Lol Geta, I'm personally a sucker for the Yumi/Ikkaku friendship. They work well together. Mizuho is funny though, how she fangirls over mainly because he's bald just cracks me up XD

When Yumichica was first introduced in the manga I felt he was a girl , case of a mistaken identity like Luppi .

Its a bond based on survival and common intrest . During the Edoardo Vs Ikkaku fight it was clearly visible . Yumi Iku and Ken share the same crazy streak the streak for glory and recognition . Yumi due to his feminine appearance and vanity may not look like the rest . But I would question anyone's sanity who would sit and watch his best freind die . Without even considering the thought of helping . In the journey of life Yumi followed Ikakku and till now his confidence has payed off , from Rukognai to 11 div .

Ikkaku's has Shaolin Origin ?. Hozokimaru was the weapon used in 36 chambers of Shaolin ( three section staff ). Ikkaku looks and appears like a monk speaks an ancient dialect . Is he like Soi Fong whose real name goes as Shaolin Fong . I also have a fanart where Ikkaku is a Shaolin monk by Wolcik
