Ahaha yeah how could i forget Zoidberg. I'm gonna hunt some of my favourite quotes but i think one of the funniest things ever for me was the ep where Zapp sings Lola as Leela in Karaoke haha.

Shado- Those were all great episodes, except for Jurassic bark. the ending to that was terrible (I almost wanted to cry)

Futurama starts up again in just about a year correct.

I love Futurama! Dr. Zoidberg is definitely my favourite character; he uses what little screen time he has to perfection. :D But the trio of Fry, Leela, and Bender is always good. ^^

Oh and my most favourite quote ever: "If we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominos will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate." LOL Zap, so darned clueless. :p

i don't know where to look for official info but there should be a new series coming back finnaly in jan-feb 2008.
i saw it on anther forum somewhere, maybe narutoforums or bleachexile forums.
anyway look on google or wikipedia for info if you don't believe.

Good News Everyone!! Bender's Back Baby!! Oh yeah the rest of the gang too.

While they don't know exactly how the show is going to return; Station, schedule, or what have you...they do know that they have 4 Feature Length Movies either on deck or in the works. The episodes will be sold on DVD and broken up into episodes for broadcast on Comedy Central..NO that's not a typo..they are leaving Cartoon Network Behind and jumping over to Comedy Central Jan 1st, 2008.

Better news still everyone! is that when they say everyone is back they mean EVERYONE is back; All the writers, voice actors, producers and directors.

More cool news everyone! The show will now be in widescreen and high def baby!! Oh yeah and now that they are on cable you can expect a little more naughty-ness from the crew of the planet express.

The first adventure for the crew...Benders Big Score (On DVD Holiday 2007 Nov 27th). They showed a brand spankin new 5 min trailer...

The Secret of time travel found on Fry's ass sets the gang off on an adventure through time featuring all the old fav characters and a huge space battle..and also the hypno-toad.

The panel did a live reading in character of the RETURN OF FUTURAMA comic box (handed out before the panel...jealous?) Like watching a live taping of the show, a little gift for the fans all around. HI-LARIOUS

Every single one of the 72 episodes prior were a slice of fried gold....bring on the next 772.

Ah, yeah, "Jurassic Bark" was so sad, it really tugs at my heart strings whenever I see it. Same with "Luck of the Fryish". But my favorite episode would have to be the one where they go to the lost city of Atlanta xD

In case some of you haven't already heard the first movie is set for a November release of this year so rejoice it'll be back real soon. I can't wait the show is truly the best animated show, and quite possible one of the best shows of all time. I loved it because I could watch episodes over and over and still pick up new things each time.

To be honest, the first time I saw Futurama, I didn't like it (please don't throw rotten tomatoes at me). It was only after one of my brothers insisted on this show being great that I watched it again and I liked it.
A come back isn't good : it's wonderful. The world needs more robot Santa and more Zoidberg.

I was lukewarm when I first saw it too....I only watched two episodes until the final one and I thought "thats it? aww"
It wasnt until I watched them all again i realized all the jokes and that it was the best thing since sliced bread

I was the same too. At first I was like "bah, no way is this as good as the Simpsons" but when I got older and watched it I realised it was a hell of alot better than the newer Simpsons eps.

In a way it was kind of a good thing it was cancelled because now the new series will be really fresh.

I really like Futurama as well. It has a lot more possibilities than the Simpsons as the show's a sci-fi so really anything goes.

I loved the episodes when they're paroding old Star Trek Episodes like the time they had to sit in the Captain Pike wheelchair thing and beep the light for a flashback. It's the sorts of jokes like these that I understand how it isn't as popular as the Simpsons, it's really only the sci-fi nuts that get it.

Although it's great that it's coming back! I think I might just watch a few episodes to celebrate! :D

i think he probably went with the Simpsons over Futurama also partially because i dont think Futurama ever got as popular. its not really the type of show everyone can enjoy or find funny. it really is for certain types of audiences... particularly science fiction freaks, nerds and geeks XP

True, but the Simpson's show was aimed at everyday modern life, so you really can't compare the two lol. Taking in Shado's comment on it also and adding the fact that it was rated higher would also be the reason.

Futurama is awesome, but I mainly watch it for one reason: Bender.

He has the greatest lines ever! There are a lot of great one liners in futurama, I'm glad bender gets most of them. I also can't forget Zoidberg. He is also another big influence as to why I watch this show any chance I get. :D

The best episode in my humble opinion would have to be the pilot " Space Pilot 3000" but I also like " Hell is other robots", " The Day the Earth stood stupid" and " Teenage Mutant Leela's Hurdles".

Bender is my fav character too, I enjoy having "Hey Sexy Mama, wanna kill all humans?" as a catch phrase.

Fry is kinda annoying, but he's mostly a twit, so it's an acceptable level of fanboism, I guess?

My fav thing about the future are "The Suicide Booths" cause I'm cryptic like that, but I think a future that dystopic and irreverent might not be as bad as others. Also Nixon for PRESIDENT! :yell

A little romance, a little action, the destruction of the entire Universe - FUN FOR ALL!!

Spoilerific review!: :nuts

The plot centered around some Scammers who went around stealing information and scamming people out of their money and homes, and eventually the Earth. Through the power of email.

They also found a Time-Code tattooed onto Fry's ass (in the form of Bender's head) This was a perfect Time-Code making paradoxes impossible. To keep the nerds from wetting themselves; they had the Professor trying to continually disprove it with the help of his physics-amigos the Harlem Globe-Trotters. So basically, it's all explained to you, because they said so. :D

The Scammers took over Bender's brain with an obedience virus (iObey), so he did all their stealing of historical stuff for them. After they'd stolen everything they sent him back to kill Fry, before they wiped Bender's brain of the time-code, the obedience virus and some terabytes of porn. Which is just cruel dude.

The time code things plays out into a romantic timeline with Fry, his older-mature self; Lars and Leela. And a narwhal.

The Earth was reclaimed, when the homeless Earthlings attacked from their base on Neptune, with the help of Santa and his magical elves. And Kwanzaa-bot & JJ. Hermes, who was a head in a jar, managed the fleet with his incredible bureaucratic skills (always trust your accountant) and won back his wife - whohadlefthimcausehisbodygotcrushedandreallyitwasa sidestory.

Bender delivered the "final" blow by hitting them with one of the Professor's DOOMSDAY devices, and by self-destructing (one of his paradox-less created doubles) on one of them later, 'sadly' killing Lars.

The Universe auto-destructed cause Bender went back in time to put the timecode on Fry's ass in the first-place, which made no sense 'cause he didn't have to, and all would've been fine. But I only think that 'cause it was the end of the movie and they didn't bother with the anti-nerd measures.

I liked the movie WAY better than the Simpson's movie, which had all the comedy of kicking a dead horse. The running gag of "Torgo's executive powder" (made from 100% ground executive!) was lulz. I appreciated the pointless anarchy and the Star Wars references, cause it's cultural.

I hope the other movies don't suck as well.

I loved how Bender turned out to be the aliens that destroyed new york while Fry was frozen XD I also like how they explained the flash fossilization of Fry's dog and Panucci's Pizza, and also how he died standing when we last saw him lie down....It was amazing for sure
