I LOVE this ship and think they are cute when they are together. Plus, chapter 228 is full of RukiHime moments. :) As a matter of fact, that was the chapter that made me see how cute it would be if they were to ever get together. And a lot of of people *coughatFLOLcough* have said that RukiHime is already cannon. ;) I mean, Rukia did cop a feel. hehe. Yay!

yeah,I loved rukia's speech,it was so beautiful and touching.It made me so sad to see her fall this way..... She was having a hard time (she must have had one of the most difficult fight in the serie,emotionally speaking) and yet,during the fight,she was always thinking about saving orihime.
I think my love for rukia really increased after this chapter.

I really hope we'll see more interaction between them (I really would like orihime to go save rukia.I mean,rukia was really determined to save orihime so I wish orihime would too)

What got me into RukiHime was the chapter (i forgot..) where Rukia consoles her and then I saw how cute they'd be together. Seriously, then I went back and kind of watched a few episode and started to like it more. THEN! In the chapter where Rukia 'dies' I loved her speech. It touched my heart and I was all, OMG OTP. *tear*

As to what got me into RukiHime... er... nothing, really. ^_^;; I mean, despite jokes a FLOL about how Rukia's already copped a feel on Orihime (physical intimacy!) and how Orihime confessed to loving Rukia (emotional intimacy!), I just really like how Kubo decided to give them panel time to become really close friends. And maybe that cover of them together being all unashamed for their nakedness. :p

Ahaha, I love their friendship too, Hali. I loved how KT did it. For all the characters, but especially for Orihime and Rukia (2 main females XD), I remember reading Bleach through my first time and when I realized how deep their friendship was I couldn't help but think to myself "Wow, I can't even remember when it happened!" I think that's true great writing: when friendships are developed so gradually that you can't even remember when/how they happen, but you love how they're best friends now. ^_^ Hope that made sense...

Well I've certainly loved the friendship between Rukia and Orihime. I can't wait to see Kubo develop it more. Chapter 228 was a beautiful chapter and highlighted their growing friendship well. I want a flashback to their time in soul society! I want to see Orihime cook for Byakuya and Rukia watching Byakuya eat it trying to hold back her laughter. I did raise my eyebrow when Kubo showed them naked in the cover of chapter 228 and realized if there's any ship that is canon, it's this one. XD

What made you start liking RukiHime?

Actually....it began in Karakura arc, I was watching the anime how Orihime and Rukia interacted with each other during lunch and their walk to school. I always thought that it was Orihime who made Rukia first felt comfortable in the real world, dragging her into her circle of girl friends. It was so cute!!

And Orihime asking Ichigo where Rukia was, when she was captured to Soul Society, I just think Rukia and Orihime needs each other more than Rukia needs Ichigo.

And then, the cover picture of them being nude, and holding hands, made me like them even more. :DIt's like as if they can conquer the whole world, thing.

Rukia carressing Orihime's face.....man I doubt she has done that with anyone else, boy or girl.

Oh my gosh! I know! They're so cute together! I totally agree about Orihime being the first to actually bring Rukia into her comfort zone. :) Plus, when they were both walking together (in the anime, I remember...) they were just very cute.

I also loved Orihime's expression when she asked Ichigo why everyone had suddenly forgotten 'kuchiki-san'. She seemed so pissed about that, like she was blaming Ichigo. <- A huge part of me thinks that... lol

Both of them holding hands nude was so special and symbolic, to me. Their bond has grown very strong and it makes me squee. It's like they're so comfortable with each other that they can be naked beside each other. That's what I got from that cover page.

And yes, Rukia caressing Hime's face is just pure love to me. What touched my heart even more was Rukia's speech before 'dying'. You can tell how much the bond between her and Orihime means to her. She doesn't want Orihime going through the same thing she did and that's why she wants to do what she can to prevent it. *hugs Rukia* She's so awesome!

Not only that, Rukia surpassed Ichigo first in advancing Orihime first....by feeling her racks too....something I'm sure Ichigo or any other boys would never be seen doing.

They shouldn't be doing this too long, Kuchiki-san....your life is at stake. Grimmy-kun's head to must come down, because he instigated Kurosaki-kun not to go after you *pouts*. This is Noi-Noi's head, he tried to make a past on my breast, I'm so not forgiving when Kuchiki's life is at stake. And Renji....I chop, chop his head when he tells me he wants to be the only one who doing rescuing Kuchiki-san. Can you beat that? You are not his property, you're mine!!

Rukia:: Ishida?

Orihime:: He decides to join Aizen Sousuke after seeing me chop, chop Renji's head. I chop, chop his head but I decided not to bring his head along. He's not worth to restore back.

Rukia:: Restore?

Orihime:: Yeah, don't you know? I got Goddess Reject Power, restoring everything back to normal. Don't worry, even with just the head*waving Renji's head on the air*....I can bring back Renji alive and kicking hands and legs.

Rukia:: Oh, I see. You are indeed my Goddess of Sun.

Orihime:: And you, my Goddess Moon.*smooching, kissing* Wah!! *Gasping for air* Come on Kuchiki-san, let's go rescue Sado-kun. By the way, Kuchiki-san,....you want which part of Renji to be extra big?!

Why?

It all started as a crack pairing back when I first read the chapter where I saw Rukia drag Ichigo to apologize to Inoue. I saw how important that was to Rukia and I wondered, "What if Rukia-chan were to like Orihime?" I giggled at the thought and shrugged it off before my instant like of RukiHime popped up. Then, Chapter 228 comes out with Rukia caring and worried about why Orihime is crying and full of that nice stuff and my favor for this ship just sky rocketed. They were both so cute in that chapter and the cover for it was so sweet and sentimental. They are best friends and have a deep bond.

Though, I know that Rukia x Orihime won't happen (seeing as Inoue has feelings for Ichigo and Rukia has history and unanswered questions with Renji) but I still enjoy this ship. I love their friendship and I just love them together. :) So I continued reading Bleach then, chapter 269 just made me tear up.

I thought it was beautiful. I guess you can say I mostly support their DEEP and STRONG friendship that they have towards each other. :) But it's fun to pair them off and put them in silly and sexy situations! :D They're two beautiful girls, so why not?? Hmm looking back I think it was when Orihime asked Rukia to go to the fireworks festival and Rukia said "I'll think about it" and Orihime said don't always say that and waved her hand in the air. I loved that Orihime was trying to bring Rukia out of isolating herself. I remember when Rukia was gone I was like, oh no she's gonna miss the fireworks festival.

LOL I think I've said it before, my fave RukiHime moment was when Rukia copped a feel back in chapter 6. 'nuff said. XD

I want RukiHime flashback to SS. I also want RukiHime reunion 'cause without a doubt Orihime was the most shaken when Rukia was pierced by Aaronillo. She saw the whole thing after all. It will be cool to see these two hug. Orihime was the last face Rukia remembered before she passed out. As we all know, the last face a person remembers = love! XD

Oh my gosh! I know! (Also, sorry for letting this go to the third page... D: ) But yes! Orihime was the last person in Rukia's mind! The way she said, "Wait for me, I'm coming for you!" That touched my heart and made me tear up. And when Rukia fell, Orihime also fell too... I think? She said "No more, please" and gosh it was so heartbreaking! I want them to do that scene beautifully in the anime. Put good music in the background. <- That moment is the best to me and that's why I always talk about it, I just love it so!

As for the reunion, I'm positive Orihime would hug Rukia or something. Maybe even a few tears might come out. Kuchiki-san is a very important person in Orihime's life and Kubo shows it. Maybe at first she wasn't but throughout the series, she became one. *huggles RukiHime* Since everyone seems to be talking about chapter 300 and so forth as reunion chapters, I will too: I want my reunion now! :yell
