Can anyone suggest a good film?

I was hoping for something Horror or something around the lines of "Signs".

Pirates of Carribean 3:At the world ends
Transformers
300
The number 23

Nightmare, those aren't really close to what doogle was wanting. XD The number 23 is though.

I would suggest The Reaping with Hilary Swank. It was rather enjoyable for a suspense movie. The added mystery element and end of the world type setting kept me entertained.

The closest thing to horror I've seen in a long time was Saw. It was more suspense but check it out, it's a great movie.

Shaun of the Dead

It's a parody of horrors, and it's absolutely AMAZING. Funniest horror comedy you'll find anywhere. ^.^

The first time I saw the ring I almost had a heart attack. It was this scene where this woman was talking, and suddenly they flashed a freaky-faced girl in the bathroom screaming. I swear that my heart was about to pop out.

Movies I recommend are The Mummy & The Mummy returns.

Sometimes, the classics need a mention... here's a short list from me:

The Adventures of Robin Hood -- 1938 version with Errol Flynn and Olivia DeHaviland. Best Robin Hood film, period. IMHO, at least.

Singin' In The Rain -- 1951 release. Gene Kelly, Donnald O'Conner, adn Debbie Reynolds. probably one of the best musicals from the era when they were done the best.

Tron -- Yes, the graphics are a little rough, but this was the first movie to use computers to make special effects. yes, it's rough, but it's also a dazzling story and the movie that opened the door for modern-day companies like Dreamworks adn Pixar. Definitely need to check it out.

That's a start for now... I'll update the list later on as I come up with other movies. :D

i have another one:

All about My Pet- it's a japanese movie, revolves around the story of a girl and her dog. really touching and just hang on to a box of tissue near the end of the movie. i've seen it more than twice and it still gives the same after-effect~

more to come >.>

In Bruges:

I laughed throughout the film it really was very very funny, while encountering darker issues of guilt and depression. Good watch and a good laugh. All three actors, Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson, and Ralph Fiennes were excellent tthroughout. I highly recommend this movie.

I love how people are just spitting out recommendations that have nothing to do with what he even wants.

If you check out any 'scary' movie that has a Japanese counterpart, you should actually watch the Japanese one.

Like the Grudge, Dark Water. They sucked when made into an American Version.

The Saw Movies are good. I did not see the last one though. Now they're just milking the franchise. -__-

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the remake) was very good. Scared the crap out of me.

Old school scary movies: Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, Halloween. Those are the best scary movies.

Well that's all I have for ya. I hope you find something worth watching.

I liked Lady in the Water and The Prestige a lot. Although The Prestige is something you can't really watch more than once. :(

As far as horror movies go...I don't really watch many of them, because I'm a pussy and the sound of beetles on The Mummy scared me, but I'll try:
-The Ring
-The Haunting
Those two were pretty good, I thought.

I'm sure everyone's seen this one, but the movie "The Crow" was my favorite movie of all time, it's more of a tragedy than a horror movie, but one of the best movies I've ever seen none the less.

R.I.P Brandon Lee..
