So you've heared a great album? This single beats the rest of the singles you have ever heared?
Shout about it here.
I shall start (warning my reviews are bizaree)
Paramore - RIOT!
1. For A Pessimist, I'm Pretty Optimistic:
A drum beat lead with flaring guitars is a perfect start to the second album from the Franklin, Teneesse four peice. The strong vocals in the song convay the message of a break up between two people or a friend who has broken away and didn't want to remain friends anymore with the band members. The strong guitar, drum beat and vocals throughout the song shout out the message to the person it inolves making them wake up and smell the flowers.
10/10
2. Thats what you get
A jumpy song along with a message about love and when you basically let your heart win in a relationship and then things end up a bit wrong. A strong drum beat in this song along with twinkling guitars makes the song very jumpy and not drowning out Haleys voice speak out. Even when the song breaks down to the mellow voice. This is the song which the title comes from the line "This heart will start a RIOT in me". A very crowd drawing song and jumpy song to sing your heart out to.
9/10
3. Hallelujah
After about 3 different versions of this song leaking around the net the band decide to create a more rockier heavy guitar lead song to kick into song 3. Haleys shouty strong vocals along with the strong guitars mix along with the message of happiness. I personally prefer this song Acoustically. Haleys voice is the only thing that doesn't seem to have changed from any of the demo's it just seems they have added a more rockier guitar mix to the song. I can imagine the crowd head banging along to this song as they sing Hallelujah at the top of their lungs.
8/10
4. Misery Business
The broken down film start with the music broken down with a studio feel start sets the song in motion with haleys voice. The song then jumps into a guitar head start and drums before Haleys voice hits us. The first single off the album. This is as Haley says the "shameful" song on the record about breaking up with a guy who cheated with a girl and then getting the guy back. Haleys strong vocals show the fun side of the song and the true revenge factor. The drum in this song sort of lets the story flows as the guitar jumps in at intervals to give a strong moral to the whole song. The song ends with a quick fire high hat fade showing the end of the revenge.
10/10
5. When it rains
As i would describe as the ballad of the album using rockish intstruments. This has to be my favourite song of the album. The whole song is about a friend leaving and wanting an answer. The link the song to rainning and as if when the person left it rained. The song yet mellow carries a strong drum beat with fantastial rain like dripping guitar melody throughout the song. All they want is an explanation of why this happened. A fanastic song.
10/10

Band: Streetlight Manifesto
Album: Everything Goes Numb
Everything Goes Numb is the debut album from 4th wave ska band Streetlight Manifesto. All of the songs are very upbeat, and you can hear the many, many, influences that go into the music.
Track 1 - Everything Went Numb
Starts out with a cool horn intro. The intro verse is sung...and then the 3 horns of the band play the notes in such a harmony that it sounds like an accordion; I assure you that it's actually a saxophone, trumpet, and trombone. The song is about a thief, and you get the impression when you listen to the music. In case you didn't get what I mentioned before... the horn players in this band are ridiculously good.
9/10
Track 2 - That'll be the Day
Its almost like this song is more of a lead in to the next song. There are lyrics that seem to be speaking to the listener "I don't care if you go now or if you stay" I would recommend staying.
8/10
Track 3 - Point/Counterpoint
A song debating whether or not to commit suicide that starts off with a very catchy acoustic intro. Its very easy to sing along too once you learn the lyrics. The breakdown and bridge in this song is amazing and unpredictable. The bass is showcased in the bridge...he is amazing. I wonder how many people can even play the bass line on a guitar...
10/10
Track 4 - If and When We Rise Again
My personal favorite on the album. The first minute is a trippy random guitar intro that doesn't seem to make sense musically and sounds really sloppy. It gradually starts making sense and blending in though, followed by a badass intro at 1:01. The sustain on the guitar is sweet. Best part of the song however, is the saxophone solo at 3:20, which is followed by an awesome phrase by all the horns.
10/10
Track 5 - A Better Place, A Better Time
The favorite song of my depressed friend. The entire song is about why you shouldn't commit suicide. Very cheer uppy. If I was still a chronically depressed person I would be able to listen to this song all day.
9/10
Track 6 - We are the Few
My least favorite song. Nevertheless, it's still amazing. There's just nothing unique in it that strikes me when compared to all the other tracks.
8/10
Track 7 - Failing, Flailing
I love this song just because it starts out so well. The way the intro lyrics rhyme is so cool. "You say you've got the cure, but I don't have a disease. You say you have the answers but I made no inquiries."
9/10
Track 8 - Here's to Life
Not committing suicide seems to be a recurring theme. This song has a very cool horn melody and the backing vocals harmonize real well with the lead vocals.
8/10
Track 9 - A Moment Of Silence
A moment of silence please, for those who never get the chance...
9/10
Track 10 - A Moment Of Violence
Fits perfectly with the last song, if you're not paying close attention you won't be able to tell that the album has moved to the next track. A short heavy concluding song to A Moment of Silence.
9/10
Track 11 - The Saddest Song
Seriously, every band has a song called "The Saddest Song" Ironically, this song is one of the most upbeat and happy sounding on the album.
7/10
Track 12 - The Big Sleep
A great end to a great album. The greatness of the band is poured into this song, with the vocal harmony in the beginning to the upbeat horn sections leading into heavy distorted sections. The verses are beautiful too, with the instruments played down a bit so we can hear what the singer is talking about. The feeling I get is that I don't want the song to end...it's that good.
10/10
Overall Album Score: 10/10
It's always nice to find a good album I can listen all the way through. I highly recommend this album to anyone. If you don't find the music to be amazing then there is something very wrong with your music sense. I hate people who are snobby about the music they listen to, but this album is just that good that I don't mind saying it.
hmmmm... sounds like a fun way to spend *cough*waste*cough* our time xD
I'll start with Rie fu's Rose Album ..and heheh keep the same song-by-song format (which is a long but nice concept :p)
[keep in mind that i'm not sure of the translations and that i'm horribly BIASED xD]
そのままで (sono mama de)
Translation : "the way you are"
So this starts off with a very happy-go-lucky song, which sets a quite a nice vibe. The music and Rie fu's voice makes you fly away in some sort of calm, serene and "dreamy" mood. The guitar is especially good and the voice matches the music really well. The song is good and solid, but nothing toospectacular.
my rating : 8/10
5minutes
Hm... I kinda get the "messy" and "rushy" feel when i listen to this song. I think the song reflects well the rushed world we live it and the way we struggle to get through it, without being an especially "quick-beated" song.
my rating : 7.5/10
Funny Dream
A very beautiful and cute song that gives me cute images of chibi couples dancing around (yes, my reviews are getting weirder and weirder xD). The piano and the music overall nicely sets the little "mini-chibi adventures". Even though this review sounds terribly weird, it's one of the songs i like alot in this Album
my rating : 8.5/10
I Wanna Go To A Place...
aaah.. My favorite song in the whole album.. and one of my two favorite songs by Rie fu... EVER! It starts off with a beautiful violin melody and the accoustic guitar and voice rolls in. The guitar and vocals are simply amazing and it gives a peaceful and makes us (well, at least me) feel the "I dream of you" thing somehow and the nice and calm flow that progressively rises up to tone down just as gracefully. Once again, the music, (the guitar and vocals especially) are simply amazing...
my rating : 10/10
Realize
here's now a more upbeat song! I like the guitar and the drums alot. The voice effect to create that kinda "semi-echo" (not sure how it's called.. listen to the album and tell me?? XD). This song is much more in the rock category and it changes alot from the rest (like Kiss U Goodbye which will come later on) and seems to be also some sort of interlude seperating various 'phases' of the album. (lmao just noticed that right now actually xD)
my rating : 7.8/10
Tiny Tiny Melody
One of my favorites from the album right here!! I have no idea what kinda metallic instrument is playing on the background on this song, but its' beautiful!!! this song focuses mostly (IMO) on the vocals and seems to be alot about that little imaginary world we use to take refuge from our stressful reality (BTW watch the MV on youtube it's SOOO KAWAII!!! ...ahem.. yes let's go on <__<;; XD) her voice is especially nice in this one.. very smooth and beautiful. She seems to whisper again and again and again (lmao, and i'm not even under the influence of anything xD)... Yet the song isn't quite as good a I Wanna go to a Place, which explains little lower score...
my rating : 9.7/10
Conversation
A full english song... very enjoyable of course since i can't understand japanese xDDD ... um yeah the review... This song sets a similar vibe than "sono mama de" without being quite the same. This song sounds less "vibrant" and is much more flow-ey... The tone sounds a little sadder and that song makes me imagine a cute little "they lurve each other but they're frozen when they meet!!!" scenaro... xD
my rating : 7.9/10
They Always Talk About
A very solid and upbeat song. It starts off very slowly with the little tweet-tweet like sound and they the guitar and drums kick in the Rie fu's voice is suddently taking a much stronger tone!! I always get the mental image of "I walk alone amonst a crowd who's talking about stuff i don't a give a damn about". This song, unlike most of the others, is very expressive. The music and lyrics are very 'hypnotizing'?? (fault of a better word)... Rie's voice is still as amazing as always... and it has power!... yay!! xD
my rating : 9.4/10
Kiss U Goodbye
This song, the third and last full-english song in the album, sounds alot like Realize. Very upbeat and rock-ey. Plus, this song has alot of character!! (at least that's what i feel in my twisted mind xD). The guitar and drums play a great role in this song. the voice make it sound even sweeter xD. I also feel that kinda "bad/strong girl" vibe from this song?? O.o
my rating : 8.2/10
Vintage Denim
Hm... as I write this review (and listening to the album at the same time), I kinda notice more and more some patherns on the album.."the calm after the storm"??? O.o In any case, we didn't see many songs where piano took a great importance, and Vintage Denim is one of them. It's a little bit like the "draggy ballad" of this album (but draggy is such a pejorative term.. and I like the song... >_> let's call it a "good drag"?).
my rating : 8.4/10
ローズ (rose)
Hmmm... starting with the drums, then accoustic guitar, then ze voice n____n. The song's name is rose, but it kinda feels more like "rose" as in "rising"...since this gives me the mental image of the sunrise in which everyone looks, amazed... (yes i have lots of "mental images" XD) but most of the lyrics are in japanese so i can't confirm anything. The voice seems to...iunno... rise??
my rating : 9.5/10
Long Long Way (Album Version)
hm... the "super draggy ballad" of the album!! (but remember, it's a GOOD DRAG!!! xD) The voice makes it sounds very beautiful and romantic... as if it was talking about a very sad love story... the song itself it really sad and it's perhaps one of the very few truly sad songs she has sung. (if it's not the only one). ugh... me wanna cry?? <__<;; I have that mental image (don't worry it's the last time i talk about that... maybe? xD) of "i walk alone at the night, looking, searching, but never finding where you're heading" (tee-hee, it rimes!!!!)
my rating : 8.3/10
ねがいごと (negaigoto)
translation : things I want and/or Wish ...anyways you get what i mean!
Very upbeat piano song with the violin playing a major role in it. Rie fu's voice has a very dreamy/hopeful/wishful tone (which is ubercute?) which well bodes quite well with the whole idea i guess. =P The violin solo near the middle point of the song is just beautiful and lovely. Haha BTW no more mental images since i saw the MV... which ruined whatever image i had xD. her voice in this song is simply lovely and hooks me alot! ..Making this my second favorite song of the album...
my rating : 9.8/10
Overall: The smooth transistion and amazing ordering of the songs makes this album very enjoyable and easy to listen to. Instead of having a couple of marquee songs stacked together at the beginning and putting the worse at the end like some artists do, Rie fu nicely ordered her songs to make her album a very balanced and "uniform" blend!
Also, I just discovered that this album seems to have 3 "phases".
-The first phase, which is more calm, happier, more simplistic
(The 4 first songs, from "sono mama de" to "I Wanna go to a Place")
The "first interlude" (Realize)
-The second phase, being more like "the escape/refuge" from the ebil society? the loneliness related to it? To be honest i'm really not so sure about this...:(
("Tiny Tiny Melody", "Conversation", "They Always Talk About")
-The last Phase, being sadder, where it seems to especially express loneliness
(the four last songs)
....anyways it's the first Jpop Album I really listened to and i'm a little biased towards it obvously... Lovely Lovely album methinks :D Rating: 245/10? (the real rating being 10/10 duh!)
The review was a little odd at times ... even disturbing too at other times.. but heh if you actually read this...wow! o_O

Linkin Park - Minutes to Midnight
Notes: This is the first Linkin Park album which they did not find a particular sound they wanted the album to have. In previous albums they chose songs out of their catalogue which sounded similiar so the album would have a distinctive feel. For Minutes to Midnight they scrapped this idea and chose the songs they wanted to be on it because each song told a different story and had a different style.
Many LP fans dislike Minutes to Midnight since they say it is soft in comparison to older albums. LP would have evolved over the course of making 3 albums however they would have had mellower and softer songs in the past which were not released. People judge LP's sound according to what they have released which may be misleading since they would have had so many different types of sounds.
1. Wake
Its a pretty cool intro song. The start of it reminds me of the music channel 10 used in their advertising. It is similar to Session from Meteora in the music at the start before it changes to a new futuristic rock sound. Bright and insightful track to begin their new album with.
8/10
2. Given Up
An aggressive, bitey heavy rock song which is really catchy. Energising and makes you wanna move. This would be one of the fastest paced songs Linkin Park has ever made. Its heavy as some of their older works but it still has a different kind of feel, more matured and controlled. The first unremixed album which LP uses the f-word on:p.
9/10
3. Leave Out All The Rest
If compared to an older LP song it would be most like My December with the electronic, slow beat to begin with before becoming a soft rock song without losing the passion and roar of the guitars that LP is known for. The vocals from Chester are really gentle and tender. The lyrics are heartfelt and deep, about relationships with friends and painful memories of the past.
9/10
4. Bleed It Out
An upbeat, anthemic sounding song. Full of energy and incredibly catchy since it has clapping as the main form of beat keeping. The song starts with Chester entering a room and muffled talking with the rest of the band. It feels like the song is being sung spontaneously in a room with 5-6 people clapping, chatting and cheering along. The vocals begin with Mike's rapping and then he takes a backseat once his verses are over and Chester takes over with his grindy, passionate voice.
10/10
5. Shadow of the Day
This would be one of the most beautiful pieces of music Linkin Park have ever written. It is incredibly gentle and caring sounding. I interpret the lyrics as Chester singing to a friend who has been through a lot of trauma. It has the usual electronic beat mixed in with Rob's drumming. Strings are used to good effect to give the song a serene and quiet feel. Chester's singing is exquisite and showcases the compassionate sound he can make you feel.
The song ends with the longest crossfade I have ever heard which is about 44 seconds of transition to the next track.
10/10
6. What I've Done
This is the first and only single to have been released from Minutes to Midnight so far. It is a medium rock song with varying sounding vocals from Chester. The verses are soft contrasting with the harsher sounding chorus. The lyrics are centred around the wrong doings of the human race. War, corrupt politicians, environmental damage and global warming. This could be considered the first political LP song. Mike makes his first singing appearance on the album with the backing in the latter half of the song with his "nah nah nah"ing:p.
8/10
7. Hands Held High
This is Mike's subtle protest song. I dub this the Bush hater track 1 from Minutes to Midnight. The song has a characteristically American march feel with the marching beat on the snare. Strings, organs and guitar are used to good effect as the music while Mike's strong, charismatic voice raps away for the first 3/4 of the song. His lyrics centre on the poor state of America and the "leader" being Bush and how he is incompetant.
The last part of the song ends with Mike and backing singers. "His hands held high into a sky so blue as the ocean opens up to swallow you". Its one of the most beautiful moments on the album. Mike really does have a great voice and it would be nice to hear it more.
10/10
8. No More Sorrow
No More Sorrow is Chester's protest song. I dub this the Bush hater track 2 on Minutes to Midnight. The music is heavy and dark. You can feel Chester articulating the anger of the world against the American government. He speaks of liars and thieves being the politicians. He also says "your time has come to be replaced/erased". The clearest cut expression of his views comes through when he shouts out "thieves and hypocrites! thieves and hypocrites!". A straightforward protest song done in an aggressive manner, most appropriate.
8/10
9. Valentine's Day
Many people have criticised this song calling it emo and all. It has some elements which people would classify as emo such as a sullen voice and the lyrics with "black wind", "darkness" and "heartless wind". The lyrics focus on a broken relationship with the song being summed up in the line leading into the chorus, "I never knew what it was like to be alone on a valentine's day". There are two parts, the first being a soft emotional expression of feelings and the second being a heavier but still a subdued sound.
9/10
10. In Between
Breakthrough! Mike's first song where he is the lead vocalist and singing. It is a slow and mellow song. As most LP songs the lyrics are great, they are about broken promises and rifts in a friendship. The whole song sounds slightly drony and boring at times. Depends on your mood but I'm guessing that most of the time people wouldn't feel like listening to this song because of its slow and mellow nature.
6.5/10
11. In Pieces
Lead singing by Chester. The lyrics focus on a deceitful lover and how they have created ruined memories, in pieces. The song begins with an confused sounding beat before changing up a gear into an off-beat catchy sound. The singing by Chester is smooth and it contrasts in the chorus when he emphasises the words I and one. As the song progresses there are more and more instruments fed into the mix feeling like a giant beast surging forward before dissipating near the end.
9/10
12. The Little Things Give You Away
It is another mellow, soft song with Chester on lead vocals. The direction of the song feels vague and confusing due to the various chord changes and changing of the beat. The lyrics are quite random and vague as well. This is the longest song on any regular LP album at 6:25. There is a long instrumental section of the song beginning from 2/3 of the way through. The whole song feels muddy and odd, not as pleasant to listen to as most of the other tracks.
5/10

o.O
A song-by-song review of an album? The professionals don't even do that. o.O
Arctic Monkeys - My Favorite Worst Nightmare
Overall, an excellent album. The U.K. rock group provides a fresh feel that is totally lacking in most American bands, and it's very refreshing. That said, the songs get rather repetitive and their lyrics get lost in the overwhelming rock/bass/drum riff stuff. Sort of like Jimmy Eats World meets Red Hot Chili Peppers meets Led Zeppelin. Overall, a great album, and I greatly enjoy rocking out to out whilst I drive.
well I guess that : us >>>>> pros ;p

Me reviewing another thing from Rie fu, her newest single "Tsukiakari"
1- Tsukiakari : A very beautiful and somewhat upbeat ballad. the music is very unique and has a somewhat epic(?) feeling to it =D It reminds me alot of Life is Like a Boat (song featured in Bleach BTW) which is also an awesome song. The lyrics are very mysterious though... never really got to check them out xD It's the kinda song that I don't really like, UNTIL I listen to it!! xD
BTW... I recommend watching the video.. the desert thingy kinda reminds me of Hueco Mundo lol XD
rating : 9.3/10
2- dreams be : A very different song with a very different feel this time. An upbeat song with a kinda rock-ish way in it. very beautiful melody.. just as good or even better than Tsukiakari.
rating : 9.5/10
Overall, The single is awesome and both songs blend together very, very well despite the fact that they're so different from one another. Both songs are some of the best songs she's come around with in a very long time, and some of her best songs period IMO. A very solid single with two very different, but equally amazing songs xD
Beee's incredibly biased rating : 9.8/10 (I wanted a third song!!!)

Well, okay. :P
It Won't Be Soon Before Long - Maroon 5
1. If I Never See Your Face Again - 10/10
Maroon 5's first song on the list on their album, and I swear, this song reminds me of something, but I really can't put my finger on it. If I Never See Your Face Again is about love, and about the guy wanting more. I love the beat, it's reminiscent of the funk rock times. And since I kinda do like some times of old music, I adore this song a lot. One of my favorites of the album.
2. Makes Me Wonder - 9/10
Ah, yes. It's the first single. For some reason I keep hearing this on the radio. A lot. But I don't mind, because it's a pretty catchy song. I don't really think that Maroon 5 should've used this song as their first single, though, because there are other songs that would've been better.
3. Little of Your Time - 9/10
This song screams awesome, imo, but it's too SHORT! If you press 3 on your CD player, you'll only have 2 and a half minutes of this song. It's so sad, because this is a great dancing song, but you can't dance for only 2 minutes, can you?
4. Wake Up Call - 9/10
This whole album is amazing. Like this song. It's about a really bad relationship, where the guy keeps catching the girl with some new guy on his bed. It's kinda sad, but the song it cool.
5. Won't Go Home Without You - 10/10
I love the Police. And since I love the Police, I love this song. It sounds so much like the Police, which is coincidental, because M5 are touring with them soon. If I want to relax, I can listen to this song.
6. Nothing Lasts Forever - 9.5/10
I'm being really positive with this album. Well, I like this song too. Because of the sound, and what it means. Nothing really does last forever, materialistic, anyways.
7. Can't Stop - 8.5/10
Well, I like the song, but then, I usually don't listen to it much because I like the other songs better. It still has a nice dancing beat to it. :D
8. Goodnight Goodnight - 9/10
I listened to this song 5x straight once when I felt kinda bad about something. No, it isn't an emo song though. It's a pretty good slow rock/pop song. But it's funny, because when I think of this song, I think of some father/daughter movie.
9. Not Falling Apart - 9/10
Lulz. This reminds me so much of Police, so so much. But I like it.
Let's just say I like the whole album, and it screams: POLICE.
... Overall: 9.5/10, for glistening like a disco ball.
Superunknown
10-28-2008, 07:43 PM
Found this thread and I wanted to review the album of my namesake
Soundgarden - Superunknown
1. Let Me Drown - 9/10
Excellent album intro, the riff which kickstarts this beast of an album screams power to me. This song, while not the best, sets the listener in an uneasy yet stable position that pretty much sums up the cleanest points of the record.
2. My Wave - 10/10
Chris asks you to keep it off his wave, but it's hard to do so, since this song from beginning to end makes you want to shout the lyrics and play air guitar.
3. Fell on Black Days - 15/10 (10/10 True Score)
One of the highlights of the record (and my personal favorite) is a positively pessimistic anthem. The mood of this song is dark, with excellent guitar work from Kim Thayil. The Middle Eastern influences are noticeable in some parts of the song.
4. Mailman - 6/10
After the moody Fell on Black Days, comes the song I like the least. I don't know why, but this song isn't precisely my favorite Soundgarden track. Some people like the grungy guitars and depressive chorus, so I guess those are the best points of the song.
5. Superunknown - 9.5/10
Title track. After listening to the schizophrenic guitars which open the doors to the Superunknown at the start of this songs, you will start getting the point of the album. Five minutes of compressed madness, they steal your mind and then they steal your soul.
6. Head Down - 9/10
This song makes me feel like I am in a swamp for some reason. It lasts six or so minutes, but the instant effect of uneasiness this track provides makes it feel more longer but still fascinating in nature. After Matt Cameron drums his way to the end, the album gives way to the most popular song by the quartet from Seattle...
7. Black Hole Sun - 10/10
A song to sing when you feel like a period in your life is over, too pessimistic but epic despite only being five minutes. The video is also one of the most strange things you will see in the world of music video, you could expect similar imaery from this dark album. Anyone getting their hands on this album must listen this track first to understand Soundgarden's magnum opus.
8. Spoonman - 8/10
Nice track, this song is about a man who can play music with spoons. This same man (Artis the Spoonman) also performs during the middle section of the song.
9. Limo Wreck - 9/10
Complicated song, not sure about what the lyrics mean... but the feeling of despair is present through the entire duration of the tune.
10. The Day I Tried to Live - 10/10
Absolute grunge at its best, begins softly with mood-sustaining electric chords but when the chorus arrives, it becomes an incarnation of sorrow at living life in excess at the cost of others. One of the best points of the album.
11. Kickstand - 7/10
Filler track, it's a pretty much straightforward rock song. Very short too.
12. Fresh Tendrils - 9.5/10
A personal favorite, I can't find the words to describe this song's contents. All I can say is that the Led Zeppelin/Black Sabbath influences are shown off in the beginning of the song.
13. 4th of July - 9/10
A sad "patriotic" (note the quotation marks for irony) song. The most slow-paced song of the album at this point, Thayil's guitar breaks after the chorus give this track an anxious panorama. After the song distorts and disappears into nothing...
14. Half - 7/10
...A Ben Shepherd (the bassist) composed tune, sang by him with a Middle Eastern instrumentation. It makes you feel like if you were in a part of Asia. Filler track, but slightly entertaining.
15. Like Suicide - 9.5/10
The longest song is the one that closes this record. Seven minutes, stating precisely that love's like suicide. This song came out in part to a bird that crashed into Cornell's window while having a hard time composing it. He found the bird suffering and decided to end its pain with a brick. For many fans, this is one of the best songs the band has ever done, and an excellent way to end a dark, grungy, murky record.
Overall
9.5/10 Has some low points, but in general a 90s Classic and one of Grunge's must-have albums. If you're looking for a depressing record without straying off to being "emo" or excessively crybaby, this one's for you. You'll find the Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath influences present throughout the 70 minutes of this monster record, and pulled off without looking like a cheap ripoff. Best Soundgarden record hands down.
