Rules:

1) If you do not like a pairing DO NOT post in that pairing FC. If you read the fanclub and want to discuss something that was said then sort it out via PM or elsewhere, do NOT go into that fanclub and start a war. Anyone posting in a pairing fanclub that isn't a fan will almost automatically recieve a ban.

2) Try not to discuss other pairings unless it is absolutely necessary.

3) You can discuss other pairings but when others discuss your pairing negatively and you don't like it sort it out through pm, if you break the above rule to start a flame war it's an instant ban.

4) Neg reps to rival pairing fc posts over such things won't be tolerated. I consider this being in an FC of a pairing you don't like therefore breaking a rule.

5) I'd suggest just totally not reading the fc of the pairing you don't like but I know that is never gonna happen. You all wanna be able to talk about other pairings so much well fine but just be prepared for others to do it about your favourite pairing also.

6) At this point in time any pairing/ship/ship wars issues will be dealt with by: spacecat. So please contact spacecat if there is a problem and not another mod.

7) Many members of both the IchixHime and IchixRuki FC's have decided that all such anti/offensive sigs and avas will be removed and will not be used here anymore. If an anti/offensive sig is made in the future it will be removed and if you are a repeat offender then you will be warned. This includes text also.

Powers: Grimmjow is the Sexta Espada, making him the sixth most powerful arrancar under Aizen's control. Aside from those granted by his zanpakutō, he has demonstrated no unique personal abilities, but makes liberal use of the generic menos and arrancar abilities, such as cero, when in combat. As an Espada, he is able to use the Espada-exclusive gran rey cero attack, which produces a larger and more powerful version of the normal cero.
Release: Pantera
The name of Grimmjow's zanpakutō is Pantera (豹王, Pantera? lit. leopard king, but read in Spanish as panther). His zanpakutō's tsuba resembles a crooked "S", while the sheath and handle are light blue. The release command for his zanpakutō is "grind" (軋れ, kishire?, refering to grinding one's teeth). After releasing his zanpakutō, Grimmjow's appearance becomes feline and predatory, taking on features such as jagged teeth, paws for feet, and a tail that can be used as a powerful whip. His hair becomes long and flowing, and his eye markings enlarge, extending to the tips of his ears, which also become cat-like. He loses his trademark jaw mask, which is replaced by a sort of crown just above his forehead. Aside from his already impressive speed and power, Grimmjow's released state augments his speed drastically and gives him animal-like agility and movements to match. He can roar when released, creating powerful shockwaves in the air. He can also fire a large number of "darts" from his elbows with enough force to demolish large buildings, as well as creating energy claws from his fingertips. These energy claws are called desgarrón (Spanish for tear).

The Obligatory "Intro":

The purpose of this contest is very simple: to show our love of the Grimmjow and Orihime pairing.

Prizes:

All 1-3rd place winners (per category) will receive a banner stating where you placed.

The Rules of the Game:

1. All Ages Welcome
2. All submissions must be Grimmjow and Orihime related.
3. All submissions must be original works created especially for this contest. SEND SUBMISSIONS TO RIEKIE.
4. Works rated R and up must be tagged as so.
5. If using someone's artwork in your banner/avatar/AMV/MMV etc. please do not forget to credit if you can.
6. Even if you don't ship GrimmxHime, you are still allowed to enter the contest. The more the merrier!

The Way it’s Played:

So far, we have eight categories where a contestant can pass their entries on. These are (1) Icons/Avatars, (2) Banners, (3) AMV/MMV, (4) Fanfictions, and (5) Fanarts, (6) Wallpapers, (7) Poems, (8) Songs

A person can pass an entry for ALL the categories. If you'd rather just pass one, that's okay too. The rules are quite lax in order not to stiffle the creative process.

Dates to Remember:

December 1st - February 17th: Submission period
February 18th - Voting
February 19th - Winners announced

While this is essentially a crack-pairing for me and I understand the relationship dynamics that exists within the pairing, my hearts weeps a little for all the "Mature warning" in the fanfiction section. :(

...except, is one of them more about, uh, violence or hopeless or manipulation rather than sex? I haven't really checked :p

I actually don't know either, Hali. I got these fan fictions off of the GxH FC at NF...I actually haven't read them :o

Also, that Grimmjow song made me think of something. You guys want to collaborate on an FST? (then we can ask our owner, very nicely to make the art for us ;))

Eee...That depends on how busy I am. Tanabata is coming up (so not looking forward to compiling all of the entries! *sob sob*; I've got to make a banner for this FC, and the Orihime FC.

Well, let's just say that the FC's there are having a WWIII over their beliefs in their pairing. BA is good enough not to have an Anti FC. I remember I created a Grimmjow, Orihime, and Ulquiorra FC there, and boom IchiHime, UlqHime, and some IchiRuki ganged me up with negs.

Oh, I got the oneshot done for Orihime's birthday~! But I'll wait until her actual birthday (September 3rd) to post it. Since I got it done ahead of time, I might actually proofread for once! :O

And if it weren't for Grimmjow's Tarantinoesque speech in the oneshot, the entire thing would be squeaky clean. But Grimmjow prevents any form of fanfiction of being PG or lower (at least in my case he does). -_-...

And of course after writing something fairly clean, the next oneshot will probably be the most...erm...twisted one so far. >.>;

The hardest part is getting each of the frames to line up evenly with the previous frame, otherwise it's a piece o'cake! I use Jasc PSP 9 to make the frames, then Jasc Animation Shop 3 to animate it.

In fanfiction news, it still seems like I'm the only person writing the pairing lately. XD

After I finish the Kenpachi/Unohana crackfic request for the person who caught my kiriban on Deviantart, I'll have two GrimmHime oneshots coming up. One with smex, the other without. I was, at first, hoping Nel would heal him with her barf and then we'd get a huge laugh out of that scene! LOL, but I think he's gone from the story for the long-term. When we do see him again, I bet he'll be all bandaged-up...

While I don't think that Grimmjow is necessarily protective over Orihime, I do find it interesting that out of everyone that he's interacted with in the entire series, Orihime is the only person he's done ANYTHING decent for (even if he wanted a favor in return -_-...). And really, that's gotta count for something.
