This is where we can talk about the content and quality of the latest episodes for the One Piece anime.
I think the Vergo-Law fight was better than it was before. Too bad we can't have the animation be that good as consistently.

The problem with the anime at present is that the 1/1 ratio (chapter episode) is no longer viable, everything DRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGS.
Also, although this is not really anime related, this is a second arc in a row (don't read the manga) in which luffy hasn't really had a challenging fight. He can basically one punch demolish anything thrown at him up to this point. The only thing stopping him is that it seems necessary for him to get angry (motivated?) enough to actually go all out. This really can't measure up to epic fights in the past which he won mostly on tenacity, chipping away at his foes one little bloody piece after the other with his indomitable will ...
Speaking of Law, the whole arc, but the last episode especially, made me wonder if luffy could even pose a challenge to him were they to fight. If so that would imply that his haki is on a completely different level compared to say vargo.
A related tangent is smoker: I guess I was hoping for an epic fight between him and luffy eventually, but now either luffy has grown way too powerful for it to be interesting, or that it doesn't make sense for law to team up with him (as if he is on par with smoker, and law can whoop his ass with his pinkie basically, why should he bother with luffy ....)
