Heya guys!

okay...tonight a 'new' show will air here called 'Heroes'. Now my question is: is it any good to watch? I've heard and read that it's a hit in the U.S. but how does the main television watcher feel about this series?

I'll be recording tonight's epi and I am sure that it will be a good one to watch..but is it worth following?

It's just magic.
Firstly you can think it's a plagiary of Xmen but it has nothing to do with it (expect super powers thing).

Love the show. Initially didn't watch it as I thought it was just a ripoff of X-Men (and I'm a big X-fan as I used to collect the comics), but boy was I wrong. I like that the story builds to a crescendo and every week you don't know what to expect. So if you like mutant stories with an actual plot and people who keep you guessing every week then you'll love this. And be prepared for cliffys as there will be some that makes you wish it was already next week.

Well everyone.. 45 minutes ago the show was over and now it's waiting for next week's (or just downloading;)).

I must say that it started out VERY boring..but when they started with Japan I immediately liked it *fangirls* hahaha I even understood ALOT of what they were saying and said to my mom that the translation of it was perfect! I could only understand some bits and parts but it was fun none the less..seeing it translated in Dutch instead of the usual english:D

I was also very pleased with the fact that the Japanese were actually talking Japanese and nót English! I suppose that will change very soon with Hiro but for now just let him speak Japanese..pwease?!

Actually...I am only watching this show because of Hiro and can't wait to see what he's gonna do later on!
I am also very curious with that chick from The LV. I don't understand at all what she's capable of..yeah..staring in the mirror and killing people?! gah..just don't understand it but it will explained soon..

Now..waiting for next week's.

Hiro speaks a lot of Japanese through the serious, so you don't have to worry about that. He does attempt some English, but apparently it's like broken English (not that it matters).

Just stay with Heroes. It is a very good and entertaining show and worth all of your time.

I love Heroes. Can't wait till next season comes out. There're 3 things I'm excited about in the new season:

* Sylar. wtf, he survived, AND he knew he'd die. When he painted the painting of Kirby plaza, he saw everything, including his own death. Interesting, no? I know because someone on the 9th Wonders boards took screen caps of his eyes during that scene.

* "The Bad Man" that Molly talked about. Worse than Sylar and and can see her when she thinks about him. Pretty creepy.

* Peter. He better shape up some more this season. Maybe more like his badass self from the future. That'd be awesome.

BTW, I also can't wait for Heroes:Origins. 6 episodes with new Heroes and we vote who gets to play in the season 3. Pretty cool.

The second season probably will start around the same time the first season started, and that is at the end of September. Or at least I hope it does for the sake of the addiction.

Yea, but seriously, if a big rock thing is pitted against the Heroes... meh. Besides, a lot of people just regard Uluru as a figment of Isaac's imagination.

I suppose it's possible to see him, though. I just hope that, if Uluru is brought to the series, that he doesn't look silly. Or too much like that Fantastic Four guy.

I wonder if he'll even be bad. In the future episode, it didn't seem like there was anyone worse than Sylar. It shouldn't matter if the current Heroes timeline isn't following the course the "future" took (Peter blowing up in NY, Ando dying, etc), that guy exists, period, but it didn't seem like he did much in the future timeline, IMO. Therefore, he may not do much in the current timeline, either, other than the fact that he has the creepy ability to see Molly when she tries to find him.

I kinda hope "that guy" is one of the older generations guys or something. Like Mr. Deveaux(sp) or something.

I can't wait to see more powers, especially from the older generation. Mommy Petrelli has to have some sort of power. It'd be nice, too, to see what Daddy Petrelli's power was and what the deal is with Charles Deveaux.

lol, I just downloaded all of them one by one through torrent xP I usually didn't have time to watch Heroes on the weekdays, so I torrented and watched later. So, now I have all of them XP

Tip: watch the last three episodes as if they're all one big episode. That was the original intent of the creator (3hr ep) but it was cut up into 3 episodes instead. Maybe it'll make more sense if you think about it that way -shrug-

I love this show, I've downloaded all the episodes and initially intended to watch one everyday and last throughout summer. But damn, this show is so addictive, now I'm watching 3-4 episodes in a row!! And, I've already peeped through those gifs you guys posted earllier. Holy shit, Peter goes badass!! Nathan might end up amnesiac and just kinda wander around somewhere, getting drunk, whatever. Adrian Pasdar (Nathan) is growing out a beard, I think, so Nathan bumming out in some slum on account of amnesia makes sense. At least he didn't die o_O

Also, yea, there are couple of confirmed new roles, including a surrogate mom for Micah, Takezo Kensei (Hiro's childhood hero xP), and some girl in ancient Japan that falls in love with Hiro (or the other way around). Dunno if she has powers, though.

I hope that the less featured heroes will get more screen time and backstory in season 2. Like, Claire's mom, Peter and Nather's dad, Mohinder's (dead) sister, the guy who can see Molly, and Charles Deveaux. That dream thing he did in the last episode was weird.

I remember reading in TV Guide magazine or whatever some interview thing with Masi Oka asking him questions about Hiro in Season Two and in feudal Japan.

He said that the Japanese princess falls in love with him, or other way around. lol, poor Hiro. Always falling for the girls that he can never have in the end xP

Also, I guess Nathan becomes a drunk and Peter gets amnesia. Makes sense; After going nuclear, the amount of stress his mind and body must've went through must've made him lose his memory. Nathan probably flew him high and flew away, which could be why he's still alive (yay). But, since Peter is amnesiac, after falling from the sky, he doesn't remember who he is or, at the very least, where he needs to go (home, family, find nathan, etc). No one can find him either without Molly, but apparently the Petrellis haven't thought of that or know about her. So, Nathan and Angela think he's dead and Angela yells at him, as shown in the preview.

Amazing.

Well, she can apparently regrow tissue and probably bones (fractures, at least), but regrowing body parts? Much different than healing cuts and fractures. IF she can regrow appendages... that'd be interesting. o_O Would there be a limit (I imagine there would be)? Or could she hypothetically keep on cutting off body parts and regrowing them? And just like, have a bunch of arms and legs of hers lying around? o_O XD

- The latest actor to join the show for its second season is [The Nine's] Jessica Collins, who will take on a recurring role. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Collins will play Sophie, "a mysterious woman with powers who works at the organization that is tracking all heroes."

- Dianna Agron and Dominic Keating have booked recurring roles on Heroes. Agron will play a cheerleader, Keating an Irish mobster. Agron's credits include Veronica Mars and Shark. Keating will be seen in Robert Zemeckis' Beowulf.

- Lyndsy Fonseca is out as Claire's gay cheerleader pal. She's out as in, off the show. According to Heroes creator Tim Kring, Fonseca's role had to be cut short after she landed that series-regular gig on Desperate Housewives . "She wasn't a pivotal character," Kring says of Claire's pal, who will now appear in just one episode. "The idea was that that part would grow, but it never got a chance to." New Hero Dania Ramirez revealed that when we first meet her character, Maya, "she's on the run from the cops."

- Reliable inside sources connected to NBC tell me that David Anders, the ridiculously talented actor who played the ridiculously awesome Mr. Sark on Alias, is in final talks with Heroes to play a new character named Kane for the upcoming second season.

- A new hot young female hero is joining the gang on NBC's hit sci-fi drama Heroes. Dania Ramirez (The Sopranos) has been added as a regular on the NBC Universal TV Studio series, which is returning for a second season in the fall. Ramirez will play Maya, a new hero whose powers are being kept under wraps. Maya is one of four to five new characters expected to be added to Heroes next season, but her character might be the only regular one. The other roles, most of which are said to have international flavor, include a sexy boyfriend for Claire (Hayden Panettiere), a 28-year-old black mother, a surrogate for Niki's (Ali Larter) son and an Irish mobster.

I watched episodes 19 and 20 last saturday and it was really great.
I loved (almost forgot to put spoiler tags for those who haven't watched them):
- the short battle between Sylar and Peter
- when Claire removed the shard from Peter's head
- In fact, I like everything which involve Sylar and/or Peter (and Hiro too) :D
- Isaac's death, despite being a bit too barbaric, was impressive because of Isaac's behaviour
- I also loved Nathan's reaction when he discovered Peter had "died" (he isn't a selfish politician as he seems to be)
- Future Hiro and Future Peter when they attacked the Homeland Security building
I can't wait for the last 3 episodes next Saturday. But then I'll have to wait a looong time :cry (well, it's the same for everyone)

Peter so happy hes back but what have the organisation done with him. And hes wearing the necklace like that Hasian did. And now hes got some crazy power. My guesses its the organisation on that part controling and manipulating his powers and put him in the care to forget who he is and was because he doesn't seem to remember anything.

I know i was gutted by that Kaito's sorta faling of building. I hope he isn't dead either i wanted to know what his power is as well the same with Angela. I think hes probably going to be dead and Angela will spill the beans on the past and there powers and what they did etc.

Yeah i find it a bit lame am sure they will come out with some new ones. That Mya's power is so freeky and how her brother just absorbs it is so cool. I hate the organisation more now there like some controling freeks. I feel sorry for Claires Dad after seeing that painting as well. I wasn't shocked though i could kind of see that coming. Claire has to get away from the guy i forgot his name otherwise that painting will come true. I swear thats him and her in the background. I had to laugh at that Kensei bit as well poor Hiro as well he won't be able to get the princess or whatever she is. Am so bad at remembering names. And Peter helping the Irish out that bit has got to be my favourite bit of the season so far.

Yes i think we do am one of these people who detests spoiling things for people or being spoilt myself so i put stuff that i think may spoil something under a spoiler tag. Wow weren't there some bombshells dropped in this Epi. Sylars fully back it would seem i hope Mya and her brother aren't screwed i want to see their characthers develop more. I think the only reason why Mrs Petrelli (forgot first name) is going into prison is so he don't find her. I've always assumed she had powers after finding out that shes involved with Linderman. -shrug- Anyway, now we know she does have powers, now we just need to find out what they are! She better now die some cheap death like Kaito and NOT show them to us D<

Matt's dad = boogeyman was an interesting twist and one that I was waiting for.

In all honesty, I'm not too impressed with season 2 so far. I was re-watching season one and comparing the two, the second season just doesn't have that same atmosphere. It feels empty. It's lacking... something. Plus, I don't think the story's all that great so far.

I'm tired of this Claire/West sidestory. I wish it'd go somewhere faster. Plus, plothole/inconsistency with West? How could he have not seen HRG when he almost ran over Claire? Or how could HRG not have recognized West? I'm sure he'd be able to pick out a kid he experimented on, especially if said kid has powers, yah? Eh... maybe it's a different HRG (Bob perhaps?), but... eh.

On the bright side, however, Sylar being a part of Maya/Alejandro makes their story so much better. I wonder how it will go and am very interested :]

Yeah am sick of this Claire thing now. She was like the main plotline of last season not this season its like a mixed bag and its kinda anoying.

The reason why she wants to be slammed in prision is because she either wants to die alone in the cell by whoever killed Kaito or she wants to be saved like going into hiding in prison. Yea, there's no goal. Well, for each little sidestory, there is (for the most part), but even so, there isn't really a solid direction the show's going right now.

let's kill sylar? no one even knows he's alive again. only alejandro and maya, but they don't know who he is. plus, he's powerless except for his intuitive aptitude (knows how things work), so... hopefully he gets something back soon to make his trip with the twins interesting.

ehhhh, too much, too much. as it is, it takes 2 full episodes to *try* to go anywhere with any of these plots. at least some of them are merging, but still. where is this all going? last year, we had "stop the bomb". this year, we have... save HRG? find the boogeyman? cure the virus? eh

let's kill sylar? no one even knows he's alive again. only alejandro and maya, but they don't know who he is. plus, he's powerless except for his intuitive aptitude (knows how things work), so... hopefully he gets something back soon to make his trip with the twins interesting.

Yeah theres like what i count there about 11 things in one. It's crazy. Am sure they'll all merg into one. I think its like a state of chao's now they haven't got a main goal and it will all lead to something. And Hiro's trying to fix the future i think so whats going on now doesn't even happen i think am not fully sure but thats what i get from the jist of it.

I can't wait me need to watch so jump on the net to watch. Am so wanting season 1 on DVD for xmas. I loved it. So far its better than season 2 but i think theres more to come.

Everyone to their own i guess. I can see in someparts how its a bit cheesy but i wouldn't say the whole thing is and i have seen far worse cheesier things. It's not really meant to be convicing either they are people with extrodinary abilities.
