HERE ARE THE RULES FOR THE FC: PLEASE READ THEM AND BEHAVE ACCORDINGLY

*If you do not like a pairing DO NOT post in that pairing FC. If you read the fanclub and want to discuss something that was said then sort it out via PM or elsewhere, do NOT go into that fanclub and start a war. Anyone posting in a pairing fanclub that isn't a fan will almost automatically recieve a ban.

*You can discuss other pairings but when others discuss your pairing negatively and you don't like it sort it out through pm, if you break the above rule to start a flame war it's an instant ban.

*Neg reps to rival pairing fc posts over such things won't be tolerated. I consider this being in an FC of a pairing you don't like therefore breaking a rule.

*I'd suggest just totally not reading the fc of the pairing you don't like but I know that is never gonna happen. You all wanna be able to talk about other pairings so much well fine but just be prepared for others to do it about your favourite pairing also. These rules were changed as per YOUR wishes so don't come complaining to me when you decide you don't like the change.

Ch27: Ichigo and Rukia at Don Kanonji. Ichigo noting Rukia having gentle side to her. First time access to Ichigo's thoughts of Rukia.
Ch33: Ichigo, Rukia and friends were brought to the principal's office for showing up on National TV. Rukia got them out of trouble, Ichigo and Rukia walking next to each other and in Ichigo fidgeting about the possibility of rumours being close to Rukia.
Ch34: Ichigo getting nervous when he feels rumours spread about him and Rukia. XD (Refer Chapter 7, Ichigo told Mizuiro that he doesn't care what other people thinks of him, but this chapter he became inconsistent and anxious about the rumours. XD) Slight Ichigo --> Rukia.

Volume 6:
Ch52: Rukia is running away, and remembers the lunch she had with the girls. Slight Rukia --> Ichigo.

Volume 7:
Ch53: Ichigo worries, and find her with Renji and Byakuya.
Ch54: Ichigo-Renji first fight. Renji explaining how Rukia protected him by going out. ^^
Ch55: Rukia understanding Ichigo's reaction, and still wanting him safe, helps him out. He freaks out, and is about to defeat Renji when Byakuya helps his VC.
Ch56: Rukia wanting to be by Ichigo's side, who is deeply injured. Ending up helping him and saving him. Is taken away, leaving Ichigo in despair.
Ch57: Ichigo's despair (not wanting to live anymore) and resolution to go and save Rukia, to become stronger for her.
Ch58: Ichigo's sad when he understands that no one reminds of Rukia, and left pondering when he realises that the world still continue to live without her.

Volume 9:
Ch79: feel the life coming back to Rukia when Renji told her about Ichigo barging in. ^^

Volume 10:
Ch81: Ichigo's talking with Ganjuu about Rukia, slight Ichigo --> Rukia.

Volume 11:
Ch94: pure IchiRuki goodness, brought by Hanatarou and Ichigo reminding Rukia.
Ch95: Ichigo and Renji second fight ^^ Ichigo saying that he doesn't care about his opponents, and he'll save Rukia.

Volume 12:
Ch105: Ganjuu insist on going to save Rukia, because that's what Ichigo wants the most.
Ch106: Chad explains that Ichigo went all out for Rukia, just to save her
Ch110: Ichigo's resolve to fight and save Rukia saved him against Zaraki (Zangetsu bringing him into his world).

Anyway, I'm so glad to see that we have some funny moments back in the manga. I think that's what I miss the most in Bleach is the comedy, especially with Ichigo and Rukia. But this will suffice. Ichigo looks so stupid when he turns to look at Orihime, like...er...sorry bout that, or something on his face. And then he lifts Orihime over his should :rotflmao(big lol moment) and then the way KT drew her outfit with the whole in her pants/skirt (shame on me, I know) and then Nell beating up Ichigo. Poor guy, he can't catch a break. And then I saw Noitora and all I can think about is what someone posted way back about colgate and his smile. :rotflmao I just laughed and laughed. :nuts

Okay, enough now. I guess I'll just go and disappear for a while. I think the next episode of Bleach should be out, so I'm gonna go and check it out.

Ichigo and Rukia are so alike. They would risk their lives for their friends. Their speeches are even alike. In my eyes, Ichigo, Chad, and Rukia have the best personalities of any character in the series. It's obvious that IchiRuki will happen, and Chad is likely to be Ichigo's best man. <3 P.S. This could be me fanboying. Nevertheless, it's been hinted at that Ichigo's personality and Rukia's personality are similar yet they combine to form a more holistic personality or self.

Ichigo was so bothered about Rukia sitting on his bed but when he carried Orihime that way, he doesn't even care and think much about it while Orihime was blushing away.

Anyway, I'm so anxious to see Ichigo saving Rukia. That excitement was reaching to the top but it sank when another arrancar appeared. I don't want another fight too! I want Ichigo to see Rukia's state when he was saying freely about saving Rukia in Chapter 286 (But still glad that he still said it) and might thought that Rukia will not be even worst than he expected. He probably will get into depression after seeing Rukia in that bloody, dying state. (Well, of course she's not going to die! =D)

Yeah, I think many (as do I) forget that there are indeed so many characters, that he can't concentrate on 1 person, no matter how much we would like him to. Don't worry Tat may still get her power-up, I mean there are still so many other things Kubo has to clear up.

Tatsuki WILL get her power-up. That was one of the biggest hints Kubo's ever laid down. If you go back and read the manga in a single sitting or two so much other stuff besides IchiRuki heaven and earth black and white meant for one another is plain---not foreshadowed but set up. I find it amazing how Kubo can be such a traditional storyteller within the shounen form and still pull out so many wild surprises! I truly love his art and writing--this chapter 286 and the cover spread just reminded me how much.


OT:You may also be happy to know Debbiechan that I am so close to becoming a Ishihime fan. I mean I didn't really like Ori all that much, but your sig pulls me in everytime! ::Tempted to go to the Ishihime fc::

I wonder if Shirosaki could make mincemeat of that scythe. That would be cool. But I'm leaning towards Halibel et al interrupting the fight.

Still, I was mad at Kubo for doing that.

And when he says, "It's not as bad as I thought it would be." It blew away the cover for any romantic situations. And it was clearly turned comic with the help of Nell....so, in the end, we're exactly where we were five chapters ago. Ichigo's injured, Inoue none the wiser, Nell's still Nell, Ichigo's still looking for Rukia and Chad.

It would be infinitely cruel for Kubo to not mention Rukia for another three months. He better not do that. *sniffles*

hmmmm....good question. I would think Rukia would be more stricter than Ichigo, while Ichigo would be the over-protective parent. Of course, as time goes by, and as the kids wear them both down to a softer side. I could see Ichigo saying to the kids, "ask your mother." with Rukia standing to the side rolling her eyes and putting her foot down. But after many tears and then screaming, she'll relent and say yes.

But I think the question should be, can Rukia have kids at all? We know in SS that only nobility can bear children. The only way I can see this happening is if KT mentions that Ichigo is part of the Shiba family and Rukia part of the royal family. Of course, we'll be waiting ages to hear something on this. So everything is left to theory and speculation.

There is also the matter that since we know not if Ichigo and Rukia are even nobles, making it hard for them to have children in SS, Rukia can go the route of Isshin and become human. This would enable her to bear children for Ichigo, unless the above mentioned actually happens. If that happens, they can live happily ever after ala soul reapers and family. Or they could just adopt. SS does have lots of orphans on the street.

And yes, Nell is awesome! She really is a cutie pie! Ichigo and Rukia should make her their first! :p

In volume 3, there's a little paragraph at the beginning of the book that says

"If I were rain, that joins sky and earth that otherwise never touch, could I join two hearts as well?"

I'm gonna assume that that is Orihime thinking because she has identified herself with rain in the past. Plus, there's also the fact that we see Orihime's picture above the little paragraph.

Also, I've heard someone once say that Orihime could possibly be the third party that drives Ichigo and Rukia together. According to the person, this is usually the case in love triangles...although I wouldnt exactly rush to label Ichiruki-Ichihime as a love triangle...

Anyways, maybe this can mean that Orihime = rain, and Ichigo and Rukia = sky and earth because they normally don't "touch". (one is alive and the other is "dead")...so Orihime may be the one that "joins together" the sky and earth? (does anyone get what I mean? I probably dont make much sense right now. XP)

Ichigo's expression and behavior was casual and not out-of-character. There's no longing gazes and no dramatic tension. Orihime is the only one blushing in those scenes. Ichigo thought that she was heavy (not a good sign), and instead of Kubo making Ichigo wrap his arm around Orihime and jumping off the tower, he made him carry her like a bag of rice, lol :rofl ...You know, I think I can forgive Kubo (even for a little bit) for not showing us any Rukia and/or IchiRuki scenes lately :p

@ComeComeParadis: Yeah, that's what I thought too. There's definitely something special between IchiRuki, and I think they do need a 3rd party to bring it out in the open because if they don't need it, their relationship would have been define by now, and it hasn't. So, perhaps Kubo is planning to use someone to bring IchiRuki together romantically, just like I believe their fateful meeting that night was set-up by someone.

Lol, yeah. Ichigo is kinda like "Yay, this fight is over. Can I not fight for a couple of chapters?" not at all like at the execution. At the excution he stopped the power of a million zanpaktous with one, saw a bunch of high ranking shinigami ready to pounce on him when they had the chance, and yet he still looked confident, cool and ready to take on whatever SS wanted to throw at him. Ichigo's not blushing..one would think that the close contact would cause him to blush (but it's only Orihime--for obvious reasons). So therefore he sees carrying Orihime as a means to an end, not a moment to be romantic. Actually, I found his statement a bit tactless (from simply a woman's standpoint...I guess Nell was supposed to represent a woman reading it and thinking "Hey! That's not nice!" [imo]).

Hmm...not THAT is indeed a very interesting idea and concept. I like it. That could very much be the case. Wouldn't put it past Kubo to have made such a poetic metaphor. XD And yes you did make perfect sense to me.

That's what I really like about KT. Bleach is the very first manga (although I like them for almost a decade now..) that made me engrossed to the point of checking the chapters every week. I'm satisfied with the recent development in the manga. It's more on character development for Ichigo, rather than a romance that anyone else is wishing.

And IchiRuki as parents?
That's probably heaven for me, although that already somehow beyond my expectation to the story. I want them to be together at the end. I'll leave the marriage and family to fanfictions.:rolleyes:

I do have a sneaking suspicion that Orihime's there to propel IchiRuki...but I still can't help but feel really bad for her just thinking about it...Tite-sama must have sensed my disdain...me thinks that that's why he created "Emospada". XP (I like Inoue with Ishida too! )

The reason I say that I dont think that IchiRuki X Ichihime is a love triangle relationship is because the only person that I feel is in love is Orihime...who we all know is in love with Ichigo. I dont think that Ichigo and Rukia are in love...yet. I see it coming... but I just dont think that they're in love yet...just getting there! XD

@Everyone: it's only nobles who can have children, but I think it's more something that has to do with reiatsu; my guess is that if you don't have enough reiatsu, you can't have children. And also, don't forget that every shinigami, once he becomes shinigami, becomes part of those nobles; I'm pretty sure it was mentioned somewhere in SOULs XD

As for Inoue bringing Ichigo and Rukia together, I am not sure of it. Also, you seem to forget that the sky and earth already connect XD Her poem had to do with Ichigo and his mother, that's how I saw it. Inoue interefering into the Ichigo/Rukia relationship isn't very likely. Not at all.
For many many reasons.

She's too kindhearted to do that. I mean, she's the girl who couldn't bear to kill the enemy, even when he was trying to kill her and Ishida. It's not in er nature to do that sort of thing. She obviously has picked up the scent on Ichigo and Rukia (practically everyone has), and she couldn't come in between them.
Kubo has made Rukia and Inoue friends. Kubo has made Ichigo and Inoue friends, but more so with Rukia. And because of the reason that I give above, Inoue would never do anything intentionally to hurt Rukia, because she's one of her nakama.
She isn't trying to make a move on Ichigo or anything, you know? There wasn't any significant, "OMGEEESH! Romanticism flows from the ink!" It was just, "Yo. I'm a vaizard, kinda scary, huh? Well, it's just me." and then when the fight's over, it's like, "You okay? Yeah? Okay, then, let's hurry and get to Rukia, so, I'm just going to throw you over my shoulder so we don't waste any time. Let's go get her and Chad back."

The situation shifted from friendship to comedy with the help of our favorite mini-arrancar: Nell. ;)

Kubo's built up all these little "coincidences/parallels/poems/etc/etc" he's not suddenly going to go, "OH! Wait, wait, wait. We're going to go and ignore ALLLLLLL those meaningful little poems, and parallels, and other things that make Ichigo and Rukia special, and suddenly stick Inoue in there. Yup. Because I'm twisted and don't want anymore fans and I don't want to be able to continue drawing Bleach without being trampled by psychotic fangirls. Mhm." <--Oh, yeah, makes perfect sense. He just built up SoulSociety arc with all this meaningful-ness of IchiRuki while building on the Aizen/Arrancar plot, but he's going to flush it down the toilet. Yes, Kubo, how brilliant.
No. That's not what's going to happen. He rides on a one way track, sure he gets off at every freaking stop he can to make us go, "Hurry it up, man, or we're going to Japan to make you hurry." but, in the end, he gets his point across very well. :D


In the end, I think I'm just repeating what has been obviously shown in the manga. XDD

I don't believe in the love triangle theory, because Ichigo's an oblivious dork, and love triangles happen because two people like the same person, and that person likes another one back, but is held back by the third party member because they could get hurt (or in the cases of Soap Operas/Korean dramas, because they used to like them or such and such) due to their actions. But, Ichigo doesn't even freaking KNOW that Inoue likes him, how's he going to hold back on his emotions when there's no barrier? And the third party member usually tries to stop the other two from getting together, but in this subplot, there is no sort of, "I want Kurosaki-kun, get away, Kuchiki-san."

So, I don't think it's really a love triangle. More like a high school girl crush?

Since I don't wanna start any orihime discussions, the only thing I would say is that her love for ichigo is shallow, therefore like a 'highschool crush' lol because they never rele ACTUALLY interacted as in conversation (except for the "Blank" chapter... but! it was about saving Rukia).

As for Inoue bringing Ichigo and Rukia together, I am not sure of it. Also, you seem to forget that the sky and earth already connect XD Her poem had to do with Ichigo and his mother, that's how I saw it. But whilst she wished to connect them, Kubo showed us that it was Rukia who helped Ichigo in the end. <3

I agree because from that chapter was tatsuki explaining to orihime about how the death of Masaki totally affected ichigo (personality-wise you can say?) From there you can assume of why orihime would have a poem of that. She would wish to connect ichigo with masaki because she could feel the pain he has relating to her brother's situation. Also, she didn't really know the importance of Rukia to ichigo when she was still on earth on the third volume. If she did, we would already have insight on her being jealous and all (well, except after the don kanoji incident but that was in the fourth volume so~) That wouldn't make sense. If orihime would love ichigo five lifetimes over (even though her love is merely a crush, technically) I wouldn't think she would try to connect IchixRuki together just like that and get over it! I don't think orihime is that nice. Also, it was the Memories in the rain arc that volume soo~

Well, if all of a sudden Ichigo carrying Inoue over his shoulder is romantic, then Yoruichi and Ichigo should have had a nice lay together. Really...come on, the woman just practically stripped naked for Ichigo, showing her goods to him. LOL, I mean, how non-sexual can that get? Right? Also, Yoruichi went out of her way to save Ichigo from Byakuya, and threw Ichigo over her shoulder. Is that some sort of 'confession of love' that Yoruichi is declaring that Urahara doesn't know about?!
I'm really pondering about what sort of thought people have on this one, because it just doesn't make sense to me that people think Inoue has any sort of place as Ichigo's 'special girl', since the way he views Yoruichi and Matsumoto, is the same as he views Inoue. Ichigo is simply a guy who has some odd run ins with women, especially with women who have curvy bodies, its just something that he deals with, its all the same to him, they are people who he would be willing to protect, because he cares.
What is different with Rukia, is that he treats her differently, he's closer to her than he is with Renji, or anyone really. With Rukia, things are more complicated, and more profound and intense. While the other times with friends, its simple with Ichigo, he has a clear way of treating them, and things are different. The only one making things seem more complicated are Inoue and some of the fans because of the whole "love triangle theory".
Also, by the way, the 'look' Ichigo gave Inoue, is the same look he gives to his sisters, other friends, especially after a struggle like the one Ichigo had to face. Not to mention that he had given Nell the same 'look' as he had Inoue. And guilt has a way of sneaking up, if anyone remembers Ichigo had doubted Inoue being 'innocent'. (However, some of us know better.) He's also blushed when Yoruichi took off her clothes for him, also when matsumoto tried taking her clothes off to try to let her stay with him in his home. Any romance there? At least I don't see it. Its just a case of teenage male hormones.

Well, I was always of opinion, had Rukia not appeared in Ichigo's life and changed his entire world, Ichigo would end up with Inoue. I wrote that in a fic in ChadOri FC, I think. They would be The High School Couple, the sort that looks great together in photographs.

But Rukia did show up, and the deal was sealed.

What made me laugh the most was Ichigo's obliviousness in 286 - he was all 'What are you getting flustered about? We're GTFOing, what's wrong?'. x__X

Honestly I don't mind all this IchiOri. As IchiRuki shippers, we've really had it good. Maybe we're even a teeny weeny bit spoiled. Let's have Orihime have some of the spotlight for a change. It all makes for an even more interesting story.

Maybe this is exactly what the pairing needed. Rukia has been, imo, somehwat nonchalant towards our boy since end of SS. Probably she feels too secure that she has him (or something similar). Let this be a kick in the shins. A wake up call. Our time will eventually come :D

I´m pleased with it, it´s a rather good chapter imo. The mood changed,
we have lighter moments, funny/ comedic scenes and I especially like
Nell in this chapter! I even liked Orihime: her embarrassment, her
blushing. It was so very different to her frightened expressions in the
previous chapters and I enjoyed seeing her smile again. :)
Also the way she embraced her head and covered her face, while
Ichigo shouldered her (he had to help her get from the pillar and
he was surprised when Orihime asked him what he´s doing,
though it seemed so obvious for him XD ), was really cute! :)

Some of you also mentioned that Ichigo looks somewhat goofy in
this chapter and I agree! I even have the impression that he
looks younger somehow. O.o
While he fought he looked like a 18-20 year
old and now he reverted back being 15/16
due to his facial expressions! +ahaha+ ;)

On another note: I can´t get off the impression that our highly
awaited IchiRuki reunion will be something really great and epic
(I hope it´s not simply wishful thinking though), because Kubo holds
Rukia back for so long and teases us IchiRuki fans with IchiOri
interaction (which can´t be considered a threat though for
us :rolleyes: ). First there was Ulquiorra vs Ichigo, then the
Grimmy fight and now we have Noitora!
Woah, if Kubo wanna build up a new fight, how many readers
will drop reading the coming chapters? It´s time for plot-developments,
communication and interaction. Kubo will surely move on
(to other characters)! Maybe he gave us these funny moments
in the current chapter to lighten up the mood, since the coming
chapters will be dramatic, dark and threatening again (Ichigo´s
discovery of a severely injured Rukia?)?

How can some of you even consider Nell's sudden turn of frightening violence as humorous? Her vicious assualt on Ichigo's balls was the most threatening and horrifying attack on IchiRuki in the entire series thus far. After all, how are those two supposed to get together and make babies if Ichigo's baby fertilizers are busted? Forget about this talk of Ichigo grabbing Orihime and what-not; everyone seems to be missing the real danger IchiRuki avoided this chapter.

I talked about it in v2! How dare you even think I would't see such obvious danger to our ship? I knew Nell was one dangerous, vicious chibi ever since she suggested Ichigo is impotent. It was a prediction, the one I could feel she would work hard to fulfill. :eek:

Then again, Rukia herself did more damage to those parts all the way back in MitR arc, so I'm not sure how she'd feel about this.

Sadly I am horrible at writing and even worse at drawing, so I won't be able to offer many presents to you all. I make graphics from time to time, but they aren't that great XD But I can contribute to discussions as much as I can!

hi all. i don't know if this has been discussed before, but i would like to know if any of you have therories as to why Rukia knows that Ichigo has a hollow in him. i am referring to the scene where she says, "you are that kind of man in my heart Ichigo!"

Byakuya could have told Rukia about it since he saw it during their fight in SS? could it be that Urahara told her?

Rukia knows about Ichigo's hollow. What she doesn't know is how he deal with it (she asked a sleeping Ichigo in chapter 237). In chapter 214 pretty much confirmed that everyone knows about Ichigo's hollow.

I'm sure Rukia will see Ichigo in vaizard form later on in the story. Her reaction should be very interesting. And I also want to know how will other shinigamis react if they find out Ichigo choose to become a vaizard as a way to tame his hollow.

Then when he was hesitating that's when she said those words then something along the lines of "Is it the hollow inside you? The Ichigo I know wouldn't let that stop him! @Caboose Didn't Rukia see Shinji as a vaizard? She didn't seem worried about him, and she didn't know who he was. I think she'll be much more accepting than Orihime was to Ichigo's vaizard. Further more, she will likely cause him to gain control in any cases where the hollow might gain strength.

We thought Ulquiorra saw Shinji in a vaizard form and knew about vaizard (well he did see) but when Ichigo used vaizard power he was totally clueless about it. I don't think Rukia see Shinji, the fight he had with GJ was away from her location. Beside, Rukia asked a sleeping Ichigo if type of power he tried to gain and who were vaizard people. It implied that she doesn't know what's going on with Ichigo and the mask at all.

But I agree that Rukia is likely to accept it better than Orihime. She is logical enough.

I re-read chapter 262 until ch 286 and I really have to say that the Rukia/Kaien fight really hit me somehow. Rukia fought Aaro who insisted of being Kaien yet refused to believe it just because he asked her to kill her friends (even if he said it was a joke). Although his powers, his words and his actions were begging her to believe. Rukia as faith in the Kaien she used to know and because of that she managed to discover Aaro's true form. But here IchiOri interaction...is totally opposite of that. Ichigo acted the same way, he protected Orihime, he reassured her that everything will be alright. But Orihime couldn't get pass his mask and his hollow eyes and doubted him and scared of him. Even in this chapter I really was taken back when she said 'i'm glad, he's the same'. Since when did Ichigo ever act different? Just because right now his doesn't have hollow eyes, she's glad? What will happen the next time Ichigo needs to use a mask?

There are too many similarities and differences in these two fights. And I don't think Kubo doesn't know this and this
