I'm betting on a (very emotional) Tousen, Shuuhei, Komamura showdown. It'd more emotional for Komamura because it seems that Tousen was his only friend (aside from Yamamoto), and Shuuhei seems to be more level-headed about it all.

He is a rather popular character for the small amount of page-time he gets. That's probably why he appeared in the Bount Arc. The anime seems to be a bit fan-servicey to me. That's probably one of the reasons why I don't care for it.

There's enough fan-art and whatnot for me to be ok with him not getting a ton of screen/page time, but he will have to have a decent roll in the WW seeing as his captain is one of "the traitors."

I wonder where he will rank in the upcoming character poll now that he has to compete with all the Espada.

What is he at currently? And dude, Shuuhei is the most underrated character ever. It's enough that he got that screen time in one of the recent episodes. XD

Although it was nice that he was out in the front in the vice captain color spread. ^.^

The last one he was like 13 or something, behind Kira and Momo. For the amount of screen time he gets, that's pretty high. Ishida was like 15 and Matsumoto was somewhere around 17. They both had much more screen (panel?) time.

I'm a little more miffed that we've never seen him win a fight. First he gets saved by Renji, Kira, and Momo then he loses to Yumichika's freaky shikai.

I was just thinking of bumping this fc as well...

Question: On another forum, we pretty much decided that Shuuhei really is the man-whore of Bleach. He really gets paired up the most in fandom. The strangest pairings I've seen from Japanese art sites has been Komamura (it was cute, but still a bit scary) and Marechiyo's little sister (just because she gets like two panels in an omake).

So, to finally get to the point, I was wondering if anyone in here has a favorite Shuuhei pairing. Mine are:
Shuuhei/Matsumoto, He's got a crush on her, and she'd totally make him her servant (a la the ep 105 zukan (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8W-e4to5_g))
Shuuhei/Renji, I'm not a big yaoi fan, but some of the fanart for this pairing is really damn hot.

(I hope I don't end up talking to myself...)

Shuuhei/Matsumoto - totally agree. I can REALLY see this happening. They both were left by people important to them, they're single, Hisagi's in love with Matsumoto and I doubt that Gin will ever come back.
