Wow... honestly, those are probably the best Bleach sketches I have ever seen. You definitely need a job drawing for animation companies or something of that sort. You have some a lot of talent.

Thanks ^^ I don't really have my own style, so I try to keep the sketches close to Tite Kubo's original anime styles.

And yanniv, I haven't managed to transfer my Halibel sketch along with a few others from my work computer where I store them. So I can't post them in photobucket or anything yet, and DA doesn't let me make thumbnails. Once I make the transfer I will post it, k? ^^

Heh, that's fine. I was just looking at all your sketches at DA and I was quite impressed with most of them. You pretty much get them to look exactly like Kubo's art. It's quite impressive. ^^

Wooooooooooo! I am finally getting scanner access back again! Sorry I haven't posted anything new in so long. I miss drawing Bleach...and I really need some good ones of Grimmjow and Kaien-dono...need Nel and Senna too...still owe ZMP some Renji pics as well. Anyway, expect more pictures, hopefully before the end of October.

Yay, update ^^ Finally able to post some new pictures. The quality is crappy and the person who is scanning these for me has an archaic scanner, so the contrast is really high...doesn't allow for much gray from my pen in the shading.

Thanks ^^ I've had plenty of time to practice without a scanner to post all my messups, lol. Plus the high contrast scanner helped elminate some of the unnecessary lines from my sketch and thicken the ones that were, so it looks better than it really is.

Update! I have Nel <3 in all her splendor. It was hard chosing a good panel to reference from, but this one looked really good and came out pretty good too, though her hair and ripped clothing were tricky...and I had to use nickels to make sure her boobies were not oblong shaped XD Normally all I need is a dime, but Nel is a bit demanding in size, lol.

No, I don't trace, I've just assimilated to Kubo's style of drawing. I can draw what I see for the most part, I can't deviate much, but I am practicing. I have a few non-manga Bleach drawings like my emo picture of Ulqui and a comic I don't have posted here. For the most part, I just find Kubo's style real easy to draw and since I never had my own style really, it's easy to use his.

Join the club, I have to rep like 8 other people before I can give you more XD So many people give me grief over the 'stereotypical' Johnny crush...there's a reason it's so 'stereotypical', lol.

Anyway, thanks ^^ Since I haven't had a scanner, I have been forced to redraw a lot of stuff to make it better before posting it. Some of my work looks like it's improving and the change in pens actually helped...and the high contrast scanner, lol.

Oi, don't get me started on Grimmy, lol. I love him to death, but damnit if he isn't one of the hardest characters to draw...it's the hair! It kills me! lol. I never get it right. I have been working on some pictures of him, but I never quite finish them because I stop once I get to the hair. I'm working on it though. I will get him some day...for now all I have is a sketch of his release and I REALLY need to redraw that one, lol.

I've got a pretty crappy scanner myself...actually it's a 3 in 1 thingie so it scans every little smudge you can barely see yourself and makes it extra dark once it's stored on the pc>.< Glad you use one which is not completely on crack like mine:D

His jaw is not too bad. I have found a rythm in drawing the teeth of his jaw, so after that, it's just a matter of getting the shape right. But yea, he has the most complex hair of any Bleach character I have ever seen! WTF? lol.

Awe, I'm sorry. Well, when I move I hope to save up for a good scanner that won't be so contrasty. This one shows no gray whatsoever and it drives me nuts! XD

Thanks ^^ I am working on it. Not too good at it yet. So far the best I can do outside of Bleach are messed up chibis and some anime-ish versions of people, but so far only one good portrait of me...

Nah, Kubo still does way better than me. Mine are sketches with misproportions and excess lines, like that last Ulqui one...his eyes are different shapes...bugs the crap outta me XD It's hard getting my art to be as perfect as his is...I so wanna take some art classes at my new college!
