Not much info on it yet, but it's apparently an SRPG, instead of a fighter, set within the Bleach universe. Treasure (the creator of the previous Bleach fighting games) isn't working on it either.

I think it could be interesting though. Building up your own team to take on Hollows and such. Like...Zaraki for the attacking, Unohana for the healing and Hacchi for the magic defense and such? :p

Hm, I don't yet have a DS. But I'm getting one for Christmas...and I've been looking for some Bleach games to go with it...I should add this one to the list..

Although we know from the trailer tari101190 posted that some of the game will take place during the present manga timeline, it seems that a good chunk of it will be in the past in Soul Society with Urahara, Yoruichi, Kaien, and the 5th division with Vice-captain Aizen and Captain Suzunami Seigen. (I wonder how much Kubo was involved (if at all) and how much we can take as canon~...)

In any case this game looks like it's gonna be awesome! It'd definitely shaping up to be quite unique in the Bleach game franchise. :D

i love bleach manga, hate the anime adpatations of themanga, but ;love the filler and made up storylines not in the manga. such as bounto and movie stuff etc...

kudo fujimaru (brother of matsuri, maybe 5th division) = blonde guy
kudo matsuri (sister of fujimaru, maybe 5th divisioon) = blonde girl
suzunami seigen (captain of the 5th division!!!!) = red/brown haired guy
suzunami konaka (maybe daughter/wife of seigen) = red haired girl
aizen sousuke is 5th division v.captain
shihoin yoruichi is in soul society
urahara kisuke is a captain
shiba kaien is alive, maybe he's even in the 5th division b4 he becomes 13th division v.captain
arturo plateado is in for some reason

The game involves time-travelling, I think.....two brother sister, Kudo Fujimaru(older brother) and Kudo Matsuri(younger sister), from 'Aizen-as-Lieutenant-Fifth Division' were accidentally sent over to the present Ichigo's time. They were originally picked up and adopted into Seigen Suzunami(Aizen's superior) and Konoka Suzunami's(Seigen's older sister) house and then became shinigamis under Seigen's Fifth Division Shinigami.

Fujimaru and Matsuri are probably not canon characters.....Seigen Suzunami and Konoka Suzunami are.....though I hope they are not; it's just too wrong, I don't want them inside Kubo Tite's Bleachverse......Seigen is just too stupid and hotheaded to be true(just like Ichigo).

I'm really looking forward to this since I'm a big fan of tactical RPGs. It's looking pretty good so far, the only thing I hope they add is more arrancar. (It seems like this is what I say regarding every Bleach game: "Needs more arrancar" XD)

i would say the heatthe soul games are aliright, but they're nothin speical. this game seems to have a good storyline aswell as lots of characters that you can fight with rpg with.

I got hooked on this game...it's actually pretty nice. FF tactics or Fire emblem mixed with Bleach DS 2nd...The only problem I am encountering is...I can't read damn japanese..so I can't understand the story...

I played this and at first it reminded me of Super Robot Taisen, but it's reaaaalllllyyyyy SLOW D: so slow it turned me off xD I might try again but really, I was severely disappointed :T maybe it gets better when you play a bit more >__>;

Is play by chapters, you get the choice of Kudo Matsuri (female) or Fujimaru (male).

The introduction of the game have you battling hollows with Aizen Sousuke, Urahara Kisuke and Suzunami Seigen; Seigen and Konoka then rescue the twins and raise them; and meet up with other characters in the story and make them into Shinigami. You then meet up with Arturo Plateado, but you don't battle against him until much later as the game progress with Yama-ji (he then doesn't appear in the game until needed). A female dies in the game (important!) and why she important?

After that you appear on Earth and meet up with Kurosaki Ichigo and a mysterious girl name Shiyou who becomes your healer. You then head back to Soul Society and more battles with Heuco Mundo and larger hollows and menos appear. You go back and forth on Earth and Soul Society, while most battles are usually in Soul Society than Earth. There is a mini game with Kon with character interactions as well as getting Items and Status for your characters.

Your characters are given the choice of moving how many spaces they are allow to move. You then raise their reiatsu until they can preform double attacks-guard or Special EX attacks finisher moves, which you can pair up with any character you desire as long you can link them together using hands on character board given. You can also raise the HP and SP points.

I am on Chapter 22... Anyone gotten that far ahead yet?

ETA: You have save Plus during the game in the battle before hollows appear.

They don't say... I haven't even seen Kusaka Soujirou from DDR in the game yet.


The game isn't just tactics, but also strategic... You have to figure out how defeat the hollows, while maintaining HP without dying, so always be sure to have two healers around when you reach further into the Chapters. Quite a lot of determination but the game itself is pretty addictive. The storyline is pretty well written by Kubo Tite himself.

Chapter 22-24

Different outcome depending if you choose female or male...

I choose the female and I not done fighting.

Aizen Sousuke mention in the middle of the game that there was an enemy (teki) among them. Seigen is puzzled, you continue to fight him a few times and the only person return to you is your sibling, who winds up being critically injure from protecting you.

It took me nearly 5 hour to fight the Numero in Chapter 22... You first fight the Uliquiorra and Yammy, but they die fairly quickly. Chapter 23 you fight the Numeros and that took me a hour trying kill Edrad Liones, with 1600 HP, where Jidabou is not enough to beat. You have to get rid of Yylfordt first before fighting Edrad Liones. Make sure you have Ichigo using Bankai twice and power up his reiatsu before using the Bankai again (still useless but only powerful character there is).

Chapter 23, you go up against Arturo Plateado again!

But you find out from Aizen Sousuke himself that Arturo Plateado is just a tool. Get rid of the larger Arrancar before you fight him. He keeps taking your life points and be sure to have your healer on standby, cause you will need it. Then you fight Gin and Tousen... Tousen looses pretty quickly and next Chapter 24; you get your group Status from Kon-Mini Game and they will be added to your fighting group that will be going to Heuco Mundo -- Choose them carefully. You will still need 2 healers!

In Heuco Mundo you go up against the large Arrancar again. The much larger Hollow will comes towards you and you fight him; the girl Shiyou appears middle of nowhere, who she appear to be Suzunami Konoka. Then the much larger hollow eats the Grand Menos and evolves into something uglier. Save the game and boost your group HP and SP; get ready for another battle.

You will find out that the Evolving Hollow is Suzunami Seigen...

The fighting took over five hours since his HP are 8000 HP while the these other things are 2200 HP. I winded up playing this at 4-5 AM in the morning and had to leave my DS on... In the end; Aizen Sousuke is not evil... He's just prepping you for a great battle and protecting you as he protecting everyone else :lmao

I finished the normal mode and now I'm playing the free mode, I'm at the 13º fight, and are 30 in the total.
in the 12 you can get Tousen to be a playable character if you beat him in 5 round or less( i did it with Fujimaru's bankai)
