As of recently: Kirby & The Amazing Mirror (GBA)

A seriously fun game. Lol. This is the first Kirby game I've ever played and up till now I never ever dreamed of taking Kirby seriously. But seeing my brother play it kind of inspired me to pick it up myself...and now, I'm on the verge of getting caught up and hooked.

Ikaruga - I usually don't like really hard games, but it's strangely addictive. Then again, I loved this game's spiritual prequel, Radiant Silvergun. Treasure FTW!

It is quite interesting, the DS...when it told me that I needed to 'blow' the flames, I spent half an hour slashing at it (as sometimes you are to do in a regular Zelda game)...but of course, it meant YOU had to literally blow into your DS... -__-

I love those parts of the DS! There are monsters in one temple where to beat them you have to blow into the mic. In that one instance you have to close the DS to "press" a symbol down. I just got the DS, too.

Oh yeah...playing Brain Age, too. My brain sucks more than I thought.

Finally finished the Easy mode on Ikaruga. Now to tackle the Normal mode. Chapter 4 is absolutely the hardest thing I've ever experienced in videogames.

Otherwise, more Treasure games: Gunstar Heroes (oldskool action), Alien Soldier (WAY TOO HARD) and Guardian Heroes (cool graphics). Bless the Wii's Virtual Console.

Sleuthing and puzzle solving in Hotel Dusk. Pretty good. The puzzle/text ratio is a bit skewed though, and the puzzles themselves aren't really challenging so far (I'm at Chapter 4). The dialogue and characters are great, however. The artwork is fantastic as well.

well yes, many say it gets boring... though if ur in a good guild like im fortunate to be in, we have guild events, sieges almost every week, time attacks. and stuff so it stays fun ~ pk wars, hunting a dood, dh3u [he player kills noobs so its an excuse, he has 10+ guilds after him]

though dueling and the auction house still needs work and the guild wars is yet to come ~ should be fixed in epic 5 or 6 i hear ~ but hey, its free with awesome graphics [/rant]

got something new, Sunage, really nice game, some uniqe gameplay elements and the design is so retro, beautiful 2d sprites in a world where infantry actually take cover and have some advantage over big machines. every unit have a secondary mod for example a recon car have assualt mode and deep scanning, infentry have regular assualt and sniper, seems like a complex game and a little hint, if you get it then patch it straight away cuz the first version is too hard, seriously i lost in the totorial! its the most brutal totorial ever seriously!
they just drop you behind enemy lines and you dont have time to even read their instructions because the enemy is everywhere and they overwhelm you both in numbers and firepower. 3 races, human, mutants, machines.

Everyone that has a Wii: Please, buy NO MORE HEROES. It's absolutely stunning. The main character's an otaku and the game has plenty of anime/manga-inspired elements, so I guess most forum members here should already be interested to some degree.

It's most definitely not some mindless Western hack-'n-slash. It's more like a Japanese parody on traditional gaming. The ending cutscene(s) alone are already deeper and more profound than any other game I've ever played. (Yes, it's a lot better than Wacko Hideo's drivel, and a lot more fun than Killer7's political intrigue.) Just buy this game. It's on par with Mario Galaxy as the best Wii game yet, and it's certainly one of the best games of this generation so far.

Been playing FF7 on the PS3, putting in at least 7 hrs a day for the past 4 days. Spent about 20 hrs on disc 1 leveling up my characters and getting whatever available limit breaks I can. I think I had all 4 limit breaks for at least 3 characters (Aeris, Red XIII, Yuffie). Finished the first disc with cloud being at level 48. I was currently running through disc 2, but decided to stop near the end and do some chocobo breeding, just got a green chocobo :D

I'm re-re-re-re....let's just say I've beaten it a lot...playing GTA: San Andreas in anticipation for GTAIV. Who says graphics make a game? SA's graphics were never top dog, and they pale in comparison to current gen games, but none of that matters. The graphics work for the game (plus it's too huge to make too flashy on the PS2) and you realize that they don't matter with one of the best stories ever written.

The Metal Gear Solid Essential Collection, in anticipation for MGS4. just got 'call of cthulhu: dark corners of the earth' this is such a creepy game, the insanity element (if you see too much horrors you go insane, forever) is awsome and the game is so eerie. another amazing thing is the lack of HUD, it actually makes the game much more scary and the injury system is really intresting(diffrent remedies to diffrent injuries)

basicly sooner or later you will get a powerup of summoning a second shadow thing that follow and fight for you, when you finish the game you get to chose to have infinite energy. that mean you can have the shadow thing all the time and by pressing some buttons you can cotrol him with the second cotroller BUTTTT.......it really is badly executed.

Finally got The World Ends With You. This game rocks. The gameplay is very deep and it's drenched in a lovely (non-obnoxious) J-Pop style. I love how the game's restricted to Shibuya. I'm sick of RPGs that want to travel across the whole world, just to make the game feel "epic". I can also tolerate the Nomura designs for a change. Seems like SquareEnix isn't creatively bankrupt after all.

I'm also playing some Alundra (for the PSX) on the side. Pretty good for a Zelda-clone. The writing's a bit... "full of it" though. It's trying to be very literate, which just doesn't really fit with a Medieval Fantasy game like this. All your fancy words aren't going to change the fact that it's about a pointy-eared anime elf fighting your typical fantasy monsters. Regardless, gameplay is rock solid. Graphics and monster design is quite nice too.

just got Sword of the stars, its an 4x game (explore, expand, exploit, exterminate) with only 5 races to chose from but each race have its own uniqe way of space travel from every known space game, be it wormholes, hyperdrive, ripping holes in space or generation ships. the random encounter in the games are amazing, you can develop AI that will improve everything you have but have a small chance to rebel against you every turn (learned that at the cost of half my empire) there are energy based cretuares that kidnap your population from your planet, alien drones that suck matter with weird beams and just phase out your ships, swarms of insects that fly from planet to planet and build more hives.

another amazing aspect is the tech tree, it change each game so that you never get all techs, each race will have diffrent tech and diffrent advantage at each game. also its nice how the game kinda force you to act like your race (slow travel for slower expansion for the older wiser race where humans have faster travel that cause greater expansion (and pissing alien races) or teh Zuul constant depletion of resources which forcing them to conquer more)

Oy, everyone with a Wii needs to download LostWinds off WiiWare. It's a great little game. Maybe a bit short (3 hours), but the gameplay is great. Good puzzles, cute graphics and a lovely, relaxing atmosphere accentuated by soothing music. It's a very interesting take on the platform/puzzler/exploration genre with the use of the Wiimote. It's worth your money!

I'm playing Wario Land 3 for the GameBoy Color. A bit weird, but I felt like playing a good old Wario Land game again. Wario Land 5 has been announced for the Wii! A classic 2D(!!!) adventure/platformer. Fantastic news if you ask me. Nintendo has some balls to release a retail (not WiiWare) 2D console game, and I think it's fucking awesome.
