A club dedicated to that group of vizards we know and love.
Vizards, as you all know, are a group of rogue shinigami that have obtained hollow powers illegally. "Vizard" is an archaic English word for "a mask worn to disguise the face."
Let's all share our ideas about the Vizards real intentions/purpose. They must have a purpose, if not Tite Kubo wouldn't have bothered to create them or make them too detailed. The Vizards are full of secrets and up until now nothing has been revealed. What does Tite Kubo have planned for this group of Rogue shinigami?

My guess as to what Kubo's purpose for them is: I'm betting the Vizard will have a large role later on, closer to the end of the series. I doubt they will have a big for this or the next arc.

It's kind of sad that the Vizard don't get much participation. First time I saw them I felt like I was gonna see so much more of them at that moment. But as the series progressed I was disappointed to see they have completely disappeared from the storyline. (Atleast for now)

The Vizards will have the biggest role in Bleach seeing as Ichigo is a Vizard himself.

And besides, Bleach has made it appear that you need to be a hybrid in order to become one of the strongest. I only see Vizard vs. the strongest of the Espada and Aizen. I'm not going to count on the Gotei13 to do much of anything.

@yanniv- I was pretty much thinkin' the same thing. Besides the main characters...or the nakama squad as I call them, I really think it'll be the Vaizards we see a lot of when fightin' the higher level arrancar. I mean, the Captains are strong an' all, but the way they've portrayed so far seems t' indicate that they won't play the main role in defeatin' the higher levels.

Here's a random question- on average, who do you think is stronger the espada or vizard?

Assuming aizen, gin and tousen isn't included in that espada I'd say vizards. BUT, it's honestly too early to tell. Kinda hard to tell since we haven't seen MUCH from either side. Guess vizards being stronger is wishful thinking on my part. :p

I agree. We can't really tell which side is stronger yet.
but look at my reasoning (NOTE: When Im trying to make a point, its really hard for me to explain myself. Please take this into consideration.)

Ulquiorra (4th espada) beat Ichigo in a matter of seconds. Ichigo faught GJ (6th Espada) and "won". Ichigo cant beat Vizards. Vizards powers are from GJ to probably the 1st ranking espada. I think that's right. Or maybe they are even stronger. I dont know; Thats what I think.

I know we haven't seen enough from either side to make this decision.

The main thing that got me thinking about this, was that Ichigo could clearly use his mask for a longer time in the GJ fight (but not the Ulquiorra fight). I think that now Ichigo is among the stongest of the Vizard, but isn't stronger than half of the espada.

I think just like the Gotei 13 Taichos Vizards will have a huge part to play in the upcoming arc . Also I think the mask and cero are tip of the iceberg in Vizard powers .

Either Shinji (he just seems like the vizard leader and the strongest one) or Hachi (because he has Inoue-like powers), but in terms of powers and strength it's Shinji all the way.

I was talking to some friends of mine today and one of them brought up the fact that Vizards and Arrancars both are half shinigami half hollow. So then, the question. Vizard and Arrancars: are their powers equal?

I think arrancars are stronger cause we haven't see vizards in action (except from shinji) on the other hand all the action of bleach(current)is the fight with the arrancars so i say arrancars

What a great question. I think that vaizards are stronger, mainly because they can have a bankai, but a vastolorde arrancar will be the best.

I also wouldn't say that they are both half and half. More like 66% of their original state and 33% of the new one:D Yay for numbers:cool:

They are both Captains, but Aizen's soul has a higher limit to how much he can learn rather than Hitsugaya, who appears to be almost maxed out according to the new Official Bootleg stats that just got released.

So, the Vizard and Arrancar, one may be stronger than most of the other side, and vise versa. It truly does just depend on the soul's limit to how much they can grow and gain.

By shounen logic, they have to be stronger than the current espada atleast. because their combative ability has yet to be revealed to any true degree. Unless you count Hiyori vs Ichigo and Shinji vs GJ not to mention training Ichigo. If that was his big reveal then I am disappointed.

This reminds me of the gap between captains and 3rd seats (recalls Chad mentioning it once).

So they wouldn't be equal in power, just equal in status. This brings me to a conclusion. Soul Reapers are very well trained with the arts of Kidô and swordsmanship. A shinigami learns its sword's name and technically becomes one with it, for they fight as one. When a Shinigami goes through the process of hollowfication (or w/e), they become stronger and gain a hollows abilities. They train with with their new found abilities and actually get very good at using them (extremely good).
A Hollows powers are mostly attack, eat, slash, bite and, of course, cero. Gaining a shinigami's powers doesn't mean gaining all of their abilities. They don't learn kidô(fromm what I've seen); they just get the form of a human (leaving out the holes) and a zanpaku-tô. An arrancar mostly specializes in the powers they knew as a hollow. The zanpaku-tô's realeased form of an arrancar is actually them turning to their original form. It's true that they become more powerful with them becoming arrancars. But when you think about it, it's pretty obvious who the ones with the most power are: The Vizards. So my friends I think I've said enough. I'll just let you to do your thinking ^__^.

Vizards are awesome!!! I think all of them are really powerful and strong, and I don't think we could compare them in terms of strength. Like this girl with green hair, I am so sorry I forgot her name, can stay in Hollow form for 15 HOURS!
And the thing that they can use cero is just awesome. I am sure when Ichigo learns cero, that'll be it! He'd pwn everyone:)

And I kinda think Vizards are just a little stronger than Arrancar. Well, the higher Arrancar, like 1st, 1nd, 3rd. Seeing as how Ichigo was totally defeated by Cuarto Ulquiorra makes me think that first, 2nd and 3rd Espada are unreachable. And I think Shinji is stronger than Ichigo, for now, at least.
