Plot Summary: Sumimura Yoshimori, a 14-year-old junior high school boy, is a descendant of Kekkaishi, or an exterminator of monsters He is vying for the heir to the family with Yumikura Tokine. Tokine is older than him, and she is his childhood friend as well as his rival Kekkaishi. To save people from the crises, and to make himself stronger, Yoshimori fights against monsters tonight, too.

I absolutely love this anime! Its got great characters, great action, great comedy, great storyline, great graphics and great music. Its got everything:p

The most amazing thing is that each episode has similar things to the previous ones BUT they include something new so you learn something each week! Something new and innovative like new kekkai techniques and stuff:p. Its just awesome!

I love this show! I just dislike the waiting time for each episode's release.
Fave character would probably be Shishio Gen.

Yeah haha, Yoroshiku take forever! I don't really like Shishio, he's powerful and all by I prefer Yoshimori, Tokine and Madarao much more.

Action, comedy, school life and a hint of romance haha. Only bad thing isn't about the anime itself but the subbers are kinda slow. They haven't released an episode for about 2 weeks and its still going.

Kekkaishi has become one of the best anime that I watch these days…as u said it has everything..comedy, action, romance, school days ^__^

I really need these factors to enjoy watching anime… yoshimori and tokine are my favorite characters in kekkaishi and I support their relationship (I think we need a fc for them :o)..i like tokine's dog too (hakibe his name I think)..it's funny the way he calls tokine honey :p

The story develops into awesome scenario and events that will make our hero more stronger.. I couldn’t wait for the anime, that's why I read raw manga till the last release ch 179 (might be stupid but I couldn’t help it) many amazing things will happen (even though I don't know the details of the manga, I just read the images..i don't know Japanese ><)

Anyway, I advice anyone who doesn’t know it to watch it immediately.. I really consider it one of the best and unique anime

It's anime and it's shounen, so of course it starts off slow, but I hear most people don't mind that. How's and ever, whatever you do, watch episodes 27 through 30. I am now stuck with this series because I did. On second thought, maybe you shouldn't. It's a trap.

Kekkaishi!!!! one of my fav anime/manga and the next best after Bleach and Gintama :D i agree with speedphantom that everything about Kekkaishi is awesome!!! like any other shounen manga, Kekkaishi has action, comedy, school life, supernatural and little bit of romance. definitely, Yoshimori and Tokine are my favourite character. what i like most about Kekkaishi is, it represents the life story and of course the humour in it. and i find Yoshimori and Tokine relationship is cute; yes, i'm a fan of Yoshimori and Tokine pairing because of the obvious infatuation from Yoshimori towards Tokine tho rite now i see more like Yoshimori-->Tokine lol :p rite now, i read the manga up to vol.8 (scanlations) and watch the anime until episode 28. Kudos to Yoroshiku for subbing this great anime series!!! :D also, congratulations to Tanabe Yellow-sensei for his Kekkashi has won Best Shounen Manga at 52nd Shogakukan Award 2007 :love

btw, does anyone knows where can i get the RAW version of Kekkaishi chapters? :nuts
