So, what do you guys think of Naruto lately and the events that have occurred in the recent chapters?

Tobi is so much more interesting to me now, even with the whole "I'm Uchiha Madara" thing. How did he even escape the blast and get so far so quickly (or at least, what seems to have been quickly; we don't know how much time passed between the blast and his re-appearance).

Finally seeing the Akatsuki leader and Blue-haired-woman was nice, too.

BTW, I hope the hostility so common in other Naruto discussions (esp. concerning "Tobi=Obito?" and "Sasuke vs. Naruto; who is better?") doesn't become a problem on this thread. ^^;;

I really like how Naruto has been over the past few chapters. Naruto isn't my fav. manga but I really like how the plot has been flowing.

When one question is answered, multiple new questions are asked and it's really interesting.

Unlike some people who can predict the future, I was surprised by Tobi turning out to be Madara. The most recent chapters have been the best of part 2, save for some of the dumbest stuff to go down in any fight so far(well not as bad as bunshining kakuzu :lmao)

omg..i'm still shocked from that chapter o.o Tobi's usually the funny one but what if he doesn't act funny anymore :( and he acts all serious ;__;and i really beleive that Tobi = Obito o.o the hair, the one eye sharringan..and the first time he showed up when he tried catching Sasori's ring he tried to catch it with his right (i think) but it kinda went through...when obito got squished it was on the same side he tried catching it with o.o and the ch. Sasuke was about to fight Deidra, he cut Tobi on the right side (i think .___) and nothing happened... aaawkwaaaard xD

XD I believe Tobi = Madara in Obito's body. That, or he's just Madara. Then again, could be Obito decieving them. Who knows, can't wait to see though ^^

The latest chapter is interesting.. Naruto vs. Itachi anyone?! XD

do you think Tobi is Madara or just an Uchiha (Tobi is my guess). From what I've heard, all he says is that he has the power of Madara, not he is Madara.

I hope naruto and Itachi don't fight, I don't think it'd be a good fight.

you're right it wouldn't be a good fight because Naruto stands no chance unless he goes kn4. Chances are he'd be owned before he transformed enough.

And there fighting styles are so different I don't see it making for good visuals, but I do want to see Itachi in a fight sometime soon.

I don't pay attention to Naruto like I do Bleach, but was Uchiha Madara mentioned before the big Tobi twist? I don't recall ever hearing about him before. :confused:

He was mentioned around ch 308 when team 7 faced off against Sasuke. It was Kyuubi who mentioned him

I like how Madara had only been mentioned once, and being mentioned again is such a big plot twist (to lots of fans anyway)

i know...the first time he was mentioned people started having sooo many theories that the Akatsuki leader was him...then when Pein showed up i was like aww so it's not an Uchiha member then when i found out there was another Akatsuki Leader i'm all like OMG who is it?? i'm glad the real akatsuki leader and Pein pretty much showed up in the same chapter (i think..) then there was Tobi that showed up as Akatsuki leader then the Sharrigan. i got a heart attack at that part, it was so shocking that it was Tobi to me xD the fact that it was a sharrigan user wasn't so suprising :p

Jiraiya: Well, it would seem he didn't turn out very well...and since I'd heard he was dead...I was convinced it wasn't him.

仙人「まあ、あの予言は大ボケじじいの戯言じゃ気にするな！」
One of the frogs: Well, that prophecy's no more than a senile old geezer's delusion, so don't you worry!

仙人嫁が生物探知機（蛇）でカメレオンを拘束、
仙人夫が口から水（超水圧）で一刀両断
The sennin use "biological detection" (a snake) to capture the chameleon, and (flush Pain out?) by spitting water.

予言の回想
Flashback to "the prophecy"

The great Toad Hermit makes Jiraiya a prophecy.

Note: It may be deliberately vague point in the prophecy, but I honestly can't tell if the most natural interpretation here is "one" apprentice or "multiple" apprentices..

It looks like the one akatsuki that was summoned was Hiden/Kuzuku I always get the names confused:rofl, the other could be diedra.

So my guess is that Peins ultimate power is to summon people who have already been killed:D

Hermit mode looks weird, but damn, it's pretty strong. Poor chameleon got cut up, though :/

btw, there was a pretty sweet fake!script that had Pein explaining his body can only do summons. That's probably true, though.

I wonder what those other two bodies will do.

pain can use all 6 chakra types cos he has rinnegan, but none of those 6 bodies could be his real (nagato) body...so maybe he uses these 6 bodies cos they're better.

i think pain' six bodies have thsese chakra natures -
1. fire - katon jutsu
2. wind - fuuton jutsu
3. lightning - raiton jutsu
4. earth - doton jutsu
5. water - suiton jutsu
6. yin/yang - non-elemental justu


first body pain used - suiton jutsu
the original pain we saw with the naruto-style hair.
seemed to control the rain.
maybe that body had water chakra type.

second body pain used - non-elemental jutsu
the ocurrent pain fighting, who has deidara-style hair.
seems to only be using summoning justu's.
maybe that body is the yin/yang chakra body.

perhaps those 6 bodies are just 6 speicalist ppl, each speicalizin in one of the 6 chakra types.

jiraiya said it's weird that he's only using summoning even though he should have all 6 chakra types...

if my theory is right then the two bodies pain summoned will each be using either katon jutsu, fuuton jutsu, doton jutsu or raiton jutsu. just one each, no other ninjutsu....

i love jiraiya and all...hes like my fave, butthat super oodama rasengan is rediculous. its so huge.

anyway pain said all his bodies share the same eyes...he means they all see the same. so would that meanthey're all pain at the same time?
