calendar from www.animaxis.com. Last I checked, which was a week ago, they were out-of-stock because I bought the last one, but they re-stock stuff all of the time, so just keep checking there if they don't have it right now. The cost of 2,000 yen, which is about $17 U.S. Although, watch out for the price of shipping...it's $30 for the international fares with insurance, and there is no cheaper shipping option. However, I got my order in 3 days flat! I live on the west coast of the U.S., so it only had to travel the Pacific Ocean, so it could take longer for those inland or on the other coast...or, even farther east than that.

In total, I spent $47 U.S., but the posters are incredible quality! Totally worth the price...:cool:
