Chuz-chan's been a great help! I've already lined up the scenes I want to use, I've just got to find them!!

Once they get their next interaction- I think we'll see a spike in the fanworks. His switching of the corridors got messed up in the anime, from what I heard (inserted into one of the Szayel scenes, I think). Combine that with the fact that the scene was very subtle in the first place, a lot of fans probably missed it....

I can't wait for their next interaction!!! It'll probably be better than the first scenes combined!:D

@Ashido: Seeing how Gin's age appears quite close to Rukia's & not to mention they both lived in Rukongai (not sure if it was in the same district, anyone know?) there's a more likely chance that they knew eachother. Or something else along those lines... There has to be a reason why Gin likes to taunt Rukia & why she seems more afraid of him than other people are. And there were times when Kubo could easily not of shown us anything showing us this, like when Gin sees Rukia on the monitor. I also find it strange that Aizen wanted Gin to finish Rukia off after extracting the hougyoku. I mean it could be that Aizen doesn't like to kill (:lmao) or maybe he didn't want to waste his time perhaps, but I still find it strange. Grrr Kubo, can you not reveal this to us any faster?!

And I actually have Perchance to Dream in my favorites on FF.net--that was the first GinRuki I read (besides one posted on here a few days back that no one knows the author of T_T) and is one of my favorites!

My theory for the HM arc is, of course, that Gin and Rukia will meet again--and hopefully they'll have a nice little backstory for them both in the process. Gin will torment Rukia about her feelings for Ichigo ("Purely aesthetic attachment") and Rukia will argue that no, she doesn't have feelings for him--and then Gin will say "Well, now, if you have no attachments to him, then what's to stop me from keeping you?" Then Rukia will be stuck in his clutches until someone Byah Byah Byah (Byakuya) and Renji will come and have a nice fight scene with Gin, who may or may not win.

That opening sounds interesting as well (poke, poke) I was just mentioning it (at Rukia fc) that it would have been cool if KT were to put a smilling Gin looking on at a severly injured Rukia post her epic battle with espada no 9, particularly given the fact that she seems to be self-healing when Byakuya found her. The fun we could have had arguing whether Gin has anything to do with healing her and the reasons behind that action :p

@ Godell/Cara, yeah when it comes to Gin and Rukia fluff has a different meaning ;) I could easily imagine Gin giving Rukia a chappy flushie with a boa stuff toy wrap around Chappy's shoulder!

@Godell, I read the new chapters and reviewed!! :D YAY. I think A_Love has one or two fics that wasnt posted on the ff but posted to her LJ instead, one in particular is quite disturbing but in a good Finruki way :p
I am kinda interested in your view (and others!!) on why Gin is particularly interested in Rukia, is it a truly evil attraction to the truly pure hearted? Was he just bore and she provides him with the best reactions to his
teasings'? Or is he truly attracted to her, she is his complete opposite personaly and physical wise (well except for the fact both are thin and need to eat more :p).

An AU? I have read some AU that includes Gin (but not a GinRuki unfortunately) and it seems like Gin was kinda OOC. The creepiness is missing.

I actually did start a GinRuki oneshot, and then realized I had to work on "Deception", and so dropped it. Maybe I'll pick it up later and polish it up a bit.

:3 Speaking of GinRuki fics, I just got done a rather large oneshot basically re-defining the phrase "one happy family". There's GinRuki everywhere in this one, of course, in an even creepier way than usual. XD Keywords: "Uncle Gin". O.o

Some characters like Rukia does particularly well in AU because she is a comlicated characters with many many different sides to her personalities, so you could get away with having her being chldish, warior-like, noble lady, noisy brad etc. Anyway just to let you know I read the latest and love it.

Also Kilonji had updated "Guardian" the third installation of Gin-Rukia fic. This one has an interesting chiffhanger of sorts.

I used to think Rukia was hard to write, but now she comes out pretty easily to me. I think Gin will always be easier, though, probably because I started obsessing over him the moment my friend showed me a pic of him, saying "This is the greatest Soul Reaper!" That's pretty much the reason I really got into Bleach, heh.

I always thought that they met back when she was still in the Academy--specifically when Renji, Kira and Hinamori were going off on that life-changing "field trip". Rukia-chan was all alone after Renji strutted off, and she looked so forlorn and troubled...a smiling 5th Squad Lieutenant Gin would surely be the perfect pick-me-up, right (According to Gin's mind)?

I forget which episode/chapter it is specifically...but it's obvious that Rukia was very much alone after Renji and co. left...it seems almost foreshadowing, in a way, or hinting at something...

Yeah...he will definately be all sweet and warm towards her but he will still have that dark/sly edge to him so it won't really work because she will notice and become wary of him.
Then one day she will do/say something or he will see her practising in the woods and will see her do something that will make his mask of sly grinning slip and she will notice it one day I suppose...let it unravel.
