Well, the only Japanese bands/singers I can say I really like are Utada Hikaru and High and Mighty Color, they are the only ones I actually own albums from (though I only have one from each a few downloaded songs. Imported CDs are expensive.) I do have various Japanese songs I've downloaded from anime though. I'd probably have more if I actually understood Japanese as opposed to liking how it sounds and looking up the translated lyrics lol.
