You're welcome! Honestly honestly, this was the first ship I really got into. Way before I got into IchiHime, RukiHime, etch, HitsuHina was my first. :) I have a cheetaroloads of pictures of them and such and a bunch of fan made screencaptures and such. Heck, my greatestjournal layout is them! xD Then I discovered my OTP's xD and this one kind of went down. :( Especially after seeing what happened to poor Hinamori! ;-; But, it's nice to see Hitsugaya hanging in there for both her and him. :)

^ Agree. That's what happened. Used to be my super-favorite, but then the other pairings kicked in, and they don't show in the current arc, so... yep.

And you should see, I've written like, many one-shots of them. But I still like them. <3
And I'm rooting for Hitsugaya to hang in there and wait for Hina to realize. Might take awhile, but yep.

Wow I loved your fanfictions Shannon. I loved the chat-up lines from Hitsugaya. Both of them seemed in character as well. I laughed out loud through the two :) Also having them drunk is a good way to have some artistic license with the characters I loved them :)

Doubt it. Too emotionally difficult, is my guess. Hm... Maybe she'll come in a little later, but probably not the initial attack. We'll see.

But I do think Hitsu will fight Gin. Which may have some importance to the relationship... 'Cause Gin threatened her 'n' all.

I don't think Hitsu can take on Gin honestly, Aizen, Gin and Tousen are the 3 biggest threats for the "bad guys". A more powerful captain would take them on, like Shunsui, Byakuya or Ukitake.

Hopefully next time we see Hinamori she'll be more appreciative to Hitsu ^^

Favourite moment? There haven't been that many, to be honest. Everytime they interact, they seem to be angry...
But I do like when Hitsugaya first speaks, and suprises Hinamori... Y'know when she's looking over Renji.
Another one that I like, it was only on the Audio Action CD. Just when Hitsu first goes to Shinigami school, and these older kids are being mean to him/Hinamori... It's awesome.

May I join this FC? I really like this couple. In fact, Hitsugaya and Hinamori were the first couple I liked in Bleach. I like their childhood friendship and how much Hitsugaya cares about Hinamori. I think some fans don't give Hinamori enough credit. When Renji and Kira obeyed orders and fled with the other students, Hinamori stood her ground and convinced the other two to come to Hisagi's aid. Hinamori worshipped Aizen but everyone else in SS also thought he was great which I think reinforced her admiration. While it's really sad that she doesn't believe Aizen is the mastermind I am not surprised her first reaction is denial. She worked hard to become Aizen's vice captain and felt close to him; to acknowledge that Aizen intended to murder her and Hitsugaya and plotted against SS would be a refutation of her existing goal of serving under Aizen. I think only Hitsugaya can bring Hinamori around to the realization that Aizen is the mastermind. I hope we see the two of them after the HM arc ends.Welcome to the HitsuHina FC! <3! My favrite HitsuHina moment is probably when Hinamori turned on Hitsugaya. It was so bittersweet. The way he still wanted to prtect her from Gin and how she was so confused.

Yeah, he has. So there's a high high chance that he's gone to visit Hinamori and spent some time with her... but I don't know. What if she just asks him if he'll really kill Aizen? I think that might make Hitsugaya a bit awkward, especially when he says yes. Unless of course Hinamori has decided to stop asking about Aizen.

I think it would be cute to see Hitsugaya watching over her while she's in the infirmary or something. :)

Who knew Hitsugaya was a closet perv, paying attention to boobs? :D He's always so businesslike with everyone else. My favorite HitsugayaxHinamori moment was when he told Gin he would kill him if he made Hinamori bleed. :love

And yes, only Hinamori can make Hitsugaya smile and relax. That's why I think she's the only one for him.

I think Hinamori and Hitsugaya are going to play a big role in the Winter War.
Hinamori's angst calls out for some resolution.

StarryInoueSky, I definitely think Hinamori would be the first person Hitsugaya would visit upon coming back to Soul Society. The last time he watched over her was when she was unconscious and on life support. I think he will want to see her in person now that she is conscious. I hope Kubo shows Hitsugaya and Hinamori in the next arc.

Well, you can't blame Hitsugaya for noticing since Matsumoto is his vice captain. :D I just found it surprising that he mentioned her size to get a rise out of her. Poor Hinamori looked so physically and emotionally fragile during their conversation. Hopefully her friends Kira, Matsumoto and of course Hitsugaya will be able to help her get better. Unfortunately, I don't know what it will take for Hinamori to realize Aizen's true nature.

Chap Goh Mei is a Hokkien term for ‘fifteenth day for the first lunar month, the first full month of the New Year. This occasion is marked by various festivities, namely Lantern Festival, Chinese Valentine Day Festival and eating tangyuan(normally done on Winter Solstice Day). These different festive celebrations have their own separate celebrate date, but somehow they are brought together to be celebrated on one day.

Lantern Festival >> There are two types of Chinese Lantern Festival, one that is celebrated on 15/first lunar moon and the other one is celebrated on 15/eighth lunar moon.

The First Lantern Festival(15/1)
Long time ago, an emperor dreamt about his home palace being burned down, believing that it was a bad omen. Some of the court officials used the emperor’s dream as an opportunity to set thousands of concubines and female servants free from the home palace, by telling the emperor to that the dream was indeed a bad omen and the palace would be burnt down to the ground by deities. In order to avoid impending disaster, each female resident in the imperial palace must carry a lantern and go home, thus fooling the deities in believing there was already a fire in palace and people were fleeing, and every one would return to the palace afterwards. The emperor agreed and of course, there was no fire at the palace and the emperor credited the supposedly successful aversion of the disastrous fire with what was done, and hence he decreed the event to become a regular festival. As a result, the festival eventually became a family reunion day(the girls went back respectively to their homes) when it merged with other Chinese traditions of various regions in China over time.

The Second Lantern Festival(15/8)
It is sometimes referred as Mid-Autumn Festival. Originally intended for friends and families to gather together, to eat moon cakes and pomeloes and enjoy admiring the bright mid-autumn harvest moon(which happen to be the brightest and roundest throughout the whole year). Mid-Autumn Festival also has a romantic Chinese eternal love story that is similar to the Tanabata story, about a couple(HouYi and Chang Er) who were separated from each other and could only come together during the Mid-Autumn Festival, when the moon itself is in it’s fullest and brightest (bright mid-autumn harvest moon).

Chinese Valentine Day (15/1)
Chinese Valentine Day is also celebrated on Chap Goh Mei, but on a smaller scale in compared to the other festival during the Chinese New Year. However in compared to the other Chinese Valentine Day (7/7, Tanabata), the former one is preferred because Chinese Valentine Day (7/7) falls during the Chinese Ghost Month (possibly they don’t want to mingle love and ghost together, or making their love to be forbidden). It is also my opinion, that Chap Goh Mei is a much more happier occasion than 7/7 Chinese Valentine day, because there is no rain, and unmarried girls would be able to go out and meet their prospect suitors on a date throughout the whole night. In certain places, the girls would throw tangarines into the river / sea in hope that the tangarines that they throw, would be picked up by their fated partners.

Rules & Regulations:
Chap Goh Mei Night is also a Chinese Valentine Day, like Tanabata 7/7 Night, but with a slight difference. The moon on Chap Goh Mei is a full moon, while the Tanabata moon is a sickle moon.

RenjixRukia is the main couple for the love contest Chap Goh Mei. As it is a Chinese Valentine Day, your other favourite couples, other than RenjixRukia are welcomed to ‘join in’ the festival fun, the more coupling the merrier. Provided the other couple is not the rivaled coupling for RenjixRukia. No IchigoxRukia, RenjixHinamori, RenjixOrihime, RenjixIchigo, RukiaxOrihime pairing are allowed allowed. Maybe a slight ByakuyaxRukia is allowed.

You can do anything on RenjixRukia Chap Goh Mei; you can even have Renji and Rukia in a Halloween/Christmas/Thanksgiving, with a condition that there is no element of rain, no sickle moon (full moon is better) inside.

Try breaking out the usual norm for RenjixRukia coupling.

It's time to revive our moribund FC now that we have something to talk about. I am loving the new chapter with the backstory on Hitsugaya. I was hoping Hinamori would make more of an appearance in this chapter but it was still good to see them together. I liked how Hitsugaya and Hinamori both loved and respected their grandma and even though Hinamori went off to become a shinigami she did come back to visit them. It's awesome that only the grandma and Hinamori were the only ones not afraid of Hitsugaya. Well I found Hitsu x Hina cute especially during the SS arc. I love how they are childhood friends, and they definetley care about each other. Like how Hitsugaya chases after Momo to help her etc.

I like chapter 224, where they just simply have a nice conversation.

Until she brings up Aizen, Hinamori is acting very loose and normal around Hitsugaya, and we get to see a nicer, more fun-loving side to him. It's the first regular interaction we see between them, other that the brief flashbacks we had, and it shows an open and playful side to their relationship that had, until that point, not really been shown.

I just over-answered, but meh. >_>;

HitsuxHina is made of pure cuteness, but I like it more when they are older. I have the feeling that they really are best friends at the moment, or even a bit more, but nothing compared to "real" love. Nevertheless Hitsu being so possessive over her is so heartwarming. He will fall in love with her for sure in the future. All Hinamori has to do is come over Aizen and open her eyes to notice, that her "prince" is already right beside her. :love

I don't like it when those HitsuxMatsu-fans say, that Hitsu will fight Aizen for Matsu or that Matsu so so important to him, because she was the reason he became a Shinigami. That's all just wrong! She was the one who said that Hitsu SHOULD become a Shinigami, because she'd noticed his powers. Every other Shinigami would have done the same. She IS a very dear friend of him but not as far as precious as Momo is. :crazy Aizen nearly killed Momo, his precious childhood friend he'd been protecting since ever. When he will go nuts enough to try fighting Aizen, then because of Momo and not Matsu. :errYeah, poor Hitsu when Hinamori said that =( poor girl:(

This is the first pairing I liked when I got into Bleach :love!

I just loved the deep friendship they have that makes Hitsugaya want to protect her and if only Aizen did not messed up Hinamori at this point....she would be a lot happier :(.....Hopefully, she will get better :D!

I like chapter 224, where they just simply have a nice conversation.

Until she brings up Aizen, Hinamori is acting very loose and normal around Hitsugaya, and we get to see a nicer, more fun-loving side to him. It's the first regular interaction we see between them, other that the brief flashbacks we had, and it shows an open and playful side to their relationship that had, until that point, not really been shown.

I just over-answered, but meh. >_>;

Me too, but there are lots and lots of High-school-fic on ff.net at the moment. I know: there are plenty of fans who like this and I'm absolutely fine with that, but I'm not one of them. I just dislike AU-stories, because the characters are set into another dimension and in most cases their character do not really fit and what's the result? OoC-ness... Maybe I've just read too many bad AU-stories. :headscratch

I'd really like to see Hitsugaya at least have some physical contact with Hinamori sometime, like just to hold her or just a hug since it's unlikely they'll end up together in the story =( but we can dream! <3 It would just be so satisfying to see that:cryI wants that! I'd give anything!

First of all: This was Hitsus most caring/warm/etc look EVER! I was stuck in awe when I've read it and it's still one of my most favorite moments in Bleach. This moment showed us, how precious Momo is too him. He was acting with so much caution and was really different as when he's talking to someone else. You've just noticed that he was happy to see her again and tried everything to make her happy and feel better, because he knows her. He knows everything about her and he noticed how fragile she really was, so he was very carefull not to make her feel bad. He even jocked. That's something we've got barely to see.
Then there was this matter with this sentence: "It's not Hitugaya-kun, it's Hitsugaya-Taichou." Fact is: she was happy to hear that and she was even a bit shocked to hear that. I mean: she's been calling him "Hitsugaya-kun" the whole time and NOW he reminds her that he's captain and she calemd down. I think, he said that, because it's something familiar. He correcting her is something he has done since they were little kids. Maybe it reminded her of the old times, when everything was fine, because this was the moment she started to talk about Aizen. The "good" Aizen from her memories, who was nice and caring.

My take would be that Hinamori might appear when it involves her doing something reckless (she still believes that Aizen is innocent), like if Aizen does manage to open the dimension to go to the Sould Society King....she may follow him and put herself in danger :(......I bet she would be shocked on Aizen's new hairstyle and menacing-looking eyes :cry.....

Personally, since the battle has reached its peak....I am not so sure that Hitsugaya had the time to visit Hinamori (Bleach's timeline was like what....1 or 2 days since the shinigami went back to Soul Society and Ichigo went into Hueco Mundo?)......

If he did at this point, he would be emotional (angry) at Aizen for making Hinamori suffer so much and get himself killed :sweat....so yeah.....But I do think that Aizen may taunt Hitsugaya that he is still alive and asks if "Hinamori-kun" made it as well.....

Hitsugaya was wearing a shirt with the #46 in ep. 132.

I know this belongs in the Hinamori FC but I post it here anyway. When Hinamori used her zanpaktou against gin, why did it hit the building instead of gin? Did she do that on purpose?

I think Hinamori was emotionally distraught so she was not fighting with focus against Gin. Alternatively, it could be that Gin can move faster than her, being a captain, so he moved out of the way when she tried to aim her energy blast at him.

Hitsugaya is clearly has a crush on Hinamori (a romantic one, not in brotherly kind of love nor the platonic one)

Hinamori is still blind to his love because of Aizen, but she does care for him more than anybody else she know...

but IMO HitsuHina has one of the strongest bond in bleach, they do have history and chemistry to be a romantic couple...

More platonic. They're still at a friendship stage, but like mentioned, I think that Hitsugaya has a crush on Hinamori, ever since they lived together in Rukongai.

Like Nacchan mentioned, she is oblivious to Hitsugaya's feelings towards her and her feelings toward him. Mostly due to the fact that she was so hung up over Aizen, and still is.

Well....since this is shonen and romance is not the focus.....

I think Hinamori has to get over her troubles on her own (most characters so far....even Rukia....had to get over their fears on their own power).....But Hinamori may start to think that she is not alone and will think of all the friends she has (and one of her most significant ones will be Hitsugaya :love).....

The way I view their relationship right now is.....somewhat platonic.....But even his bonus chapter (for the movie) showed how sad he was and even used a metaphor in the beginning that he hears a voice drifting away like thunder....like a flower brushing against his hand :love......Shows how precious she is to him :cry....

But I just love seeing Hitsugaya acting his "age" when he is with Hinamori :love.....

Chapter 224 showed that he can joke around (only with Hinamori) and shows a very soft side of him toward her.....:love!

Yeah, hopefully Hinamori can regain strength. She has to I'm sure! Since it is fated that good will overcome evil, she must overcome her grief caused by Aizen! She must! Hitsu can help a lot with that. If I wrote Bleach I'd have him visiting her everyday and hugging and kissing her and making sure she's alright:inlove:fangirlahhhhhhh! ^_^[/fanboy]

It is quite platonic at the moment I think:uhuhwith the bonus chapter, I'm pretty sure the "it brushes against my hand like a flower" was referring to Hyourinmaru and how Hitsu was close to realising his existence.

Hitsugaya is always light hearted and joking with Hinamori:yayit's the only person he jokes with, besides Matsumoto. I love how Hinamori is the only person to make him smile besides his grandma:inlove

I'm not sure. But it's SS and all the shingiamis and souls look way younger than they do. Look at Rukia, she looks like a teenager, yet we know that she's waaaay older than that

I think Hitsugaya is the only person that will be able to get Hinamori to understand that Aizen was evil all along. Hinamori knows that he is there for her and trusts him. She knew she was wrong to doubt Hitsugaya and to attack him.

I suspect Kira has a crush on Hinamori as well by how he acted around her in school. But of course, the childhood friendship between Hitsugaya and Hinamori make them the best fit. :XD I think Hitsugaya is the only one that will make Hinamori finally realize that Aizen's been bad all along.

I did found it odd that Kira wanted to visit Matsumoto to apologize, yet did not visit Hinamori (Renji did not either)......

But oh well.......

I think she may be getting some counselling from Nanao (the databooks mention that Nanao visits her often during her hospitalization and spend time together reading books) or someone.....so she may be somewhat okay....but not completely over the Aizen fiasco, yet :cry.....

Welcome ashido fan! Poor Kira was getting drunk to get over his guilt about hurting Hinamori and to get over Gin's betrayal so he didn't visit Hinamori when she was in a coma. Kira likely didn't want to see her in her coma state.

All the more reason it's touching that Hitsugaya visited Hinamori just to look over her even if he didn't know what to say. :love

As for Renji, I guess he was busy spending time with Byakuya while he was recuperating and perhaps mending his ties with Rukia.

It's quite possible that Renji and Kira visisted Hinamori when she was in her coma but Kubo wanted to emphasize the bond between Hitsugaya and Hinamori so he only showed Hitsugaya.
