So, I was gonna save part 2 of the 50 questions Cezaria posted for V2... And then I realized I never answered part 1! Soooo... Part 1, why not?

UlquiHime 50 Queries (Part 1)
1. What's your name? (nicknames are fine)
Jobrill is fine. Tends to get shortened to Jobby a lot too.

2. How did you come to like Ulquiorra x Orihime?
I just loved all the little moments in the manga where Orohime seemed just a but TOO embarrassed or guilty, or Ulquiorra kept looking surprised, or kept making comments about her not involving the word "trash." It was just so cute!

3. What do you like most about this pairing?
I like the sort of slow, halting, beginnings of a flirtation from two somewhat emotionally stunted people. I like that Ulquiorra seems a bit more human when he interacts with her.

4. What are your favourite scenes regarding this pairing?
Well, most of the time they're both on screen, it's a lot of fun. It's hard to say one scene or another is better.

5. Is this pairing your OTP?
I wouldn't say that, but... I'm fond of it.

6. What nicknames do you give to this pairing?
UlquiHime is what I usually call it. I'm adverse to Ulqiori either.

7. Which one do you like more, Ulquiorra or Orihime?
I like Ulquiorra. He's evil, but his personality is just so intriguing.

8. What nicknames do you give to Ulquiorra?
I... don't think he'd let me survive if he heard me giving him a nickname, so I try to avoid it.

9. What nicknames do you give to Orihime?
I've been guilty of shortening her name to Hime every once in a while.

10. Do you think this pairing is one-sided or reciprocated?
Right now, I'd say it's mostly one-sided on Ulquiorra's part, though like I've said, there are times when Orohime blushes a bit too much around him, if you get my drift...

11. Apart from this pairing, what other pairings do you support?
Ichiruki (OTP!), MatsuHitsu, Ishihime, Urahura/Yoruichi, sometimes Soifon/Yoruichi when I'm in a naughty mood.

12. What colour do you think represents the pairing?
Certainly, the White of Hueco Mundo.

13. What song do you think represents this pairing?
Tough question, actually. I'd almost say "She's so High" by Tal Bachman, but... It's a bit too upbeat for good old Ulquiorra. Actually, I really like "Bittersweet" from Within Temptation as song for them, since, at least for the moment, it's sort of a sad, unspoken love.

14. Do you think this pairing is a Bleach version "Romeo and Juliet"?
Eh, It's too early to tell. I do very much like the "Beauty and the Beast" comparison others have drawn, though. Certainly, the keeping of beauty in a room, and the idea of irritation blooming into admiration and then love, are there.

15. Who do you think is a potential rival to this pairing?
I'd say Ishida, since he's the one I'd see actively pursuing Orohime of the current characters in Bleach.

16. What fanworks have you done for this pairing?
Unfortunately, none as of yet!

17. How big a chance do you think this pairing will happen for real?
Hm. 50 percentish? I'm not yet convinced this is where Kubo is ultimately going, but... There's certainly signs, and I think it would add a lot to the storyline to go down that path.

18. Are you happy with what has happened in the manga (regarding this pairing) so far?
Oh yeah. There's been some pretty fun subtext to watch, and I'm looking foward to seeing more once Ulquiorra breaks out of his prison.

19. Will you still support this pairing through fanworks even if it will not happen?
Oh, yes! This is such a deliciously fun pairing, and I think it stands on it's own merits. I'm generally not the type to drop my ships even if they don't pan out in canon, so I'd continue to have fun with it in fanworks.

20. Do you think one is a hollow and the other is human pose a problem for this pairing?
Well, certainly. Orohime's human and shinigami friends are going to be dead set against it from the beginning, and Ulquiorra's gonna have to break some heads to convince other Hollows that no matter HOW strong her reiatsu is, she's not food! I'm sure it'll take some work before they can live in peace, no matter where they live.

21. Why do you think some oppose this pairing?
Well, some probably see Ulquiorra as irredeemable, or dislike the idea of Orohime showing sympathy for the devil, perse, or ship Orohime with someone else. They may also dislike the undertones of Stockholm syndrome.

22. Are there many supporters of this pairing that you know?
Not especially, actually. Most fellow Bleach fan friends of mine haven't really given a thought this pairing, if any pairing.

23. (Previous question) How about in real life?
Same deal! I have some friends and siblings who watch the anime, and even read the manga, but I don't think they've given the ship thought.

24. If there is only one donut, how will they split it?
Ulquiorra will make it quite clear that the Donut is "trash" and that Orohime may lower herself to eat it if she so chooses. Arrancar love is so cute. <3

25. Where do you think they will go on a first date?
A Secluded Beach at night. It's a little slice of home for Ulquiorra, while certainly being romantic enough to thrill the heart of a young maiden!

26. Do you support any other Ulquiorra or Orihime pairings?
If shounen-ai is counted, I'd have to say GrimmUlq. But other than that, no other Ulquiorra pairing. As for Orihime pairings, IchiHime, IshiHime and ChadHime.

27. Does it affect how much you like this pairing?
Actually, no. Or at least not much.

28. Are there any pairings you are against because of this pairing?
Any other male arrancar x Orihime. Ulquiorra is the only Arrancar I can imagine to be with Orihime. ^_^

29. Who do you think likes the other more, Ulquiorra to Orihime or Orihime to Ulquiorra?
As of now, Ulquiorra to Orihime.

30. Who is more prone to jealousy, Ulquiorra or Orihime?
I'd say Orihime, but who knows, maybe Ulquiorra is/can be jealous, he just doesn't show it as easily as Orihime does.

31. Is there any chance Orihime would become seme? And in what situation?(Yes, she is definitely uke to begin with)
No. I'm having a hard time imagining Orihime as a believable seme. ;D

32. What words of advice would you give to them?
To Ulquiorra: "Don't be shy. It's only normal to like someone. Just show her how you feel already. ;)" and to Orihime: "It can't be that bad to like a bad guy." or something along those lines, anyway.

33. Where do you think their first kiss would take place?
Maybe either in Orihime's room in Las Noches or Ulquiorra's room.

34. Would they fight? If so, over what?
I don't think they'd fight over just about anything. . .or maybe, who is the first to take a bath, and after they cool down a bit, they'd decide that they should go together. x3

35. What would Orihime do with Ulquiorra's helmet?
I dunno really, maybe just look at herself in the mirror and admire how cool it is.

36. What would Ulquiorra do with Orihime's hairpins?
Probably not wear them at least, unless Orihime tells him otherwise. :D

37. If they were to cosplay another pairing, who should they cosplay?
Zagato and Emeraude from Magic Knight Rayearth. The seemingly cold sorcerer who happens to be in love with a princess.

38. How much taller is Ulquiorra than Orihime? (XDDD)
I assume Ulquiorra is somewhere between 168-172 cm (5'5"-5'6.5"). Orihime is 157 cm (5'1.5").

39. What do you think was on the menu for that first meal Orihime was given in Las Noches?
I'm at least having mental images of the meal being fancy in a way, lol.

40. Did Ulquiorra peek when Orihime changed into her arrancar outfit? (XDDD)
I'd like to think that yes. XD

I don't think Ulqui would smash Tsubaki at least, he's not like Yammy. Maybe he'd try to ignore him though, I'm not sure.

26. Do you support any other Ulquiorra or Orihime pairings?
None for Ulq though UlqGrimm is hot. For Orihime, IshiHime is my other Orihime OTP, and it peacefully coexists with UO. I also like ChadOri, more because Chad Needs Love.

27. Does it affect how much you like this pairing?
Nope. I think at the end, Orihime will end up with Ishida. Unfortunatelly for me, Ulquiorra is a bad guy and a Hollow, and as such is doomed, so I never got my hopes up. So... I think for now it's definitely UlquiOri, but once Ulqui dies (T__T it's inevitable)... well, Orihime will have to eventually go on.

28. Are there any pairings you are against because of this pairing?
Because? No, not really. Maybe UlqIchi. :eek:

29. Who do you think likes the other more, Ulquiorra to Orihime or Orihime to Ulquiorra?
It's Ulquiorra --> Hime. Orihime... well, it's complicated. Partially, she dislikes him (I don't think it's possible for her to hate anyone) because he's the 'enemy' and he threatened to kill her friends, but I think she's getting used to him. But after everything's said and done, she'll be right next to his dead body crying her heart out, I just know it.

30. Who is more prone to jealousy, Ulquiorra or Orihime?
Ulquiorra. "GIVE HER BACK, BEETCH" is what will forever remain in my mind as a line in a typical Ulquiorra - Grimmjow conversation. xD I never knew possessive was hot before I got into UlquiOri.

31. Is there any chance Orihime would become seme? And in what situation?(Yes, she is definitely uke to begin with)

No, not really, to be honest. xD Ulquiorra is a natural seme, it just comes to him. Except, of course, if we're talking about Aizen/Ulquiorra, but that's just disgusting to me.

32. What words of advice would you give to them?
"Unresolved Sexual Tension is a thing of the past, sweethearts. Get over it."

33. Where do you think their first kiss would take place?
Anywhere under the moon of Hueco Mundo. That's one smexy moon. <3 (shut up, brain)

34. Would they fight? If so, over what?
Well, mostly it would be something like their conversation in 262. Ulquiorra was trying badly to understand her, but Orihime, who's usually so perceptive, didn't quite get it because he was downplaying her nakama. But they would never have a real FIGHT, mostly because it would all end like that one did - Ulqui would leave the room and Hime would break down crying.

35. What would Orihime do with Ulquiorra's helmet?
On Christmas, she'd definitely hang a decoration on his horn. :D

36. What would Ulquiorra do with Orihime's hairpins?
Look at them confused, then ask her "I don't understand. What are these peculiar objects used for?"

37. If they were to cosplay another pairing, who should they cosplay?

Oh I have SO noticed that! In fact, ilovemybishies and I discussed it and I think we came up with like two Ulqui scenes that had nothing to do with Hime. In all the others he either is interacting with her, talking about her, or thinking about her.

We came up with the scene where he checks on Yammi and his arm and the scene where he talks to Gin. There might have been one more, but I can't think of it right now.

Hmm... well I can't say I feel the same, haha. I'd rather have Ulquiorra come back and see him interact with many different people (Orihime, Ichigo, Grimmjow, Noitora, other Espada, etc.), and see his character developed more through those interactions. Also, I think those interactions with other characters really serve to highlight just how unique his connection to Orihime is. :)

Wow you guys only came up with two scenes that didn't somehow involve Orihime, Sidonzo? That's amazing. I really love the fact that much of Ulquiorra's character development is tied to Orihime in some way or another. Even if nothing romantic happens between these two, it's undeniable that their relationship is truly one of a kind in this manga. :)
