In recent months, there has been a growing tension between the United Stated and Russia over President Bush's plan for a missile outpost in Europe. Vladimir Putin has expressed his concerns that such a military procedure could be viewed as an act of aggression. At the recent G8 summit, Presidents Bush and Putin had the chance to sit down and discuss the matter. We want to hear your opinions. What do you think about this particular issue of multi-national affairs?

Hmm I don't like missiles pointing at anyone but there are some countries who go ahead with testing weapons which could also be considered an act of aggression...like why be testing them if you aren't gonna use them? It makes people paranoid and so things like missile outposts happen. I don't like any of it. They are all gonna blow each other up one day...luckily I'm down here in Australia.
*When I say weapons testing I mean MAJOR weapons of the nuclear type etc. Obv ppl are gonna need to test other weapons and new technologies.

I HATE HATE HATE anything to do with war, weaposn the lot. Its a whole pointless load of rubbish. Man was meant to learn to live with each other not destroy each other and the Earth. I think its pointless testing weapons you are never going to use there is no point to it at all. As soon as they say we can live on Mars am off.
Yep that goes to Human ambition to conquer :D.
Matters related to missiles can be troublesome :s, they can screw up and do unexpected damage, still i hope they come to an agreement.

Ha, the USA wanted Canada to join in the missile program, but we said, nthnx, kbye. >_> The US ambassador said it would cause repercussions on the two countries' relationship, but so far nothing's really changed. :p
Is it even accurate enough to shoot down a missile? Weren't the test results sort of ... discouraging? If I were the president of another country, I'd also be tense at the proposition, especially since the two countries have only been on good terms for a few years (the Cold War wasn't that far away, eh).
I hope Bush backs off on this. Not all countries, allied countries even, will view the missile program favourably.

I really think Bush should just sit down and listen to the people around him, he's already screwed up Iraq and I dont think Russia should share the same fate just because they dont want missiles in their soil. What is it with Bush doing stuff in foreign countries anyways, I mean the oil now he wants missiles. I hope this doesnt fuel another Cold War or something.
Gee, I wonder how Bush and the United States would react to a country offering to put up a missile outpost in American soil?
I really think the US should stop with all this phoney war business in other countries. Nothing good will come from it, and they're just going to end up destroying their ecomomy like Rome did. Then, the Americans are going to be woefully unprepared when a real threat appears. Any first year history major can tell you the problems of spending too much of your budget on the military. Why do these people seem to be non-existent in the American government?
The United States should keep in mind a quote by Friedrich Nietzsche:
"Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster."
I'm getting worried the Americans are becoming the terror that they're supposed to be fighting.
