Specific Fan Club Rules.

* All fan clubs must be made and submitted as you would any other post however in the fan clubs forums it will be viewed by a mod before it is either allowed or rejected.

* If a fan club owner has been inactive for 3 months you may take over ownership of an FC. Please make a new FC with the same version number as the current inactive FC but add NEW to the title.


* If a fan club owner is inactive in an FC but active on BA and you want to take over the FC, seek their permission via vm or pm first.


* NO ANTI FC WILL BE APPROVED.


* If you go over 1000 posts, be warned that posts after 1000 will be deleted.


* FC owners cannot make specific rules that must be followed, you are not mods. If there are problems in your FC click the report post button and let the mods handle it.


* We do allow country FC's but these are basically so that people from the same country can socialise and get to know each other and arrange possible meetings in their community. We do not allow FC's for specific towns/states etc please stick to the country FC's.


* If you are caught bashing members in another language in your country FC you will be banned.


* If you do not like a pairing DO NOT post in that pairing FC. If you read the fan club and want to discuss something that was said, please sort it out via PM or elsewhere, do NOT go into that fan club and start a war.


* You can discuss other pairings but when others discuss your pairing negatively and you don't like it don’t kick up a fuss.

Hum, since you weren't there yet, Nimbus decided to go ahead and make the new FC. So that makes him the new owner now. :p



Anyway, who else is excited about WW in HD (Rayl, don't say anything :hm :rotflmao). 'Cause I know I am; I mean, those graphics! :noes
At least it won't be like OOT 3D where they censored everything (yes, still bitter about BotW).
I'm still not convinced about the Wii U, but this game, as well as the brand new Zelda that might come out in 2014, perhaps will change my mind about this console.


Also, it's a bit OT, but I totally had a fangirling moment because it's official: Zeda Hyrule Historia is coming out in my country this summer! Many citizens had bought the US version of the book because it wasn't supposed to come out here (or at least we weren't sure); nonetheless knowing that it will makes me very happy.

I read Hyrule Historia, months ago online. Its a good read; but its nothing too big of a deal, in my opinion.

WW HD is nice, but if Nintendo is going to continue doing this, then I want MM and TP remastered in the next 3 years.

I despise Nintendo for skipping the Majora's Mask remake right now, it's my favourite game and probably the best Zelda in terms of pure storytelling and character and they skipped it for that borefest? Yeahno. Not happy at all.

You are talking about overhauling a game from the Nintendo 64 era. When they do remake Majora's Mask, it will be for the 3DS, just as Star Fox, Ocarina of Time and Super Mario 64 were.

WW is the only Zelda I totally dislike. I can't put my finger on it but it just rubs me the wrong way...in all way's possible...

As for overhauling it because it was N64: so what? Can't be that hard, they did the same with Ocarina of Time for 3DS which was also from N64. Getting MM for 3DS would be good enough.

Getting the lamest title of the series on WiiU won't make me buy one. Get OOT and / or MM on it ad I'll have a U right this second but couldn't care less for WW.

That's how I feel about MM, couldn't have said it better. So I, personally, am glad it's WW instead.

Though, moving on, I still want Nintendo to bring back the Shadow Temple in some way....I would love to see that in HD in its full uncensored glory.

Also I would like for the Oracle games to come back. Those were fantastic, especially Seasons. I'm just lucky I still have them, and have that GameBoy player for my Gamecube. They're for the freakin' GameBoy Colour, when was the last time anyone has ever seen one of those? *looks at my shelf and sees one*.....and that actually works.

Huge fan of Legend of Zelda. Love the characters, story, gameplay...well basically everything lol. I even get irritated when some people think main character name is Zelda -_-

Also my favorite Legend of Zelda games are Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess, A Link to the Past, and Wind Waker and few others. Still need to play Skyward Sword.

I never cared for Majora's Mask, and never understood the hate for Wind Waker. I really enjoyed the game. Some say one of the reasons because of the cel-shaded graphics which a bit silly.

Personally that wasn't the reason for me, I love Cell Shading (Okami, No more Heroes, Naruto Gekkitou Ninjataisen etc.) I much more disliked the story and how the game progressed.
Never understood the hate for MM but each their own ~

You are the best staff member on the forum.

THe graphics weren't an issue for me, it was it's length which, when you take away the triforce quest, makes WW pathetically short and INCREDIBLY easy.

Edit: Found this. I would buy another 3DS for this, no question about it.

My only complaint about MM is the same one that most have, the 3 day window, i hated that. There are some fairy item's i've been unable to get just because i couldn't get all the fairies in time. even using a walkthrough, that's how hard they were for me. that's even using the slowdown song.

Another thing would be i couldn't progress further in the game cheating a little bit like i could in ocarina, nothing was harder than the water temple, once i got the longshot then i could get the hover boots from the shadow temple, get the eye of truth from the well and then i beat the sand temple before i'd even beat the water one.

You CAN do it that way actually, but it requires a bit more skill then just leaving the temple after getting the items.

I've beaten Stone Tower before Great Bay before and just as well for it since the Great Bay boss is a huge bitch.

oh, i didn't know about that.

windwaker though remains an all time favorite, because of the sailing, i enjoyed that part the most. Probably as much as i would spirit tracks being a train enthusiast. Waker was one of the games i've been able to beat without much difficulty, some might see that as a deterrent, but i've beaten ocarina twice and failed many times, never beaten twilight because of the sumo toss vs wolf ganon, and wasn't able to clear the final Ghirahim in skyward.

My favorite of the series is Majora's Mask. It went on a different path than the usual "save Hyrule from Ganon" storyline. I liked the time limit, and thought it gave me an interesting challenge. This was the only Zelda game that really made me emotional; the soundtrack (Last 5 Minutes theme during Kafei/Anju side-quest) made each scene affect me more than anything out of OoT, or any of the others.
I really enjoyed completing all the side-quests and getting the masks. It was fun to roll around Hyrule wearing the Goron mask, and beating all the boss battles again after I got the Fierce Deity mask. Even though there were less dungeons than usual, I thought they were more demanding with the time limit. I would also like to add that my favorite was the Stone Tower temple. :D

If I had to rank my favorite Zelda games it would be this: 1) MM, 2) OoT, 3) TP, 4) WW, 5) SS.

Well some fans when I seen them spread hate on WW They always come up with that reason. Also complained about having to sail on each island and also gathering of the Triforce pieces. I had a fun time playing this game and it was pretty unique.

Though what didn't you like about the story?

There are many overlooked Zelda games that really deserve a remake the most like A Link to the Past.

I must say although I liked the storyline and gameplay of WW, it was just too easy :/ nevertheless, I'll be getting it when it comes out for the Wii U :P

Those games are as well, but people who only played the 3D Zelda games never heard of A Link to the Past which is very sad.

Yeah WW was FAR too easy, never felt challenged at all during any of my runs of the game =/

Skyward Sword is an interesting one, it's a great gaiden title if anything and is very beautiful, making full use of the lessons learned from previous Zelda stylings (If anything it's WW's graphics done correctly) but overall it's mostly forgettable.

Great fun on your first run but yeah... mostly forgettable.

I had Ghirahim, i was down to the last floating level before the ground but was maxed out, no more potions fairies, etc. It was the gauntlet before him that drained the potions and fairies, there should've been a save statue at the bottom of the valley, so that you can face ghirahim at 100 percent, not at 60% or less because that difference would've left me with enough to beat him. I had all the bottles, reduced damage potions, fairies etc.

But i also didn't have the hylian shield. i hated that about skyward, you couldn't upgrade one of the other shields into the hylian... really?

The boss rush should've been for the special hearts or something else, not something that's been readily available ingame for every zelda to date.

But i digress, my biggest complaint about most zelda series is that you go into the finals and its still david vs goliath, Majora's was the one exception to this, FIERCE DEITY.

With that mask you were on equal terms with the villains.

Twilight, that damn sumo toss prevents me from finishing the game. Why couldn't i stab that beast ganon? Why is there always only one way to beat certain enemies? In twilight you learn helm splitter and mortal strike but somehow can't use them against beast ganon? why not?

You already know how I feel about this but I'll say it again: I'm glad it's WW that is getting remade in HD. I've always had a soft spot for this game as it is the one that truly introduced me to the LoZ series and made me a fan (also, no Skulltulas).
I didn't like MM because:

1) No Adult Link
2) The controls were terrible (at least IMO; the same could be said for OOT, but somehow I always had more problems playing and aiming in MM than in OOT).
3) Creepy Moon gave me nightmares for weeks :lmao
4) The freaking 3 days limit. If there's one thing that I love to do while playing any Zelda games, it's to explore the field(s) (or islands in WW), and just simply pause everything every once in a while and listen to the music. So this time limit was a big no for me.

Shadow temple, or even Bottom of the Well, in HD with the blood stains on the wall and everything uncensored would be too epic for words.
Those two places were the ones I was looking forward to the most when I heard about OOT 3D. And then... you know what happened :p

Dear god, I actually thought Ghirahim, AKA the very first boss of the game, was the hardest boss of the game :rotflmao That is, if you don't count the Imprisoned. Other than that, the other bosses were fairly easy IMO.

Thanks! Happy to be back and apart of the fun again ^__^. What I am looking forward too as well is the updated Wind Waker.
Cell shaded is my type of coffee now because of how much Borderlands I've been playing and well it was pretty nice. Going around on a boat that can talk beats riding Epona forever and traveling all over Hyrule. >__< It icky really fast....

Also I like Ganondorf's story in this one. It's a perfect ending to OOT,but damn the ending bites hard and then you feel bad for Ganon :'(

The first Ghirahim was hard because you were still figuring out how to use the wii controls and then i found i struggled through him and the later versions of the imprisoned,

I figured out a trick for the silent realms, go through the first or second ones and collect as many dusk relics as you can i think i saved up to 40-50 for later use in upgrading items. I never made it to hero mode since i couldn't beat the game.
