Here's where you can post what you like about the Bleach series, be it manga or anime.
Let's hope there's a lot you like. :)

The best villain ever: Aizen Sousuke. ;)
And so many wonderful characters that I have come to love, whose emotions are so beautifully drawn. :)
And lately, the story line again (although I thought it dragged for a while). :D

Kubo's art. It's improved so much since Bleach started. Even when the storyline drags, I could happily read for the pretty art!

The art!
I can only say what others already did: he improved so much over the past years, it's unbelivable. He developed a more mature style and got better with expressions and such.
I also love the various story-lines and the interesting characters and their abilities =)

I especially like the characters, who are a lot and interesting (even if, obviously, for space/time reasons most of them aren't developed as much as they would deserve), the setting (one of my favourite ones) and the fighting system (which is now explained better, but I love it, especially the 4 ways of the shinigami) :D

I enjoy the characters with their back stories, the main antagonist and protagonist, the sword play, and storylines. I wish though the pace was a little faster sometimes.

I love the characters; their personality and characteristics; their relationships, history, connections, and interaction with each other etc. I also love the art (especially now), and the story.
Pertaining to the anime, I love the seiyuu voices and music. :)

What do I like best about Bleach? I'd have to say the interesting characters, Kubo's way of telling his story through the trials of the characters not to mention the way he can tell a story through the amazing character expressions. Often times not much needs to be said at all for a scene or panel to have deeper meanings or story attached to it, which is pretty cool to me. :)
The artwork being so well done and amazing adds to this, and overall gives Bleach a more "mature" or sophisticated feeling at times which I enjoy.

Definitaly the characters. They are what make Bleach for me. I probably wouldn't have made it this far otherwise *laughs*. I love Ichigo and Grimmjow and the others way too much.

The characters! Practically all the major characters have such unique and diverse designs and personalities, you can't help but love them.

The characters are really interesting and well developed (not talking about chest either). The story is good, but overall my favorite thing is the characters. It's one of the reason I loyally follow Bleach.

I like EVERYTHING about Bleach. I fell in love with it the very first time I saw it on my TV, it simply caught my attention so much that I wanted to know what was I watching. Then I sank into it :) Literally. Now I just can't live without it. The most fascinating thing about BLEACH is that you can learn a lot about yourself, life and philosphy. An unexpected outcome but precious, for me.

I really agree with you, Amami. Great post. :) Bleach is so much more than a typical shounen manga. Yes, it has plenty of action and fight scenes to appeal to that demographic, but there is also a great deal of subtlety, humor, philosophy, poetry, psychology, complexity and depth to this manga. :D I love it. <3
I like the whole concept of Shinigami and their powers. They are pretty much the only faction I like in the series. I could totally deal if the manga focused just on Seireitei.

I would also be completely cool with the manga being completely about the shinigami and Seireitei!
The two things that I love the most about Bleach are the story and the art! I really love this version of the shinigami and all the different chatacters and powers!
And I am absolutely in love with Kubo's art! I know that he is often criticised for not drawinf proper backgrounds, but I actually really like that he doesn't overdo it with backgrounds because I want to focus on the characters. Also, the EYES! The way Kubo draws eyes is absolute perfection for me! Plus, I think he deserves a lot of praise because his art has improved sooooooo much over the years!

The art is just so pretty to look at.
And I love the characters. Though I'm always going to be wishing this or that character would be more developed (since there are just so many of them!)... I guess that's good on his part because he has made people care about characters who don't even get that many panels/screen time. In the end, I'm still reading because I care what happens to Ichigo, Rukia, the nakama, the Gotei 13, etc.

The art is beautiful...definitely much better than most mangas (kinda similar to Gantz and Berserk in a way). The concept of power levels like DBZ has always been a fav of mine so bleach appealed to me on this matter. And finally, the characters are also pretty cool. Aizen and stark come to mind :)

There are many things I love about Bleach, but to pick a top three I would have to say,
1) The animation is just incredible.
2) I love all the characters, their personalities and how they interact with each other.
3) The story, even if it's not cannon I love it, even the filler episodes!

This is the best post, and I agree with it completely, I feel exactly the same. :)

I love everything about Bleach but if I had to pick one I'd have to say the characters. They're well rounded and multidimensional, you really can't judge these characters just on their looks. Take Rangiku for example, anyone who doesn't read or watch Bleach will look at her and say "Oh it's the big breasted bimbo character. She must be useless" but anyone who is a fan of Bleach and more importantly a Rangiku fan will notice that she is kind, loving, loyal. funny. She may be lazy when it comes to paperwork but she's a great fighter and will probably achieve bankai this arc. We also know she had had her share of heartbreak and her life hasn't been easy.
I also love how the characters aren't simply good or bad, again they have layers. There are some awful shinigami in the Gotei 13 and I'm not just talking about Aizen. And to be honest even though I hate Aizen I respect him and don't really consider bad or evil, just too intelligent and arrogant for his own good. Then there are the Espada, usually I don't like the "villain" characters and in the beginning I didn't like them but as the story progressed I began to sympathize with them. I have always been and will always be on team Shinigami but I did feel for the Espada, especially Grimmjow, Halibel, and Starkk . Bleach was the first series I ever; anime, cartoon, live action, that I ever liked and was interested in the "bad" guys.
Then there is the design of the characters, which I know goes under well drawn art. Kubo character design is amazing and beautiful, Bleach characters both male and female are IMHO the most attractive I ever seen. I know Kubo recycles face types but the faces fit the character and still become their own. For example Orihime and Momo both have the cute moe look going for them; they have made very similar expressions, but again their faces are their own. Also even with the recycled face types all the characters are unique looking in compare to most other anime. Bleach is one of the few series where I can actually remember the characters name. Unlike most shojo high school romance comedies where I constantly confuse the characters with ones from other shows. I also think that Bleach is among the few and for me the only series where you can pretty much identify every major character with just a close up of their eyes.

Before I would definitely say the characters, but lately I've been *blown away* by the quality of art in Bleach! Seriously, the emotions, the aesthetic appeal...its really incredible!

I could totally deal if the manga focused just on Seireitei.
Amen to that.
It's joint between the characters and the art for me (as it seems to be for most people). The Shinigami are my favourites but there are individual characters I like from each different group (well, except maybe the Fullbringers), so reading about their interactions is always fun. But while I love the characters, if they were drawn in a different style I don't think I'd connect with them as much. I just love the style of the series so much. :)

the best thing about bleach is clearly the amazing art!
since this is a long runing series you can clearly so how very much kubo improved compared to the early chapters. it's more an evolution than anything. even hater of bleach (curse you haters!) must admit that the art is undeniably great.
and to be more persice; I like the facial expressions most. I don't know another series where there is such a level of depth transmitted by expressions alone.

There are several things I like about Bleach, and the reasons why I'm still into it for the past 7 years. One, is the variety of characters, their races and their backgrounds. The story isn't just about a group of friends and villains with the same abilities, it involves a group of character and villains who have unique goals, traits, come from different backgrounds, races and beliefs. Second, the compelling storyline. It might be described as dragging on and being repetitive, but the thing is that each arc is leading up to the bigger thing, and a series is no good if the objective is achieved early on in the story. The third thing I like about it is Kubo-sama's art. He just makes it seem so easy that it's scary. And his ability to come up with so many characters and storylines is phenomenal. There are a lot of other reasons on what makes Bleach so fantastic, and that is why 'm going to keep on watching it until the very end~!

For me it would be the characters and the actual art style.
Character wise, Kubo's managed to create a host of many very unique characters, and despite the large numbers of them, he is still able to give them substance. Readers seem to latch on to specific ones and then take their love for them even father (fan stories, art, etc.) and it really shows how talented Kubo is for making characters that people love so much, while holding on to a fast paced storyline.
The art too, is utterly amazing and over the years has improve immensely. I know Kubo has inspired a lot of other artists (myself included).
